Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

Okay,  now my character's owner had a Relationship rank of 0 - which is expected. BUT  when said owner died that Relationship rank suddenly became 4. This results in a courier being dispatched with a "Letter of Inheritance". Humorous perhaps but kind of un-immersive. Is there a way to prevent this?

this is not beast race combatable. just tried this as a khajiit, it removed the tail and gave me a human body, the mask, give my khajiit head a creepy look. the chaurus head could be a bit bigger, also it disappears when I zoomed in and reappears when zoomed out

Also to clarify, the dumbness is not the mod xD, I am pretty sure it is that thing between the chair and the screen.

That usually points at the wrong version of Devious Devices.

The current supported version is 5.1.

If you are using 5.2, it could be some devices were changed, but I haven't heard anything about that yet.

In older vesions of this mod there were a dialogue option after release which allowed you to become slave again. Something like "Master, I want to be slave again". But it seems not to function properly, 'cause after that there was nothing happening.

So I wanted to ask, is this option still presented in this mod, and how can I trigger that?

I'm a little new to posting/asking for help on this forum, so sorry in advance if I don't provide enough info! I'm playing with the SSE version from the conversion thread, but every time the owner goes to bind the player's hands, the game immediately CTDs. The Enslavement scenario runs without any issues if the owner doesn't try to bind the player's hands. I've had SD+ installed on two different saves, and it's done this to me on both, so I'm assuming I may have a conflicting mod issue, but from my searching in the forum I didn't find any topics that had similar issues, so I'm not sure where to begin. I thought at first that it was combat-specific and the game was just trying to run too many scenarios at once, but it recently happened via the manual surrender option with no combat having happened beforehand. 

 

I have a few other DD-dependent mods (Lore, Helpless, Followers Continued, Enchanted Chests), but those have been able to run events that bind the player's hands without an issue. Is there a mod conflict that's already known to potentially cause this issue, or Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? 

 

Edit: In doing some further testing, it seems like if I keep the console open when the notification suggests to, the player can be bound without CTDing, but I've only succeeded in this once. Would still be interested to know if there are any common conflicts I should be on the lookout for. Thanks in advance!!

First, thank you very much for this mod, it adds a whole new dimension to gameplay. Have been enjoying it for a while. 

 

A question about creature masters. As far as I understand, creature masters require food and sex only. This is apparently reflected in the interaction menu where for example gold is not available to be given to creature masters. Upon daily update however, the papyrus log shows that just like human masters they do seem to require all four: sex, punishment, food, and gold. So, it appears that only two goals (sex and food) out of four can be achieved, resulting in constantly low disposition, which at daily update is reset even lower and is basically always -10. I have not been able to raise that. Creature masters also never seem to punish the PC, it’s basically sex only for whatever mischief you do but sex doesn’t seem to be counted as punishment by the mod. Is this normal behavior, or am I missing something, or am I simply wrong? Must be one of these three

How am I supposed to kneel and speak with the owner? I can use crouching as kneeling but than I can't talk, only steal from him. Is there a pose I'm missing?

Once enslaved, you can use the up and down arrows to change your posture and go from standing, to crawling to kneeling and back.

If the keys are not working, another mod may be using them. You can configure them in the SD Menu.

So I got enslaved and after a while the owner got angry because the player wears no collar. There was a short error message but I couldn't see it fast enough. I use DD 5.1 . What is wrong?

It was something like "no override found - aborting device"

I have been using 5.2 for my tests for a while and so far, everything is working just as 5.1

 

Just make sure you have the right version - get the SE version of Devious Device and SD+ if you are using SE for Skyrim.

I use LE versions of both mods. What exactly is my error message meaning? Did I make a mistake during installation or overwrote something in the wrong order?

That message can happen if your owner is of a custom race or falls in a category I didn't anticipated when I assigned devices to potential owners.

 

Who was the owner? someone I can test in my game?

Is it normal that followers return by themselves once you free yourself? I got free and fasttravelled to the next city and a follower that was sold of just waited there for me as nothing ever happened.
