I saw, in your UD patch, some of your devices have the "UD_PatchedDevice" keyword, and some others don't. Is this on pupose, or should none or all devices have this keyword ?

great mod but pleaaaseeeee add an option to sell the device rather than using speech perk or add other mod like latex shop or something or add other NPC that sell this

There are other mods that are non intrusive that helps you sell devices:

Laura from "Laura's Bondage shop" buys them outside Whiterun and "Devious Lore" introduces a jailmaster to every jail and they buy devices. (The Winterhold one is inside the tavern.)

There is also the Dollmaster in DCL, but that mod is very intrusive to gameplay and the shop is locked behind a tiresome quest.

Hi,

I am using your mod to see if it is a less intrusive cursed loot replacement.

I upgraded from the 0.83hotfix to 0.84, and now I get bugged by the debug menu popping up.

It seems related to the mouse wheel I use for zooming in/out.

Another thing, all sex animations initiated by this mod seems to be FF only, regardless of the actors gender.

 

Hope this helps refining the mod.

Yes, I see the same problematic behavior after upgrading from 0.8.3 hotfix to 0.8.4.

 

But I use a controller, not a mouse, so this problem is not due to the mouse wheel.

 

I see the menu pop up randomly (meaning not every time) in several different situations:

  • When pressing a button on the controller.
  • When opening and closing a menu.
  • When fast traveling.
  • Sometimes it even pops up on its own when I'm not doing anything.

Can't confirm. I've updated from 0.82 to 0.84, started a new game and don't see any of this.

(Yes, I'm aware that this doesn't help much, but debugging is a pain and every bit might help...)

Hi @cybercheese

 

I fiddled around with the MCM again and it's possible that I now have selected a correct set of options, although I can't be certain about that

 

Latest log showed the entries below for DCurses, and they covered both MF and FF encounters which ended up with appropriate animations.  So I suppose what I guessed was OK

 

FWIW, might it be worth adding some clarification on the Mod Filepage as to how these might best be set - or a pic of the MCM page?  Of course, if I have proved to be the only dork who couldn't get it right in the first place, you can save yourself the effort! 😆

 

Thanks for the mod though.  Despite my screw-up, It's really good and a lot of fun to play

I hadn't realised that 0.8.4 was a thing until I came here to ask about this issue, but given that the Mod's File Page update doesn't mention this - at least in a way that I might understand, and so it my be my naff knowledge - have you any idea why I am getting the following issues in my Papyrus log, in particular the ones below highlighted in yellow?  (Note: I included everything in this log that referred to your mod, not because there was any obvious direct relationship, but just in case any of the rest was relevant from your perspective) 

 

What I see in game, and in my log, (and I am assuming - a big assumption! - that these are related to this mod's initiating Sexlab animations as set/commanded by Devious Curses MCM settings, is that I am only served up 'offered' FF animations.  That can be seen in that when the Player/NPC are checked with SexLab Tools when in copulatory action, that shows taht ONLY FF animations are being used, or indeed, even can be selected.  Those served upshow that, in particular, only Billy's Lesbian DD anims are available, despite the male NPC taking on the dominant role, with the male being the FF, in an otherwise FF animation - obviously the player PC then becomes the FF 'victim' in the activity

 

Now, this may just be my failure to understand the MCM 'SEX' tab, so I may have set the MCM 'Sex' tab options wrongly - but I have tried 2 or 3 possible options, incl checking the Male & Female only selectors in various combos, and those variations don't seem to make any difference.

 

If this is something you recognise, and it's really all just my fault for being too dumb to understand what the MCM should be set at, any chance of some help on that?  eg, a Screenshot of the MCM's SEX tab settings?

 

Or is there anything else I, or even you, might want to look at?

I had living latex equipped and when it tried equipping more devices it caused my game to crash and in the crashlog it pointed towards devious devices NG and devious curses

 

*edit* I was at whiterun watch tower killing the dragon

I heard there is an incompatability if the bound bow spell, when latex expands. Are you using bound bow? If yes, simply use a normal bow when latex is about to expand.

Question regarding the "Use Location Modifier" checkbox option in the "Locations" section in MCM.

So what do the mod exactly do when this option is unchecked?
The tooltip says "Whether or not to apply the location modifier listed below to event chances"... so it mean if this option is unchecked(toggled off), the custom modifier set on this MCM section shouldn't matter.
But from my testing, these custom modifiers still matter even if "Use Location Modifier" is unchecked(toggled off).

Here is an example.
I have a base event trigger rate set to 100%, with Container modifier set to 1.0x, Minimum Gold 0, and Minimum Arousal 0.
-- That should ensure I always trigger events everytime I open a container.
Then I go to MCM > Locations > Toggle Off Location Modifier Usage
-- In theory, this should prevent any changes even if I modify any value in this location modifier section. But that is not actually the case.
I change the city modifier (which is where I am at, Solitude) to 0.0x = Event stops triggering. And it starts triggering again when I set it to be >0.0x
That shouldn't have been what happen because location modifier are suppose to not matter if this setting is toggled off.

So is this intended behavior?
Because it doesn't align with what the tooltip says this option will do.
I actually recorded an example footage of my demonstration for this query, but I dont see options to upload the video on this comment 😭

This was tested on Skyrim AE 1.6.1179 GOG.

Wasnt using bound bow, removed this mod and devious devices NG and my game is stable now, no crashes on save for 3+ hours

This was not on purpose, most likely due to using different versions of the synthesis patcher. I will update the UD file to address this.

As others have mentioned, I highly recommend laura's bondage shop for this. It is fairly light weight and you don't have to interact with any of it's quest content if you don't want to.

Because it's skyrim, updating any mods that have an esp or scripts can cause issues. However I try as hard as possible to make it as safe as possible to do so. The only real issue is if the MCM decides to break, for which there are instructions on the main page for how to fix it.

I replaced my code to detect key presses so that I'm not using a papyrus hook, and I accidentally forgot to check the input device. This issue will be fixed soon.

@DonQuiWho I did read through your issue, and I will add some clarification on the mod page. I'm also adding a setting to remove the built-in animation filtering for those who don't want it.

Thanks for mentioning this, I somehow managed to completely fuck this up when I did my last location rework and the setting has had no effect. *facepalm*
What it should have done is if that setting is unchecked, all the location modifiers would be treated as a 1.0 multiplier instead of what they were set as.

Thinking about it more, I might remove that setting as it is not intuitive as you mentioned and it would allow events to happen in cities, which I don't think most players want.

I might also adjust the default chances so they are a bit closer together, instead of things like apocrypha having a 2x curse chance by default.

Just did a quick conversion for BHUNPv4 

 

Only includes the one body, hands, and feet. I did some quick testing and it seems fine on my end

 

removed most Zaps and only included removing the Breast, Chest, and Pubic areas.

Hi,
I have been trying to test this mod installed. But each time i start a new Game, Skyrim freezes.

i do have all the requirements and their requirements as well
Any hints on what might be wrong?

i am on Skyrim AE 1.6.1170

Had started new game and enabled LewdMarks after DC and now MCM options for LM are grey, mod dont see it.

Moved LM esp before DC, clean and relaunch DC, no result. What to do?

Ah yup, that was it! Outdated version of OSLaroused. Updated to the newest version and have been able to drink the potion.

The detection for lewd marks just depends on them being recognized by SlaveTats NG. My best guess is that the SlaveTats NG json cache is not being updated correctly as you enabled them after starting a new game. It should update automatically on newer versions of SlaveTats NG, so updating that might fix your problem.

Otherwise you can install SlaveTats NG with the old SlaveTats to use the MCM which has an option to update the cache as well.
