gooser Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Foxyvixen, I think you mentioned doing this? I found the old messages here (although the logic is a little suspect): http://git.loverslab.com/foxyvixen21/sexlab-describe/raw/9b1c63b639730c2c829596398824c57bbbc6f518/Scripts/Source/SLdesc.psc
fiewiel Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I installed this mod and have the problem that there is very very seldom message to see in the top left corner. Like 1 out of 50 I see something. Is there a way to get more informations about my problem (debug options, logs something like this)? There is a ton of mods running beside describe and this here is the first mod where I see this problem. No problem with any other mods giving message lines. From sexlab mods I run: aroused, squirt, submit, random attack and zzzz (disabled, never started). Are there any known incompabilities? Im using describe 1.4 and sexlab 1.39
gooser Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 No known incompatibilities. Exactly what are you expecting in the top-left of the screen? How frequently are you expecting to see something? I need more information than what you have provided. 1 out of 50 of what? Sex animations? Just keep in the mind that the downloadable version of this mod is out of date, a new version is imminent. But I would like to know what you actually expect to see - what kinds of messages, for what events, how frequently, etc. Details please.
Grimbold the unlovely Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I think #3 is going to be easiest to add in. Looking at the old code base, Foxyvixen had added code paths for #2 but no real authored messages to glean. #3 however has unique messages which I will pull out and re-introduce into the code base. Music to my ears, since 3 (male pc, female partner) is what I most care about, but I also have a female lesbian player character. Even code paths would be enough if we can add or substitute our own texts. This is one of the two most anticipated mods right now (SE is the other). Many thanks to Gooser and foxyvixen.
pinky6225 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Sorry if this has already been reported (not seen it but i may have missed it) but i've noticed when you have text that begins with inserts you need a space between the NPC name and inserts since i was having it display SigurdInserts rather than Sigurd Inserts.
Earen Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Ha! Well Papyrus is a brutally awful language and I've been amazed what I've witnessed in other mods code. I mean, ONE looping construct? Feel free to snag any of it for JC examples although you probably can't post it to the nexus version! Ha but i can move them into the docs ^^ btw, i'm sure you know that, but be warned about trailing extra comas (there are few in text files), seems not every json parser likes them 9

Grimbold the unlovely Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 SE? Spouses Enhanced (like Describe/Apropos, a newer sexlab mod that takes sexlab to new limits)
foxyvixen21 Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Foxyvixen, I think you mentioned doing this? The logic for the others should be pretty close.
nutluck Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Cool to hear it is so close, so maybe if we are lucky we will have a new toy to play with for the weekend maybe?
foxyvixen21 Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 New version released on the front page, enjoy.
HMTSM Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Before i update a Little question: is sky gui now skse 1.7 compatible ? ... Last time i checked there were huge Errors in SkyUi. I do not want to mess up my whole game if i update skse.

gooser Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 No problems here using SKSE 1.7 with SkyUI. I'm pretty sure most of the mod devs are using it.
nutluck Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I have a question about the JC requirement. That page has no install information I am guessing you just use NMM to install it like any other mod but wanted to be sure before I do it. So is that the case? Or do you need to manually install it?
Carida Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Small question, is it fine to just update from the previous version? Or ... will my game implode? But since its a brand new game and I can just start another that's fine lol I just wanted to know. -C
fangdowns Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Yes, an update! Love you guys. Nice new pic gooser (though I'm sure you changed it days ago). And always liked the wolf girl.

A lot of the files have changed names.

Dallas-Arbiter Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I'm having a problem. Instead of a description, I get simply "None".
