Some people have said that disabling camera mods fixed it, although I am not sure if that is a coincidence or not. You can that and see if fixes anything.

The highstepping works by encumbering the player (to disable the ability to run or sprint) and then upping the players speedmult. If you have something that changes how encumbering works that might be the problem. Only covering the ones above, because other responses are almost perfect (if everything is perfect, there's no improvement, yes?) Pretty much posing as I stop moving (and if I remember right, most of the time the momentum of movement isn't even finished when I hit the button to pose), and holding the pose until the trainer speaks. It seems like "quickly," is "instantly," with no leeway (from observation and inability to get it right). I'll see if I can figure it out, but the feeling I get is "it's impossible for you to please me" from the trainer. That makes sense, but the way I was understanding it was different, so it could possibly do with a tweak in wording. My normal way of doing things (assuming this is correct) has been going the short way around (so for 4 and 5, going around the end of 5, and 1 and 2 go around the end of 1, with 3 being dependant on what's next), or what I believe is the short way around, but I'll keep that in mind for next time. My comment with YPS is definitely "support for," not "replace with," or as you said, soft requirement. I appreciate you looking into it, even if it goes nowhere. Off the top of my head, Roselle's greeting in the morning will bring up the normal conversation topics when finished, and closing out manually (tab) will then respond with "And no tugging" (I think that's her comment). Not the end of the world, but if a goodbye flag would help, then awesome! I know there are others, but I don't remember right now. I'll let you know when I come across them. Yeah, I think I have some tweaks that modify encumbrance (either changing weights, or fucking with encumbrance directly; not sure off the top of my head) for personal preference. It's not a big deal (because when I need to high-step, I'll usually manually switch to walking), but I just found it funny. Once I have a moment to sit down and do stuff (life has a habit of getting in the way) I'll see what I can do. Edit: (Not adding a new post when mine is the last one): Are there plans for breeding with the orcs? I know it's hinted at by Renna, and I've only done a few day sets (I think a maximum of 3 in a given save) so I'm not sure how much content I'm missing at the moment, compared to what's available, so figured I'd ask. There are plans with the orc stronghold like what is mentioned in the quests (when I first started this mod I couldn't decide between doing an orc-based slavery mod or a ponyplay mod) but there is nothing currently implemented. That will probably be a ways off. You can walk over there an look around but that side of the map isn't finished yet. Still WIP.

Next update should be the last one that 100% needs a new save. (Still might need one when major changes happen though.) I also made some custom-scripted penalty/trainign device, as well as added a couple minor punishent-style events. Then I took a bit of time away from the CK to try my hand at making a custom device for the mod, think it turned out pretty well: Spoiler 7

The yoke and the custom devices will get used in a couple places so no worries there. Spent too much time learning how to make them to have them no get used a lot. Not set in stone on the punishment system yet but even if the player is 100% perfect you can still see punishments and things like that, they just are a lot less common and get re-themed as extra training or preventative measures instead of punishments. I also want to make the tasks have some sort of scaling difficulty so that eventually it is not possible to always complete them. Next update is probably going to be sometime next month. Wanted to have it out this month but blender and then slay the spire 2 coming out have destroyed that plan. 2

NaenaeBree Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Is there a mod that overrides the high leg walking animation? or helps override any other walking animation to be the high leg animation? my pc sometimes starts walking with the high leg and then stops after a second or 2. it's not a game breaker and i reinstalled any mods that i thought conflicted with it but it still does it. just wondering if there are any animation replacers.

I know OAR has a dev console or event viewer or something of that sort that shows when an animation overwrites another. You may be able to turn it on and see what animation/mod is overriding the highstep animation, assuming that is what is going on. Anything with a higher priority could do it but I am not sure why it would only do it sometimes. I suppose there is also a chance you are just running out of stamina? It does require stamina to highstep, if you run out it will stop you and if you don't have at least 25% or something like that you can't even start.

I'm being weighted with 10,000, which prevents me from running, and I'm constantly getting electrocuted for being slow. I only progressed the quest further because I sped up my character through the console.

Maybe they're conflicting but I doubt that too. The animations for highstepping for my mod are the exact same ones that SLUTS uses, I just have a different mechanism (via OAR) to trigger them. If you can find out if its an OAR problem then you should be able to adjust the priority in the OAR menu and fix it that way without needing a patch. 1

I believe that Survival Mode also depletes stamina if you're over-encumbered as well.

This effect is visible in the character's magical effects section. I have a lot of mods, but I have no idea what exactly is reducing stamina speed and regeneration. But I want to say that stamina doesn't regenerate only while completing quests from your mod.

I looked and it seems I forgot to disable the truce effect between the player and enemies when that quest ends. Will be fixed for next version.
