I have the dll file for NX19 installed in the folder, but while in game, I keep getting the notification that SCR requires 19 while i have 18. anyone have any idea whats up?

as I know NX 19 archive is bundled incorrectly, dll should be placed in Data/nvse/plugins folder

how do I install it correctly I do not understand

the DLL file should go to <game folder of Fallout New Vegas>\data\NVSE\Plugins.  If any of the folders don't exist yet, create them

version 19 is packaged incorrectly. make sure the dll-file goes to <gamefolder>\data\NVSE\plugins

Here is the new version of NVSE extender (v.20):

nvse_extenderV20_Source.zipnvse_extenderV20.zip

You don't need the source file, just:

- Remove any version of nvse_extender

- Install nvse_extenderV20.zip with your mod manager (or manual install in Data\nvse\plugins)

(I tested this version and didn't notice any problems, but it would be great if you could test it too, to confirm that it is possible to work from this version.)

What does this version bring compared to v.19?

Spoiler

It doesn't bring any additionals features. The project has just been migrated to VS2022 (v17.13.5) buid tool V143 and also uses the latest NVSE libraries (6.3.10b). All errors caused by the migration of the project and libraries update have been fixed.
The project now compiles without errors or warnings, allowing anyone to get the source file and tinker with it if they feel like it.

Yes you have to put the nvse_extender.dll in DATA/NVSE/Plugin as there is no path in the v.19 zip file

Please note that if you use SexoutNG 2.10.98 beta 4 or 2.11.2 beta5 or SOFA you don't need to download and install manually this dll as it already include with a correct path

i need some help plssss.

How do I install NVSE NX v19??? It is not in "fomod" format and when I put it in the root folder of my FNV, FOMM does not recognize it and sends me a message indicating that there is no NX installed. So please, if anyone can help, I will be grateful ;)

p.s.: I have a problem with my MCM, my game cannot recognize/install it and displays the following message: "The Mod Configuration Menu Cannot Acess the its menu files. Either the files are missing, an error has occurred with the NVSE plugin, or a firewall/UAC is preventing acess..."

I've already tried to mark the "read-only" step and it didn't work. If anyone has an apparent solution for this, I'd also be grateful to anyone who can solve it.

NX NVSE v.19 need to be installed manually

You have to extract the nvse_extenderV19.zip and copy/past nvse_extender.dll in Data/NVSE/Plugins

Regarding MCM you may not have installed NVSE properly either, but not sure as I don't think MCM require NVSE

NVSE also require a manual instalation too, meaning you need to copy/paste files directly in your game folder (same location that FalloutNV.exe) except for the nvse_config.ini that you need to copy/paste in Data/NVSE
