It seems as a bug to me because at the start of the next day there are Rosalle who starts to talk with me while i have only "mmph" sentence which means i probably need to be gagged at this point. Moreover, after i spept to the 8 AM i coundnt sleep any longer because of "cannot sleep while taking damage" and nothing happens until 9AM when Rosalle comes and say that i slept for too long

I just fixed it so it should play out correctly now. Will be fixed in the next version

I also thought I added a marker that pointed to the barrel but I guess not. I can also add some comments to show progress like you said. Just another small suggestion: I noticed that sprinting when the buckets are filled makes you spill the water. I think it would be cool if tripping and falling over also did that. Couple of the tasks also have a bit of variation to them (Adrienn's has two ways it plays out and Bradur has 4 different devices to test) so they shouldn't always play out the same. I played through both of the variations of Adrienn's task today and had 0 issues with both. There should be dialogue before them where they explain why it's happening. If it just comes out of nowhere then there's something wrong or I didn't make the lines clear enough. I just checked and I accidentally left a testing line in that made them almost always occur even though they should only happen if you have screwed some stuff up a bit. I played a bit more on my old save from yesterday and also started a new save today and eventually stumbled upon the dialogue where they explain what's happening for both the no-cleaning and the hood. So I can confirm they do exist and trigger, but I am 100% certain that they didn't show up when my DB got these punishments for the first time yesterday. (Edit: I remember Rogdul just saying "Don't forget the hood" or something similar to Roselle and that was it) On 6/8/2026 at 1:59 AM, HereBeTentacles said: When you say they walk all the way around the corral before getting to thew outside stall, where exactly are they going? I adjusted the navmesh outside a bit but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't just walk straight there. Renna also didn't do anything weird when I was testing the intro again but I might have made that adjustment after I did that testing. I can undo it and see if that helps. Here's a screenshot that hopefully shows it clearly: Spoiler The yellow one is the direct path that Roselle is supposed to take and the red one is the path that she actually takes every morning. Interestingly enough, she actually did take the yellow path in the morning after my very first night sleeping outside, but every morning afterwards she took the long way around the corral. The only difference I noticed was that the gate to the outdoor stable was closed in the morning when she took the yellow path, and open whenever she took the red path. I didn't test that theory extensively but it might be a clue. I don't know nearly enough about Skyrim modding to say whether stuff like this can actually impact NPC pathing or not. No idea why that happens. I tested the pathing with a follower and they seemed to have trouble with it too. I think it has something to do with preferred pathing, since making the corral area normal navmesh instead of preferred navmesh is what broke it. Seems to be fine now that I put it back.
Zi3g Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Been eagerly waiting for this update and it was totally worth it! It's been fun to check out all of the new quests and little additions. I like the new requirement of presenting before trainers and overall QOL improvements to make it more immersive. Here are the few bugs that I noticed here and there as well as other things in no particular order: - The first time I got Bradur's freeroom quest, my DB was given the hybrid boots, but after testing it, he didn't unleash her even though the task said completed so I had to reload. I have yet to get that version again and the other boots had no issues. For the new bit, I found it confusing what order I was supposed to chose the responses in and I ended up reloading again before I failed the task. Was I supposed to match ones that sounded alike or just keep guessing till I got it? I could also just be overthinking it or I'm an idiot haha. - As other people have mentioned, freeroam quests stopped working after the first day. I thought maybe it was because getting the Ka'suna quest had glitched it out, but after going back to a previous save and doing Araund's deliveries within the ranch, it was still bugged. - Randomly getting the prompts of no bathing or being put into an outside stall were actually nice since I thought I'd have to be disobedient to get those (I like playing good first then misbehaving on another run). It was definitely jarring when my DB suddenly had a bag put on without any prior warning, but that's ok. The only bug I had with the outside stall was being unable to wait after waking up due to taking damage. Otherwise Roselle came to get my character after a little while and once my DB was teleported to the task area, I had the option to wait again. - The main issue I've come across has to do with the new plowing task. Like some people have stated, the plow doesn't always connect at first and I have to use the debug button to rehitch it. Otherwise it works great. The task itself is what I was looking forward to and I quite enjoyed seeing my DB get down and dirty. The problem started whenever I got the stuck plow "event". Not sure if I'm the only one having a hard time with it, but it's not clear how hard I should be tapping once the countdown ends. Fast enough to break the W key had Rogdul saying it was too much, but going any slower than that was not enough power either. Only once did it only take less than a handful of tries to get free. The worst part was the numerous times my DB would get caught in a loop of Rogdul counting down before she even hit the dirt, then getting shocked as she was standing up which would cause the animation to play again and repeat the scene over and over. All while I'm not even touching my keyboard or mouse btw. It has me so frustrated that I have yet to finish the task cuz every time I get about halfway done and end up restarting the day before I fail. If possible, could Rogdul be set to start his countdown until after the falling animation has played out? Even a few extra seconds of delay might make the difference. There might be some stuff I missed, but all in all it's still been fun to play. If I could have one small request, could you switch Vasha to Vengence? I always found it strange that she's not turned into a pony after the initial quests are completed like Dynasty. Of course, it's been awhile since I've played the intro so maybe I'm missing out by always hitting the skip to enslavement option in the mcm. If that's not the case, I figure she could be placed in the outside stall so that the DB has some company when she's put out there. The more ponies, the better! Keep up the great work, Tentacles!

I just looked and I did screw up the hybrid boots demonstration. Wrong function call that breaks it if you do it a certain way. Should be fixed now. For the depressor gag, and a lot of other mechanics in the mod the, idea is that you slowly figure them out through trial and error. None of them are super complicated (at least I don;t think they are but I also made them so I could be biased with my creator knowledge) Eventually there will be a hint system to give hints as to how exactly some things like that work. If you want to know exactly how the depressor gag works: Spoiler Whenever you talk to someone with the depressor on, the game picks three out of a possible twenty gagged dialogues you need to say to get your message across. It will then show you five dialogues, one of which is always one of the three correct options. If you pick the three correct ones you can talk, and if you get it wrong, you go back to the start. The three options you need to click don't change if you fail so if you screwed up on the last dialogue, you can quickly get back to it on the next try if you remembered what the first two correct ones you picked were, so theres a bit of a memory game going on there. I hope that makes sense. 43 minutes ago, Zi3g said: - As other people have mentioned, freeroam quests stopped working after the first day. There was a bug that was making them almost guaranteed to happen which I fixed. Even if you are perfectly behaved they will still happen, but they will be less common and there are alternate dialogues in that case that retheme them as adjustments rather than punishments. Like you noticed I forgot to edit the placeholder line he says when he puts the hood on you so he just kind of did it out of nowhere with no explanation, I fixed that. Also like you noticed there was some issues with the outside stall scenes due to some pathing issues. For some reason they were wandering way away from where they should have been going. Those are fixed for next version too. 48 minutes ago, Zi3g said: - The main issue I've come across has to do with the new plowing task. The cart not getting attached properly is something I can look at. Very finicky. I never had any issues with the countdown being off but I can look at that. There already is a delay but I can see if it needs to be longer. The stuck game is another one of those things like the depressor gag where the intention is you slowly figure it out through trial and error. Eventually you will get a feel for the average amount of taps you need to do. If you want to just skip that and know exactly how it works: Spoiler Amount of taps needed is always somewhere between two and eight inclusively. If you screw it up the number doesn't change so knowing that you should be able to figure it out in two or three tries usually. If you have ever taken a programming class then you can do something along the lines of binary search. 54 minutes ago, Zi3g said: There might be some stuff I missed, but all in all it's still been fun to play. And just like you said I was going to put Vengeance in one of the outside stalls to give the player a bit of an incentive to misbehave if they want to be able to (try to) talk to her at night. The night convos were probably where I was going to put some of the hints too. Again glad you enjoyed and thanks for the testing! 1
mr wolf Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) Is there a command to skip the quest to go through the gates ? i have hard time with it .. also how does the enchantment work where the dragonborn gets teleport back to the ranch ? Edited 9 hours ago by mr wolf

There's no way to do that right now other than to use the debug function to end the day. Not really recommended unless you are actually stuck and it will count as a fail anyway. The teleport back happens if you don't return to the corral before the time limit for the day. There's a warning about an hour before it happens. That's currently the only place it is used.
