Reading your post I installed Death Alternative's newest version aaaaand... Nothing. On bleed out I just stay there indefinitely and the NPCs ignore me.

 

That's on a vanilla install of Death Alt's new version, I even tried to turn off player being essential. Nothing. I'll try cleaning my save ETC but I don't think any of that will work.

Did you register the quests again in DA?

 

They are not registered by default anymore.

 

I did indeed. Nothing helped, even updating Captures through the MCM. The hot fix for the previous version I was using(Suggested by SD+) doesn't work either. For now I'll stick to the older version, not even sure I'm missing on much from the little I saw. Not much added at least as far as a filthy casual like me can tell.

 

Quick edit; I'm using immersive 1st person cam. During any scene, with the character's hair turned visible through IFP's config, I also see my character's nose!!! Which also apparently doesn't get fixed by just toggling the helmet view option. Besides SD/Defeat/ETC scenes, the nose is not visible. Quite funny but also quite annoying. Fixable somehow? A toggle I did not notice in the config perhaps? I tried reaching IFP's forums and creator but got no reply on this particular subject. And I'm thinking I can't be the only one with the issue.

 

Aaaand despite cleaning and installing properly... My save is roast. Good thing I've got a fall back, though it's way back... Argh.

you know what this mod is missing? npcs initiative. after being enslaved you can just just stand there and no one will bother you unless YOU approach the slavers.

would be much more realistic if they approach you instead.

Strange. In my case they do initiate interaction. It's somewhat more limited than the player initiating a dialogue or passing by though, so I'll agree it would be VERY nice to see some sort of proper initiative on all NPCs involved. Something a bit more than "X is trying to hump you!" even when you stand absolutely still (I think that's the most I've gotten? Not sure right now).

 

It would have to be very well done though, half the times I think it's best it's very discreet. All the dialogue options popping up would be a bit pace breaking?

Having issues with SD, actually been having it several editions ago.

 

Whenever I'm enslaved I don't get any devices added. I got Devious Integration and Assets installed.

 

Lately I'm also getting severe stammering when punished that halts the game.

 

I also noticed that my SD+ version listed in the MDM says 2014xxxx despite having the latest version installed.

 

Unfortunately, my Papyrus log does not seem to work, so I understand if I don't have enough info.

 

Are you using Mod Organizer by any chance?

 

Some people using MO have reported problems sometimes when an older version of SD is still applied in the profile instead of a more recent version.

 

Another possibility is Inte's SD Patch - if you are using it, disable it and remove all scripts starting with _sd from your scripts folder. 

That patch is not working with the latest version of SD+

 

 

Oh! I did not have Inte's patch, or, well, I guess I did at some point, but i found those scripts and got rid of them. Works real well now!

I have been staying away from NPC initiatives both because of the potential for breaking interruptions and because SD+ is already rather script heavy, and I don't want to add more load with scanning for nearby NPCs all around with yet another cloak effect.

 

I found that Hello events are a close enough approximation of that effect but it does require the player to move around a bit. I know that's a little immersion breaking for a player as slave situation. I also have been in too many situation where the player is stuck in a situation without anyone around or anything to do... I still believe it is better to have the player still in charge of actions.

 

There is also the issue with scenes. If I can figure out how to make a reliable scene with nearby NPCs that are not just wandering away (in other words, if i can fix the dance/train run routine), then I will be able to put the player in a similar temporary situation where they are helpless for a while. 

 

Until the, the player will have to move around.

Is there an issue with Dangerous Night?

 

Whenever I am dragged off to dream world by sanguine, DN is always triggered at the same time.

Not an issue but also not avoidable .. That's how sleep events work. Hard to have one work and prevent the other.

I have seen this when attempting to upgrade DA, the only way I got it to work was uninstall SD, clean save, register mods in DA whilst no trace of SD in game, reinstall SD, register mods in DA again.

 

Works with DA6 (at least for me) not tried 7 yet...

Then its a load order issue it works perfect for me. Some other mod is intefering with npc behaviour. I had something similar before. Problem for me is if i i overload my game with too many scripted mods i get those kinds of problems so i cut back alot and havent had that problem since. Ye i have to mention i redo my loadorder from scratch constantly so its always fresh installs I never upgrade mods i prefer clean saves. Hate papyrus is so finiky. Sure hope with the se edition we will be able to port over all these fun mods and run it more stable together

 

Now to my question how well does cursed loot compliment SD ?I would think they would work well together.

Not an issue but also not avoidable .. That's how sleep events work. Hard to have one work and prevent the other.

I have seen this when attempting to upgrade DA, the only way I got it to work was uninstall SD, clean save, register mods in DA whilst no trace of SD in game, reinstall SD, register mods in DA again.

 

What worked for me, was to roll back to my previous version the way you described. I just can't get 7+ to work. It's not a load order thing, the version suggested by SD+'s page worked fine. Eh, saves are meant for experimentation anyway :P

Hi again. I hope people won't mind if I leave these here, just feed back which I may or may have not already mentioned, on SD+. I know some may be generated through user error and that I am on the verge of spamming so here's a disclaimer; I haven't gone through the complete "To Do List" for SD+'s next release. I'm not tech savvy. Not a modder. My schedule is weird and unstable so I don't sleep much so I may be a bit rough or just missing simple things while testing. In general just read it with a light heart and please don't kill me :P

 

- SS or SD+; At least one of them does not recognize transfers among masters(Or at least not fast enough). This means I end up with some very complicated situations during auctions which usually end up requiring a load. I asked SS's author about it, said SD+ must do the dirty work of preventing some things for this to be resolved. Just letting you know.

 

- SS or SD+ through SS(But not on its own, this never happens with normal submission or through other mods that use SD+) gets my character stuck completely; I get sent to the auction, then sent to my master in that snow region(By the way why is it always there? Is that some slaver favourite spot? :P Weird) and then the only instance I can move regardless of devices on me or anything else, is if I mush my key board- But just slightly, like a step in one direction. It happens all the time and only after getting thrown out in the snow at my master's feet, through Simple Slavery. If I end up near my master I can interact normally ETC, otherwise my character can only look around. At that point I have to load my game. I'd normally direct this to SS's author but judging by their answer for the above issue, it's best to put it here.

 

- SD+ ; On occasion black out will trigger while I am on the floor(Like getting knocked down, before the animation of my character getting up, starts to play). When that happens and the screen clears up again, my character will get locked in a walking animation after the bow and putting on a collar animations finish. Essentially if knocked down during such events, when the character gets back up again it will play its SD+ animations and then start walking indefinitely towards the direction it was facing while knocked on the ground. That is the only way I've been able to reproduce this glitch.

 

- I haven't been able to identify the mod(Mods?) that cause the next problem(Even with all the right options toggled); Mods with strip options seem to be really confused during scenes. Regardless of each of these mods' MCM settings(For instance, I've turned off ignoring SexLab stripping but it still happens) or any core settings from SexLabs(I've set the items I want as "Never Remove"), I am still being stripped of 1-2 items(Not weapons, rather clothing or armor).

 

- Similarly, one or more mods which I can't pinpoint, always ignore some or all devices I may have on me from a master and proceed to play normal animations during scenes regardless of device types. I've disabled stripping arm binders, I've only allowed DD to replace animations, so no idea what to try.
This may be kind of related to the wrong animations playing sometimes?(So for instance my character during a scene things she's in an invisible yoke). Though that's just a minor nuisance and probably has to do with a setting somewhere. Come to think of it, I've never been put in a yoke in game. Has very low chance?
Regardless, it's quite frustrating to have those nice devices on me and then just see everyone ignore them completely and go vanilla sex. :P

 

- Puppet Master mod(I think that's the one doing it, at least the hot key I'm pressing is definitely the one it uses) allows me to choose poses among other things if I bring up its menu. It even includes some bound poses ETC. If I select a pose or an animation from there(Like being in a cage which magically just appears LOL) I get a message "Set this as default this or that pose. Do those affect any animations or anything anywhere else? I also must say I hope this potential is tapped. I'd love to be hung from the ceiling ETC but so far the closest I've gotten is through SD Cages(Cool mod by the way, simple and fun).

 

- Are boars also on the next update for submission? :$

 

- Can we get a toggle for non realistic but useful "Allow Creatures To Use Devices"?

 

Quick Edit - ZaZ filtering animations is good or bad? Leave it on?

I can verify this one, I had it several times.

Mods don't always respect sexlab config, or use another way to strip you.

That's an animation filtering issue. AFAIK two mods have that feature: devious devices integration and Zaz animation pack. You should disable "preserve scene aggressiveness" in Zaz and let DDi handle everything. (Note: Not sure about the name of the feature to disable in zaz, so keep your brain on :P)

 

Note2: Devious Devices integration may not recognize every tag and play nonsensical animations, it depends on your version of the mod. Regardless, it's better to have only one filter.

About stripping - I noticed. It also seems a bit random, after being stripped I can equip the same items mid scene and then there's a chance they won't be removed next round... And other such oddities.

 

For the rest; I've disabled scene aggressiveness 1st thing, I like variety. In Zaz's MCM I think the feature is called "OverRide SexLab" something something. I've also disabled that... However the issues persist, despite running the latest Integration version(Unless it was updated the last 2 days or so).

 

One more thing, the problem I'm reporting with getting stuck after SimpleSlavery comes into play, seems to be a bit more wide spread. It's just much rarer for it to occur when SS is not triggered. It just happened to me now as I was testing my MCM settings with a Troll. For the record, I let the Troll hit me until BleedOut when it happened. I honestly don't think I've had this issue when submitting voluntarily though.

-EDIT : One more thing on this glitch, it seems to occur when something goes wrong between bleed out and black out, as the times it has occurred I was already clicking "OK" on the slavery report and right after, another dialogue pops up saying a nearby creature wants me as its play thing, where I hit "Submit". There's definitely something messy there. No offense. If I am getting a slavery report dialogue(Where I see my levels for the day ETC) I shouldn't be getting delayed messages to submit again. Doesn't sound like that is innocent when it comes to glitches.

 

Speaking of which, why do Trolls alternate between Frost/Tundra/Other skins during scenes and why does that make them count as 2 separate entities!? I had an instance now where a brown one turned into a white one and generated 2 different enslavement menus. I even got the "Your captors fight among them" dialogue - I have triple checked and made sure there was NOTHING ELSE around and I saw it flicker back and forth from brown to white(Or Tundra to Frost if you prefer).

"Override when needed" was the option's name yeah. Disable that and keep the similar feature active in the devious device equip MCM. Note that it may be broken in version 3.0 beta1 (check the relevant thread for more information).

Interesting. Broken in what way? In a "Don't touch it for now" way perhaps? :P I am running tests right now but it's tiring and there's not much I can actually comprehend when it comes to what's happening under the hood. If it keeps interfering I'll disable that too and use only SexLab's animations. Right now I'm trying to minimize how entangled SD+, SS, Defeat and DA are. As in, isolate them while still having them as valid outcomes instead of one leading to the other and back and forth, causing problems.

 

Also forgive me for the text bricks I'm just trying to be as specific as I can while providing as much information as possible. The more you care, the more annoying and tiring you become, I guess.

 

But I'll have to risk it.

 

PS I read that running "Reset Animation Registry" then Register(The latter from Zaz) and REBUILD, would fix most problems. It seems to do nothing. I obviously use a clean save for testing, and have FNIS'd it properly too so it's not that. As for load order, well, I let NMM handle that because it seems to be on point judging by load order suggestions I've randomly read.

 

 

EDIT - So, applying a rag doll effect after sex scenes seems to unfreeze me when my character gets that weird glitch. So there's that for now.... Assuming you're close to your owner so they can eventually hump you if you can't reach them with E. And I think I'll just disable SD+ from black out events, so far it's the best band aid fix(Seemingly).

Also I'm getting rather annoyed by Dialogues, because members of my owner's faction ignore them anyway. The best I get is a (Grunts...) reply and nothing happens. Also Dialogues seems to not work all the time - Sometimes I can't click on anything. At least that goes away after a while(No it's not a gag, I had no devices on me during that test). I think I've mentioned that though.

 

I've also disabled "Arm binder animations" because it's too random. Sometimes I randomly get arm binders, sometimes they dissappear. Sometimes I'll walk and they dissappear, only to come back mid scene. And other weirdness. I guess it is indeed kind of broken.

Quick and semi irrelevant silly question ; When cleaning a save, which functions do I choose? FixScriptInstances, Delete All#, Del. Broken Actives and Clean FormLists?

 

So far I've been leaving Advanced options and Havok Reset alone, not sure if that's OK so I wanted to double check. Thanks.

Quick question about certain things maby someone can point me in the right direction. Sometimes it will say my owner marked me as his property but nothing happens I got slavetats installed am i doing something wrong or is there no integration also in previous versions i used to get my head shaven etc. This time i just get the messages and nothing happens.

ah bridge mod is what im missing now just the shave head issue. As for logs im I havent got the fogiest where to look for it

Has anyone noticed that SD+ doesn't respect the shaved head setting in Dialogues?

That's the second report of that issue today.

 

Can you confirm you do not have Hormones installed?

 

Hormones has its own head shaving function. I made a change to have SD play nice with Hormones.

 

If you do have Hormones installed, upgrade it.

If not, it is a bug I have to fix.

It should be automatic but you will have to be enslaved again for the tattoo to be applied.
