Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

When you say "don't care about DA"... that's mean that if you USE DA with SD+ you can just upgrade and don't need a new game... or the very opposite?

I mean if you want to drop DA, you don't need a new save game.

If you want to keep DA, first try to disable all SD related triggers in DA's menu BEFORE upgrading. That may resolve issues with the upgrade.

The problem is that, if you don't turn off these scenarions before the upgrade, they are still baked into your save game and active!, with no way to turn them off.

Can i ask if the issue with not being able to select dialogue with the master is fixed before i load up the new version? Last time i was trying SD+ out, the dialogue for the master was displaying but often i couldn't select it except be restarting the game multiple times and hoping for the best each time. It seemed like script lag to me so i'm hoping it's fixed now?  ;)

I keep running into that issue mostly with creature masters (like Falmers) and I still don't know what is causing it,

I do know that it goes away after waiting a few hours in-game.

I just tested the new version briefly. It runs quite well without DA! In fact i think it's faster now but that may be just me imagining it.

Anyways! I've only run into one issue so far: the armbinder kneeling toggle doesn't seem to work. My character uses the kneeling idle even when the option is turned off.

Was it a leather armbinder or cuffs from zap?

Kneeling only works with iron cuffs (also labeled as armbinders for DD). You an only stand with a leather armbinder on.

It gave me a black armbinder and the character's arms were poking through it when the kneeling idle was playing, so I suspected they weren't meant for armbinders.

Are you using your own armbinder or a generic one from DD? If it's a custom one maybe it's not keyworded correctly?

If it's relevant, I triggered the enslavement using CCAS (the wandering orc scenario). It dropped me somewhere in the whiterun hold, then after a few seconds the orc enslaved me and I got leather arms and legs cuffs, a leather armbinder and a ring gag. And then as soon as I came close to the orc, my character started kneeling.

Kinda confused, how does SD+ handle slavery from losing combat without DA?

Have no particular love for DA but i thought the reason for the requirement being added ye long time ago was to save writing that into SD+

That's odd.

There shouldn't be any kneeling with black armbinders on.

I will have to test that scenario from CCAS and see if I can reproduce the issue.

Simple.. SD doesn't handle slavery from losing combat without DA.

If that can help, I posted a breakdown one page up:

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24042-sd-sanguine-debauchery-enhanced-2016-11-15/?p=1736678

You can also find it on the page about DA on the wiki in github.

The Orc master currently uses two modevents - the enslavement, and the "start walking" modevent.

playerref.MoveTo(ccas_startmarker_orcslave)
ccas_orcslaver.sendModEvent("PCSubEnslave")
ccas_orcslaver.sendmodevent("PCSubMasterTravel", "Start")

Is it possible that triggering the master travel somehow overrides the kneeling setting?

Also, I've been meaning to look into the "dependency-free" Death Alternative function for a while now. Have you looked at that, maybe as an optional if-you-have-it-it-will-happen thing?

Has anyone found a way to manually remove the "Spriggan Host Body" (the quest glitched)?

I can remove the "scriptinstance" item, but trying to remove the "inventory" item (via console, container or dropping) places them both back in my inventory and automatically reequips the "scriptinstance" item.

I'm going to take another look at it in the editor and see if i can find a workaround.

EDIT:

I had to use the editor to change its properties to get it off. Just giving myself the proper key wasn't working because there was no option to actually use the key. Anyways, if anyone has a simpler method, please share.

Cool, new version :) Have been looking forward to it ^^

Oh, and I used the tool I posted about here to make a patch from the 3.5.2 file to 3.5.3a :

attachicon.gifSDPlus35-patch-2-3a.7z

I guess I don't understand what the purpose is of such a patch? If I understand correctly, xdelta finds the differences between two binary files and makes a "patch" for the old one that includes the new data, yes?

In the case of SD+, when you can simply overwrite the old version with the new version, why bother with a patch? Am I missing something obvious?

Smaller downloads for people with slow connections I suppose?

Ah, that makes sense.

Yes, it's primarily for saving on data transfer. Both for hosting site and for users :)

Long term idea is to automate it if it works well overall. And some mods it produces extremely small patches.

Like for example Immersive Armors 7.1 to 8 was 150kb, and the mod file itself is close to 1gb 7zipped.

Other mods the patch produced is near the same size as the mod itself, making it pretty useless.

Edit: But yeah, the idea is to only distribute changes, since many that are interested in a mod's updated version already have most of the data.

Where does your gear go when you get captured? I thought that all of my gear was supposed to go to the npc that captured me but when I finally kill the master they don't have any my gear.

Edit: NVM restarted from a new game and it works. not sure what I broke.

Also thanks for removing DA a requirement.

This version is working really well. A couple of comments/ potential bug reports;

1: When you use the surrender button, it starts a surrender event, but after about ten seconds of running about it hasn't begun. However, when I get struck, it interrupts the event and says "your owner defeated you" or something like that. I'm using Defeat. I'm not sure if it's supposed to work this way or it is connected to defeat so I figured I'd mention it.

2: It seems like there's no way to give the owner gold? He takes it occasionally but I've had days were it didn't happen so the slave level didn't really increase.

3: I'm using PCEA2 and I'm using one of the pretty idles for character stance (standing, not in combat pose). It seems like after you're enslaved, the character is switching back and forth between generic stance and the PCEA2 chosen stance. Like literally every 2 seconds.

Normally I would think I'd be seeing this when character is in an armbinder or cuffs, but it is happening even when you're not. So something is not interacting properly with PCEA2.

Otherwise, so far so good. :)

For 1- Script lag is an issue. One way to reduce it is to open the console as soon as the enslavement sequence starts. That will let enslavement initialize properly while stopping the rest of the game.

For 2- Your owner should take away your gold automatically when you give him/her gifts. Gags seem to be interfering with inventory/gifts so make sure you don't have one when you give something to your owner.

For 3- Make sure you have the latest version of Devious Devices Assets and Devious Devices Integration. That should help with PCEA2 and  FNIS issues.

The automatic removal of gold doesn't seem to be working and I have the latest versions of DDi & Devious Devices Expansion & Devious Devices Integration.

Once the enslavement ends, the PCEA2 issue ceases to happen and all movement and idles work properly.

I could give you a papyrus but I wasn't sure if that would help in this situation?

Hi skyrimll,

Thank you so much for the massive round of new updates to your fantastic mods! I spent a little time with the latest SD+ last night and I found it to be the best version yet. It runs very smooth for me (played it with DA one time, but also used the submit key on two attackers to see what happened. All worked well.)

I may have encountered a bug (or maybe this too is working as expected?) It seems that my char is stuck at "you are mostly defiant (0)" after a couple of weeks with two masters. I think that the value was changing at the very beginning of the enslavement -- certainly the beg/insult replies availability changed during that time. I used the resist button quite a lot for a bit then, and now no matter for how many days I use only "submit" and "plea" and "may I", my char remains "mostly defiant". Shouldn't the value change to being more submissive in that case, or am I misunderstanding how this part of the mod works?

Or is it possible that I broke something by being too roleplay-y? For instance, I was tired of being stuck in that one cave and coc-commanded myself to a much nicer one  , then ported the master with a moveto-player command. Are such things ill-advised with this mod?

I have CTD when my character enters blackout. I have DA and SD+ options set to recommended (essential player, registered quests, didn't change any quest weights).

I have to say this mod is amazing concept but I have never gotten it to work properly. I have DEFEAT mod but I have completely disabled it so as to use DA as told by the guide. When I black out the game crashes, instead of loading a SD event. Also when I go into bleedout mode, there is no SD dialogue, enemies keep attacking.

Below are all 3 logs that I found.

I looked at the end and saw something referencing a unknown object in a call to SD related event?

Thank you for your help. First time asking for support here. Again amazing mod, would love to get it to work.

Do you need screenshots of my DA setup page? Would that help? Let me know.

I don't know if you got an answer to this, so I thought I'd post:

I'm using version 353a with DA and Defeat on a new game.  The MCM menu showed up and other mods recognized that SD+ was installed, but no "Sanguine is watching"  (after saving and reloading the new game).  I re-installed FNIS SexyMove (w/the esp not activated) reloaded the save and all was good "Sanguine was watching".

3MB log file directs me to think you didn't install your mods properly. You see all that shit at the top of the mod, the things that starts with _sd? Yeah, that means SD+ hasn't installed properly.

So your issue is simply the process you went through to install your mods. SkyrimLL posted a good method sometimes ago, I'll try to write it back from memory:

1. install regular mods + sexlab

2. run the game, create your character wait for everything to initialize

3. save and exit

4. install sexlab related mods

5. run the game, load your save, wait for every mod to initialize

6. save and exit

7. run the game, load your save, wait a bit for everything to finish.

8. you're good to go.

If your log file become excitingly large (>=1MB) during that process, you did something wrong.
