Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

I have probably mentioned it before. I am suffering from a crash issue that effects an area in the game and even causes a crash on a new game. Not sure why but it happens. The issue stops when I uninstall this mod and captured dreams. When I turn them back on it causes the crash to return. the save is brand new. I turned off the two mods did a clean save removed the scripts and reinstalled the mods it works for now. This is my load order.

I love this mod.

 

1 minor thing, and I know the mod is designed for female characters, but is there a way to make a female master use cowgirl/other aggressive animations on my male character rather than using strap-ons? My female master got herself a slave (me!) with a giant schlong, but never makes use of it!

Mod is great, but I keep getting into a situation where the only keys that actually work are escape and tab, even if I use SAFE WORD to get myself out of enslavement I can't move or activate anything with e.

 

Any advice for getting out of this situation/avoiding it, as it is seriously disrupting and otherwise excellent mod.

 

Can you share your load order?

 

I ran SD+ tests without any issue on my load order many times, but recently, I experienced an issue with that kind of unresponsive keys each time after sex.

I am trying to understand which mod is triggering that.

 

I am suspecting a mod I recently updated is causing an issue with SD+ while enslaved but I don't know which one yet or how to fix SD+ to stop that kind of interference.

 

that reminds me - did you ever get that issue figured out with regards to the flowering spriggan quest having that same effect of disabling the player controls after sex

blindfolds behave that the player loses control in third person view, sex changes the view to 3rd person and player has to return to 1st person to interact with the world again

 

 

first thing I can think of for triggering those effects would be dd and if your issue with it happening during slavery is recent, they did just update to 2.9.2, ddx updated as well about that time

if it's coming from dd, it should be in your logs when it happens, but zaz can do it too

I thought about that issue with Flowering Spriggan, but this is different.

 

The Spriggan issue affected direction controls. The player was stuck in place after sex. I fixed it by detecting if the player lost movement control en a regular basis and restoring them as needed.

 

This issue affected only the Tab and Inventory controls - Action and movements were fine.

Strangely enough, it started happening after being sent to Captured Dreams from Simple Slavery. I did update Devious Devices Integration and Assets recently, so who knows which one of these is triggering that issue.

tab and inventory controls are both affected by armbinder type bindings

captured dreams bindings seem pretty random for player slave scenarios, but I think the armbinders are included in that list

cd however hasn't updated in quite some time so it could be that something was changed in the the new dd that needs to be updated there(Updated 2-5-2015) v 3.84

Quick question, when playing as a male  is this mod supposed to play female sounds for when you struggle against arm binder or get shocked when to far from your master?  Or have I installed it wrong?

 

Because I think I can sometimes hear male grunts and stuff underneath the female ones that play.

For the collar, it's a known issue.  I have that on my list of things to fix in SD+.

 

Not sure about the armbinders.

Hey everyone! i seem to be having troubles with getting the mod to work.....my health goes down to 0 and the game just crashes. i set DA to go straight to SD instead of bleedout, but still it crashes, and i have all pre req mods downloaded and accounted for.....any help would be swell, thanks!

instead of bleedout?

that sounds like you're describing the bleedout events that occur, that come disabled by default, last i'd heard that was broken

Hi all im kinda new to modding skyrim but for some reason when i install this thu nexus mod manager it crashes as soon as the logo is gone from start up am i messing somthing up? i mean i even installed all the files it needs

you either missed a file needed for this or you missed a file for those pre-requisites, like devious devices needs zaz and sexlab and sexlab aroused, etc...

sorry for being new, but how do i get out of sanguine's dreamworld? whenever i try to escape (by pulling the chain or telling him to let me go), i always end up back in the dreamworld after a textbox that says something about nearly freezing to death. can anyone help me out?

disable the frostfall addon, that was meant for people who have frostfall installed

1- Were you enslaved by CD quests when that happened to you? 

2- Did you recently upgrade Devious Devices Integration or Devious Devices Assets?

3- Were you wearing any item from CD?

4- Is the problem still happening when you are not wearing any device?

I noticed the same thing happening in my test games recently and I was wondering it that was just me.

 

A few questions:

 

1- Were you enslaved by CD quests when that happened to you?

Ok, here goes:

 

1.  No on CD quests, as far as I'm aware, but it has happened during SD enslavement, but that is expected.

2.  Yes, I always try to keep current, and have the most recent publishes of both DDi and DDa

3.  No

4.  Yes, it happens every time for me, and I have only noticed it because I have no items on that should cause it.

its new to me for this version of dd, I don't have the bugs you're reporting yet, but I also haven't been enslaved yet so that may still come ---working on a theory that any/all custom dd items may need upgraded to accommodate dd2.9.2

That explains your problem with disabling the dialogue.

This option comes from SD+ .. Not from Dialogues.

This is not an incompatibility. You always have the choice to not use that topic :)

Sure, that SD+ dialogue ' can you help me'  etc, allows the removal of SD+ applied restraints from the PC, but not only those, also DD items applied 'elsewhere'.  As Smith777 implies it can cause problems with games with DD based mod applied items. 

 

In particular, it screws up mods where the DD items applied are quest related and breaks their quest lines.  I know we have the 'choice' not to use the relevant dialogue - or even those mods, for that matter - but frankly, apart from the real nutters who read every page of all the relevant support topics, how many people actually know that?

 

Over at DCL, Kimy is now saying that SD+ integration will be removed and it, and SD Dialogues will be declared as 'incompatible' with DCL

 

I'm not trying to attribute responsibility on this, as the finer points of modding and scripting are way beyond me, and I can accept that mod authors have responsibility for their own mods, but for something as apparently fundamental as this, is there REALLY no way at all that the two very best gameplay mods on the whole site can actually be made to play nicely with each other in the same playthrough?  :-/

 

After all, they don't seem to conflict on much else - but I readily admit that that could just be my technical ignorance showing :s

 

This post is not intended to start a flamewar, and I would be most upset if the usual suspects pile in afterwards to create one - that's looking at you, SorceryEmpire - but is there any 'simplish'  :shy:  way in which these two mods can be reconciled?

your sd addons screen should look like this, if you don't have that addon:

look thru your modlist to find that esp and disable or delete it

I've already tested it with captured dreams items a few updates back and couldn't get them off after paying the smith the gold

 

all the fingers kimy points at sd, but what has kimy done to stop cused loot from adding glitched dd gear to an actively running spriggan quest

looks to me like we're getting more effort to fix things from skyrimill than kimy

I can't speak to what other mods are doing to items from SD+ but the least I can do is to improve SD side when I find out there is an issue I can fix on my end.

 

Devious Devices has a mechanism in place to handle generic devices as opposed to quest related ones.

I know I didn't implement it well enough on my end, so at least I can try to fix that.
