Attention all yall racist Skyrim modders...

For all the unlove Morten's fro is getting, it really makes me want to make a spunky begoggled inventor character running on Dwemer tech. It's very Radical Edward to me. Turrets and robotic arms and pointless robotic pets sold separately. Now I have to see if any of that stuff actually exists...

Racism is a very bad card you played there in my opinion, because even as a joke (i prefer to believe it is one, than think you are actually serious), i still find this very offensive.

Probably one of the sexiest I've seen in some time.

I know, everyone is saying "JUST LET IT DIE!" and even the relevant topic has migrated away from hairstyles we don't feel whole without, but I was looking at Trykz's DwemFatale race and someone pulled up an awesome hair. I would LOVE to have this little baby:

Warning, NSFW:

And havokable it would be SOOO COOL.

I love this thread, for once OP was not a faggot and made me lol with a decent observation.

We need some froze.

Also i'd like to request a Mr.T mohawk type of fro.

OH LOOK AT ME, I HAVE NO SENSE OF HUMOR, SO I AM GOING TO TAKE EVERYTHING I SEE OFFENSIVELY AND FREAK OUT JUST BECAUSE I CAN'T TELL THAT WORDS ON A SCREEN ARE A JOKE.

....Seriously. What the Frak? Just..What? ..WHAT?

If you actually read his post, its massively obvious He's joking.

Its as funny as naming someone Wilbur Asskettle.

I knew Wilbur Asskettle. Wilbur Asskettle was a good friend of mine.

You, sir, are no Wilbur Asskettle.

in regards to the Titanic:

The cover claims this is the first picture of Michael Schumacher after his accident...

I think Niki Lauda actually sued them over this cover page ^^

And on to the actual thread:

I had a good laugh and I'm german and you all know we usually don't laugh, because we have no sense of humor ^^

BTW: that first picture in the WTF section blew my mind, that is the single most awesome hairdo ever

I suppose my post wasn't absurd enough to surpass the troll filter of some people.

dudes. . . ELABORATE SARCASTIC JOKE.

If you're that serious, then . . . hell I dunno. Just lighten up.

Read page 1 of responses. They are spot on. In Kind.

Sorry if you feel offended by my comment, but the title of the thread was the final straw.

It's the gimme gimme gimme attitude which pisses me off. As a modder you won't be asked 'Hey, what are you working on?', you only hear 'Can you do this?' 'Can you fix that?' 'Can you explain how to get it work (because I'm to lazy to read a short install guide nor I want to get a little knowledge about modding basics)?'. It takes too much time to reply those comments so you don't have any time left to reply positive ones(and no time for reading the whole pages of a thread, I just read the last one and thought wtf).

Modding is about sharing work not about selling a product. So be glad (not only you) that there are people who are willing to share their work.

And sarcasm is used to accuse something...

so you're telling me that I was covering up a serious desire with sarcasm.

Alright, so it destroys the comedy of the post that many people apparently got...

. . . but here's the truth Mr Party Pooper: I could not give a single shit less about afros. I had been watching some random youtube, realized there were no afros in skyrim, and thought oh maybe "it would be funny to pretend to rant about it".

As creator of this thread as well as having been the sole proprietor behind user support for many years for technical (albeit temporary) websites as well as other meat-space "endeavors" that I'm not going to list here, I'm well aware of "lazy users" . . . and you know what? I've found that "lazy users" are not so lazy at all when given effective instructions. Out of >50k downloads of HDT, I can count on 2 hands the number of times I've had to redirect a user to the install instructions . . . because I took great care to make sure that the path was clear and that the instructions were clear.

So if you have included instructions, and find that, as you said above, "lazy users" are asking you how to get your mods to work, then write better instructions.

Wow. I, for one, am disappointed you don't care about "fros", OP. Although I certainly got the humor in your post (though some failed horribly to sense it), I also sought a more textured crown of glory for my character. I started trying to figure out how to make a glorious "fro" and came across this very funny post.

What many fail to realize, I see, is that the "fro" is not a "modern" hairstyle. Though some push and prod it into a more dramatic shape, our hair literally grows out of our head like this. Gives a whole new meaning to "I woke up like dis"...but I digress.

The relaxed versions of hairstyles that many of us present to the world, and therefore are presented back to us in games such as Skyrim, are in fact, the modern styles.

Although "African Americans" don't exist in Skyrim, I've always enjoyed being able to reflect myself in modifiable characters and the best way to do that for me is to have a Redguard with a fro, twists, a twist out, some braids or an "updo". I'm more than willing to learn how to "do it myself" regardless of how difficult textured hair can be to create.

And I will watch out for torches...as well as helmet hair.

Oh, and as one commenter recognized, the one example of textured hair that so many people threw out there wasn't the bizniz. Though I commend the creator for trying, and for his/her other flawless creations.

I think afros would be rather difficult to do / emulate correctly. Afros have such a porous / aerated appeal that rendering it in a game would be a resource hog.

For example, look at this afro mod. Its' got the shape but doesn't have that depth / realism.
