Some AE mods work with only the AE Patch, others work with the AE Upgrade and the same goes for SE mods.

 

Ibought the anniversary edition on my computer like... 2 weeks ago. So I guess whatever is the most recent. I got the bundle so I didnt have the special edition before that.

So, you're new? I'll just assume yes.

Well, just follow what I said. Looking for mods for AE? They're under the Special Edition Forum, same goes for Nexus Mods. (because AE is SE wearing a shiny hat and a bad mustache).

Just make sure to actually read mod pages, because some aren't updated for AE.

I installed the SE version but it still wouldnt work. I tried having both the regular and se versions together but that also didnt work. Idk what the issue is. Im gonna try reinstalling but im stumped. Like everything is registered. The mcm menu is there, I have simple slavery and it registers SD+, but for some reason the quest wont begin. Is there something else specific I have to do besides a night to remember to get it to trigger? Thank you.

As you have the Full AE Upgrade it might not work, I have no idea if there is a specific version or Patch for AE yet.

 

But, let's assume you have all of the requirements and installed them correctly (Sexlab Dialogues is essential for Enslavement) and have them in the correct Load Order.

To see if the mod is active at all you can turn the chance of a Dreamworld Visit to 100% in the MCM and then sleep in a bed or go to Sanguine's Shrine and sleep in front of the statue (if it is present). I don't remember specifically where the door to the shrine is under Honninbrew Meadery but it's in that area. It might be under the bridge but you can also check github for tips.

I got it! I had forgotten sexlab dialogue. It worked now. I still havent played through the quest(just started) but I will update if theres any issues

When enslaved by follower (hired or not), and after some time SD master is going somewere to sell me, this person is deleted from game completely after i am released or master changed.

This happens at fast travel, not at changing location by door.

What is wrong? And how i can be enslaved by follower or other chosen person and not lost it in future?

Sounds kind of like same problem as OP above. You have Sexlab Dialogues and a mod that actually allows you to be sold? Like Simple Slavery? Because otherwise the NPC would obviously have nowhere to go and get wonky. Idk, could be a conflict.

No, problem still exist. Only few times all was ok. Most of times previous master exist in game, but is invisible and cannot be interacted.

I have all base mods including SLDialogs and SS. All other slavery mods work fine.

And SD+ works fine, but earlier i had not unique persons as masters, so did not saw this feature, dont know if it happens with generic npcs.

@donttouchmethere gave a very detailed answer.

 

Some tips I can think of (I am not using SL Defeat or Death Alternative anymore):

 

- Make sure you register the quests in DA so it will know about the SD quests to trigger

- Update the percent values for these quests in the DA menu to give them higher priority if you want

- In Defeat, I used to bump the Health Buffer to 600X to give DA a chance to trigger which you are in bleedout animation from Defeat

I adapted the code from a simpler mod that only added crawling animations.

It took some time to make it work as I recall.

Not sure how much of that you can adapt to Fallout.

The first thing I would do is see if Fallout has a simple crawling mod as well and study the code of that mod.

Keep in mind that if you are using the SE beta version, anything after the first time the mod gives you a choice is still in early stages of development and still not finished. 

 

Finishing that quest is my priority at the moment as soon as my work gives me back some personal time to work on it.

All of the files under the SE Beta Testing download page should work with both AE and SE versions.

I am using the latest SE version (with is the same as AE but without the additional mods AE brings in).

That can happen mostly with generic NPCs as the game can make them respawn and vanish without warning.

 

I would advise against Fast travel when enslaved as it messes up the time tracking system and can mark you as escaped without warning.

I dont know about generic npcs as i didnot checked them. Encountered this only when enslaved by followers(following or not) becouse had tried to find them again later.

This happens at Fast travel, but not when enslaved by them, it happens only after taken by new master, and new master is ok with Fast travel.

Will just be carefull to not be enslaved by persons that i like to see ingame in future.

To be clear, making NPCs or owners vanish is not part of SD+

If they do, it could be either a bug or most likely a conflict between multiple mods.

 

If the NPC vanishes but is still around and invisible, check out which version of HDT SMP you are using if any. Some versions are making NPCs who are wearing certain gear or hair invisible. I had that happen to Serana once.

 

If the NPC is stuck somewhere while you have moved on with Fast Travel, you can try going back to the owner using the Home or End key (two keys configurable in SD+ menu). One will teleport you straight to the master's last location and the other does something similar but I can't remember what.

I really like this mod. i've played with the "old" version for LE, some years ago.

 Here, i have a trouble in the SE version.

I'm at the point of the Truth quest when i have to bring the book Mytic Down Commentaries 3. I have the book in my inventory, but when i talk to the "scribe", in his cage, there is nothing about this... I've tried again... and again... so, any idea ? Or maybe the Setstage of the quest ? I don't know how i can find the ID of a quest on the game... And i really don't understand why i don't have the option of talking about the book as i have it !

What is the quest stage in your journal at that point in the quest?

 

I don't remember adding the Mythic Dawn Commentaries to the quest but that could be something I added in the unfinished part of the quest and I forgot about it.

I took a picture of the quest so you can see.

I've already talked to scholars about the Truth, and Crassius has sent me to Solitude (and i've finished Sheogorath quest and came back to Crassius with the daedric artefact.  I've been able to say to him that i have it. After that, there it is : the new task of finding this book...

And i have it in my inventory... But i can only talk about now with Crassius are always the "old" questions, even asking him who he is even if i already know !

 

And about  the journal, how may i find it ? I'm sorry, i've never looked for this before.

I see that it is not written  that i talked to the scholar about the Truth and went to solitude and found Sheogorath artefact.

(Just for the fun : i laughed when i saw that i could take Sanguine as follower and even wearing an Amulet of Mara ... My sexy androgynous wood elf is engaged to Sanguine... This is so funny...)

Ok.. I wanted to make sure.

This is as far as the quest goes so far. It is normal Crassius or Sanguine do not react to the book in your inventory yet.

I started working on the end of the quest last year and got derailed by drama at work and never got back to it.

I am hoping to find the time to finish it this summer.

Oh ok !!! i see !! I'm sorry for you. I hope things are going better now.

I will wait so and maybe testing the others ways of the scenario !

I think there is a bug when Meeko is your follower. Every time I approach him the Master dialogue pop-up shows up. I have to click exit to get out of it. And after that he tries to overpower the player like every dog when he gets to close which is equally annoying^^

Isn't that an issue with most creature followers?

Now I have to try that again ^^

Meeko is the only one i have right now. Aside from him there are only the Dawnguard/vampire dogs in LE.

It is an issue with all creature follower.

If you have a creature follower you should really disable the Creature option in  SL Dialogues.

Considering Creature followers come with their own menu anyway. maybe I could just exclude them from the Dialogues menu altogether by default.

You mean the vanilla creature followers? Sounds so easy if you write it like that.

I thought about custom creature followers. I can't remember how they reacted over one year ago with SL dialogues.

Just now found my mod backup HDD again, lets see how that goes.

 

What about creature summons? Could it be that they also get registered for SL dialogue creature approach?
