Modding this game appears to be the same as Sky 1st.  Here is a link on how to mod it.

 

EDIT:  The textures are compressed, you can use lz4_compress.py and lz4_decompress.py from my Kuro MDL Toolset to work with them.  (Support added in v1.6.7).  Be sure to run python_install_modules.bat again to install the lz4 module.

It looks like Falcom did something to the DDS files. The DDS files from Sky 2nd can’t be opened directly with paint.NET, and the game also can’t read the DDS files I created.

In my region, the demo was only announced for Switch, so this is wonderful news.
I'm always truly blown away by your incredible speed and craftsmanship!
I'm right before the ending of Kyoto Xanadu now, so as soon as I wrap it up, I can't wait to jump into the demo and start modding while learning from your work.

(And I'll definitely be careful with how I post next time so I don't stir up another debate 😅.)

The textures are now compressed with lz4.  I will include tools for the textures with my next release of the MDL tool, but you can grab an early copy of the tools:

Sorry for the confusion—my translation must have been a bit off! The PC demo is actually available here in Japan too.
Until today, every time I had AI check, there was no official announcement for anything other than the Switch version, so I had completely given up on it 😅.

thank you so much for this! it is essential for her to have her original panties back for the second game. it does dread me going through the whole modding setup again. i have done it for 1st and set up mod tables and whatnot and it works, but i forgot everything already lol

Known issue:

A floating bracer emblem will appear in front of Estelle when you use certain no skirt models. If this bothers you, you can install the MDL file from the 'Optional' folder to remove it. However, this will also cause the emblem to disappear in cutscenes.

How to use:

This script is used with Cheat Engine (CE).  Instructions on how to install CE and load the table here.

 

Feature List:

• Force Pause Animation - F5 to turn on, F6 to turn off - this completely pauses the game!  Check the box to enable before using.
• Hide Interface - F7 to toggle. Everything disappears - interface, minimap, dialogue, menus, overlays, letterboxing, everything.
• Control camera distance (zoom) - F4 to toggle. Press Home to zoom in, End to zoom out.  Will remember your custom zoom value prior to cutscenes and restore the value after, IF you do not adjust the zoom during the cutscene itself.
• Free camera - press 0 to activate. See instructions below on how to navigate.
• Set Camera Min Z to Floor: There is a function that stops the camera from going any lower than waist-height. This changes the limit to just above the floor. For the best experience, also turn on No Clip.
• No Clip - Objects will stop disappearing when they get too close to the camera.

 

Free Camera Controls:

 

Hotkey : Num 0 (Toggle On/Off)

 

After activating the script player can use the following hotkeys:
W : Forward
S : Backward
A : Left
D : Right
R : Up
F : Down

 

Mouse control for tilt/pan!  (You can turn mouse support on and off with page up / page down keys while the script is active.)
I : Tilt Up
K : Tilt Down
L : Pan Right
J: Pan Left

 

F1 : Decrease Camera Speed (Press and Hold)
F2 : Double Camera Speed (Press and Hold)

Ive only modded Horizon so this had quite a few things that I had to adjust to but thanks to @amorrow28 for the quick image decompressor. Enjoy!

Fixed the badge issue and now includes Anelace and Scherizard under the v1 folder. Repaste v2 if you want that outfit for Estelle.

Updated to add some pizzazz to Estelle's v2 and Schera's outfit.

And now Kloe's joined the fun.

Anelace and Kloe freed from underwear version available. Paste v1 first then override with the no underwear asset folder.

That was with extracting the original chr5000_c10 but I was able to make it work by mixing it with a model from the previous game. Anyways I was just getting my feet wet with this so Im going back to wrap my horizon mods. Enjoy!
