I thought about custom creature followers. I can't remember how they reacted over one year ago with SL dialogues.

Just now found my mod backup HDD again, lets see how that goes.

 

What about creature summons? Could it be that they also get registered for SL dialogue creature approach?

 

I meant blocking anyone in the Player Followers faction from that custom popup menu.

 

Creature summons wouldn't be affected I think.. having them try to hump the player looks more like a feature than a bug to me. Summoning shouldn't be without its risks.

Is there any conceiveable way to remove the chaurus neck brace? Everything esle seems to be removed by either tha blacksmiths or court wizards, but not this thing. The court wizards sure take my money, but do absolutely nothing. :D

I adapted the code from a simpler mod that only added crawling animations.

It took some time to make it work as I recall.

Not sure how much of that you can adapt to Fallout.

The first thing I would do is see if Fallout has a simple crawling mod as well and study the code of that mod.

 

 

 

Fallout 4 does have a crawling mod but its just a sneak replacer I am hoping to use the automatic system you implement and try to pack port it to my mod basicly i want to do a animation replacer via a global variable rather then just replace the animation forever just while the global variable is 1

Hmm, when enslaved are bandits supposed to be hostile to your owner? Makes certain scenes incredibly hard. Particularly with cages, but I dont really know what is causing it or if its intended. If intended, i've only been able to get along using kill command. Cuz the ai just cant figure out how to get to eachother. Which I mean, that's just skyrim in a nutshell haha. Come to think of it, it could also be that simple slavery just simply assigned the owner to no faction? Or perhaps a faction not related to bandits. Maybe that's what makes the big difference. Don't know.

The owner also doesnt seem to wanna move until night time sometimes. Like she doesn't bother to follow me well. She walks and stops over and over  and occasionnaly i'll get a huge lag spike for 1 second. Not entirely sure what is going on. Perhaps script overload i'd imagine. Probably nothing that can be done about beyond, well. Uninstalling a bunch of mods probably.

When enslaved, message says that I'm collared and chained, but none of the devices are equipped.

Also when  I try to escape, the owner never chase me.

Is there any solution to fix these issues?

Faction conflicts are impossible to avoid in Skyrim, especially as the number of mods multiply.

Even with plain Skyrim, some bandits leaders have different factions than their gang, and the slightest change to their faction makes the gang members attack their leader.

 

I tried to reduce that by making every owner part of the Bandits faction by default but that introduced other problems. 

I just don't know how to fix that issue at the moment.

Looks like the mod didn't start properly.

Did you save and reload after first enabling it?

Yet again, I started "The truth" just by doing the thieves guild quests... I haven't visited the dreamworl befor ever. It would be great if the truth couldn't trigger by proximity no matter how far you are in the mod.

Did it start when you came across Sanguine's altar under the meadery?

 

What were you doing when it happened?

Did you try doing anything special like sleep in front of it? or did it just happen?

This is as far as the quest goes so far. It is normal Crassius or Sanguine do not react to the book in your inventory yet.

I started working on the end of the quest last year and got derailed by drama at work and never got back to it.

I am hoping to find the time to finish it this summer.

 

 

Ah, okay, ran into the same thing, though I couldn't do the quest to get the blade (because the jerk for some reason attacked me in town and the guards murdered him), so I had to manually progress the quest past his involvement.  Either way, guess I'll wait on that as well.

That is exactly what I tried to say^^ The thieves guild quest brings you there. I just walked pass it.

It brings you there but as long as you don’t sleep on the bed it should not start the quest for you.

It showed up in my quest list and says I should sleep in the bed infront of the altar.

ok . That’s a big then. I will look into the trigger for the altar. It should only trigger if you are at the right quest stage.

Great. Btw how do I get out of sanguines spectral devices after visiting the dreamworld for the first time?

They are on a random timer. If they get stuck, you get another chance to get rid of them next time you go to Sanguine’s Dreamworld.

I'm playing on Anniversary Edition and having missing texture issues with several (maybe all) meshes from the directory _sd_\shrine

 

Just in the opening area of the Sanguine dreamworld...

     _sd_\shrine\bridge2way.nif

     _sd_\shrine\entrance.nif

     _sd_\shrine\brazier.nif

     _sd_\shrine\well.nif

 

I opened these meshes up in nifskope to see what textures they wanted.  They're looking for... (not a full list)

     textures\sheogorad\daedric\Floor.dds

     textures\sheogorad\daedric\Metal03.dds

     textures\sheogorad\daedric\StoneWall.dds

     textures\sheogorad\daedric\Strip.dds

     textures\sheogorad\daedric\wall01.dds

etc.

 

This sheogorad\daedric directory doesn't seem to be included in SDResources20230410a.7z

     I did track these textures down on the nexus though : Phitt's Sheogorad and David Brasher's Dwemer Upscaled Textures

 

This exact bridge mesh has no texture in my game (texture image from nexus mod above).

Maybe I'm being dumb and there's a 2nd SDResource file somewhere, but between the files being on the LE page, and/or on the SSE page with numerous other mods, it's not simple to find.

 

EDIT: Turns out the sheogorad\daedric directory is included in the SDResources20210731.7z (from the LE page, which I assumed was outdated)

 

Still, probably need to add these textures to the SSE SDResources archive.

Not really a bug but more of an incompatibility report, I have had the same issue someone back a few pages was having; Kneel + crawling states animation not working due after nemesis execution. Someone mentioned on that post that this is possibly due to an idle animation incompatibility. However if i just use FNIS kneel + crawling works, with all my idle replacers, OAR installed etc. Its only when after I run nemesis that the crawling + kneeling breaks. I tried looking around the nemesis output for any references to SD or kneeling but couldnt find anything. Is there a potential workaround?

Its not the end of the world but thought it might be helpful to diagnose the core issue.

Is Sanguine supposed to enslave me when I enter the dream world for the first time? Fettching his mead is fine but becoming a full slave and loosing everything is a bit much.

Going to be honest, I have no idea what is going on in this mod. I don't have Death Alternative (using Naked Defeat) so I triggered the enslavement with the SD+ hotkey. PC gets enslaved, says it's putting a collar and some other stuff on but only the collar is applied. Got spammed with a bunch of messages about submit/resist and it triggered one scene. Am I supposed to be able to just run around freely? No arm/leg restraints? All of my weapons were taken but rest of the inventory remains intact. I ran away from Rorikstead to Whiterun and Owner didn't chase me. Went back and they didn't seem to care either. When I talk to Owner most of the Please options are rejected, or punished with sex. At the end of day 1, it says the gold amount for release is about 700. Next day I gave the owner thousands worth of jewelry, armor and soul gems. End of day 2 it says the gold amount for release is 1100. How did this possibly go up?? What about the stuff that I gave? Owner decided to go for a walk so I followed. Asked where and Owner said to be sold. Halfway down the road to the fort and then they just stop and decide to stand there. Talked to them, waited several days ingame, then Owner just walked back to their original location. Even if I give them thousands of gold worth of stuff and get 10 slave points, talk to them and enterain them when asked... the day finishes and it still says Slave level 1 and disposition is in the negative... and it always also says day 1, never advances.

 

On top of that, I never get sent to Sanguine. I tried sleeping at night but the owner rejects it. Went to a bed and slept anyway and it was just a normal sleep. I already completed the Sanguine questline and got the staff before installing the mod, is that a problem?

Is SD considered "finished"? I haven't update to this version yet because MO2 is being super retarded & broke animations, I just want to fix them properly.

Anyways, I'm here because I have some question/suggestion. Is it possible to change the word "Owner" from the MCM? Sometimes I feel the dialogue lacks the oppressiveness, at least master/mistress has that going for it. I know you want to keep it neutral because it's easier for everyone, but I always find it dry.  At least if it's customizable, that would also achieve the same solution.

After beeing freed from sanguines slavery during the first visit and removing all DDs he put on my magica regeneration is still blocked. There is no active effect listed but somehow it doesn't regenerate.

Welcome to the mystery that is SD+  :smile:

 

I'm just waiting for @DeepBlueFrog to update it, as I just can't make heads nor tails of what is going on either

 

The very very old LE versions made a bit more sense, but the Sanguine interaction, when you get to him, always feels surreal, as does most of the rest of the gameplay, TBH

 

I always ended up trying to get the owner killed somehow ...bears and sabre tigers are your best friends there... to bring things to en end
