UnEvenSteven Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Messed around a bit and this seems like nice mod and I look forward to future updates. Biggest issue, for me, is that our characters are immediately referred to as the Dragonborn. Kind of disappointing. Not everyone with "kinked-out" load orders play the main quest-line and thus their characters are not and will never be, the Dragonborn. 1
Shmurtle Posted May 18 Posted May 18 13 hours ago, HereBeTentacles said: I don't think it's super drastic considering most people using this are probably already going to have a kinked-out load order running in conjunction with this mod, otherwise yeah there would probably be a lot more lead-up. Could maybe add another quest to the intro chain to help but that's not really on my radar right now. When I do start doing story/one-off quests I would like to lock some of the more drastic stuff behind them. I already had an idea that the two tasks that have you leave the valley will probably be locked behind a quest that explains them and how the enchantment works a bit better. They were made when the mod was 100% non-con slavery and I only included them from the start since they were already done and I needed tasks to add. I think adding one more quest to the intro would definitely help with making the DB's actions seem bit more believable. I get your point that if you have a very kink heavy load order then this is probably not gonna be the DB's first contact with dom/sub relationships or slavery, but I think having the option to take things a bit slower would be really nice for people that have a tamer load order. Obviously if you as a player install a kinky mod like this you already know about and are fine with whatever situations you're gonna end up in, but at the end of the day the player and the DB are 2 different people with different lives, interests and values and creating more opportunities to roleplay during the intro would help with bridging that gap in a believable way. Also I think that adding a quest that explains the enchantment is a great idea. The way I understand it is that you look like an actual pony to everyone except the quest targets, which is pretty funny to think about since everyone else just sees a random ass horse running around Skyrim and casually entering the Jarls' houses all on their own. 24 minutes ago, UnEvenSteven said: Messed around a bit and this seems like nice mod and I look forward to future updates. I mean, this is a deliberate creative decision by the mod author and a central part of the mod's premise and story. The dichotomy between the DB being this giga powerful godlike being on a quest to save the world and them willingly submitting to Renna to be a pony girl is pretty hot and offers a lot of oppotunities for fun and interesting writing. I personally think that changing the PC to be a random woman instead would make this mod a lot less interesting. 1

I personally think that changing the PC to be a random woman instead would make this mod a lot less interesting. Being the Dragonborn is stressful. Let them let go of their responsibilities. Let the Dragonborn relax in whatever way they need. Also the Dragonborn can pretty much do whatever they want, whenever they want, so I'm not putting a lot of stock in these "my dragonborn would never do that" statements. If you feel that they wouldn't want to become a ponygirl to relax, then don't have them do it? I find the idea of someone as powerful as the dragonborn submitting to get their rocks off way more believable than them getting captured, blackmailed, or enslaved by people they could shatter into a million pieces by raising their voice. 1
UnEvenSteven Posted May 18 Posted May 18 That same logic could apply to any non-DB adventurer then. Your character doesn't have to be the Dragonborn in order to be stressed out and their way of relaxing is being submissive. Going with the discussion of some users and their issues of their DB very quickly submitting and becoming a pony-girl could present some opportunities and ideas. Keep the option of starting the mod as the Dragonborn but add other ways of starting without being the DB: Require at least level 20, simulates your character being experienced One condition from the following: Be Thane in at least two holds Complete at least 4-6 of the major side quests; Blood on the Ice, Heart of Dibella, Laid to Rest, The Wolf Queen Awakened, The Blessings of Nature, etc. Be the leader, or least completed the quest-line, of any guild. These would simulate your non-DB as having some fame and notoriety. Your character is seen as exceptional and some people might be interested in you... (Optional) Soft-dependency on SLUTs. After completing X amount of hauls or ranked up in the guild a courier will dispatched and deliver a letter with an offer. Your character clearly likes being a pony-girl so why not take it further? Simple ideas on paper but they could provide more opportunity for players to start the mod without being the Dragonborn. 3

I 100% agree! I love the fact that our DB gets roped into this initially out of their own desire and curiosity and then willingly submits when Renna gives them the opportunity to do so. I just think that the DB's rational brain ("I don't have time for this! I'm the Dragonborn and I have to save the world!") should fight back against the horny brain ("This is hot and I really want to do this!") at least a little bit. I don't want HBT to add a quest where Renna aggressively tries to convince the DB to submit but more so have Renna help the DB convince themself that it's ok to submit. So you can have Renna casually talk about the powerful mage and talented smith they have on the ranch so the Dragonborn goes "becoming a pony girl won't hinder my quest, it will actually help me! This is actually a fantastic idea and not just me being horny!" At the end of the day, how you write the intro largely depends on your own headcanon about the Dragonborn. The DB being a bit more hesitant is just my own headcanon. I think your "Fuck it, I'm a god and I want to relax" is also perfectly valid. Edited May 18 by Shmurtle 1

The way I was thinking about it was that with the enchantment they can still tell who you are/what you are up to but won't obstruct or be hostile to you and they probably won't remember the whole thing once you're gone. Something like that. Could make the quest demonstrate it in a controlled way as an introduction to it. 2 hours ago, blahity said: Being the Dragonborn is stressful. Pretty similar to my thoughts on it. While I do think the whole idea works better if the player is the Dragonborn it could still work if the player was very famous or powerful in some other regard as well. 1 hour ago, UnEvenSteven said: That same logic could apply to any non-DB adventurer then. Wouldn't be a priority and there are some things I have in mind that would probably just have to be disabled if you started the mod this way but it could be done eventually. 2

Tobitup Posted May 20 Posted May 20 Didnt expect to get lost so fast but can anyone help me with the first quest? Where is "another pass" to Valley?

Walk along the road towards the gate to Hammerfell. If you have the CC stuff enabled there's usually some goblins nearby.

Tobitup Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Since here a lot of people who get lost in the start here a place you need to find
Tobitup Posted May 21 Posted May 21 And i need some help again. Im stuck in this scene. She just repeating "go back in the stall" and nothing happens. Stalls are closed, marker still above her head. Its one of intruduction quests, ive already reloaded but still no progress

If thats during the first steps quest then there is a bug there some people have been having that I haven't been able to reproduce or fix that locks up that scene. I have been meaning to take another look at it at some point but haven't been able to do that yet. You can use one of the skips in the MCM to jump past that for now, that quest leads directly into enslavement.

I just skipped this scene but i have another problem i hope you can help me with. In the quest where i need to find the when i leave the tower i dont understand where i need to go. I get jolted by piersings frequently no matter where i go. From the dialog with Mage i understood that maybe i need to go to original skyrim but the gates closed and the way through the cave is closed also. It doent give any hints and i think im stuck here

If the piercing shock you no matter what then it seems like you might not have scrabs papyrus extender installed and that bugged the quest out. If you do then it's possible one of the destinations the quest chose is bugged and doesnt work but that wouldnt explain why the gate didnt unlock.

Would be cool if when you go in right or wrong direction maybe it should pop a liltle note like "youre doing good" or smth in the left upper corner of the screen
Tobitup Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Oh, nah. Now the "jolting problem" is fixed and it really giving you teasing hints but the gates are still closed

Might need a papyrus log to figure that one out. For now I would just unlock it with the console to continue. 1

I am not sure if the script that sets up that task and unlocks the gate will work properly if you started it on a save without the papyrus extender installed.
Tobitup Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I found out this mod has an elbowbinder. Is it used somewhere or is it just for future features?
Kosmos21 Posted May 24 Posted May 24 Recently found out about this mod and absolutely love it. Nice to find DD ponyplay content here. I was originally going to ask for help with the Reverie quest, but saw some of the posts and found out how to complete it. If anyone else is having trouble I found the khajiit in the Solitude Tavern basement but I'm not sure if the location is randomized. Looking forward to future updates @HereBeTentacles!
