Has anyone else had a problem of the new version still showing as the old version in MCM?

 

I think something might just be hosed in my save file, but no matter what I try I can't get it to display the correct version.  (And I've uninstalled all the other SD/Patches with NMM and checked to make sure that everything is gone from \Scripts and \Interface)

 

Though I think it's just hosed because of things like if I "setstage SKI_configmanagerinstance 1", MCM loses the menu option for SD, and if I completely remove SD (or the new version now) then I get a CTD on a game save.

 

Man I just wish Bethesda used a save format that was possible to clean!

 

As for right now I'm just envious of all of you guys, and wondering if it's worth restarting and going through 39 levels again.   :dodgy:

 

MCM should be fixed when I will send out the update tonight.

Hmm.. when the enslavement starts, not all enemies nearby are immediately friendly - instead, they keep hitting me, until one of them eventually enslaves my char. and everyone's friendly then. Is this normal?

 

Also, nothing happens after the enslavement - if I talk to the master, and try to make him angry or pleased, a dialogue like "forcing you to dance.." comes up, but nothing really happens. (not even a rape, except for the first time when getting enslaved)

 

Oh.. finally, the messages like "receiving scene" pop up at the beginning of the enslavement, but the actual rape starts only after the message saying that sex has ended.. which is kind of weird.

 

I thought it was because of the Requiem mod, but come to think of it, I don't think requiem has anything to do with this mod

 

Are those things I mentioned normal?

In a way I'm happy that you might get it fixed, and in another way a bit sad that it might be fixed.  

 

Had almost resigned myself to starting over, but at least it would get rid of all of the Papyrus spam from SD with temp34/temp24 and some MannequinActivate script that was apparently left running by a house mod (that I can't figure out which damned one did it!)

 

But redoing 100+ hours...  sheesh...   :-/

 

Edit: And by the way, in all of my posts I don't think I've ever said THANK YOU!  Just realize how much I appreciate it by the fact that I'm thinking of chucking that 100+ hour game (having never actually completed the game) just to use your updated version.  :)

Don't throw away those 100+ hours yet (unless of course you already deleted stable save games).

These things are normal.

 

The scenes not starting is a bug with this release. I am working on fixing it hopefully tonight.

 

The sex scenes starting after the message says they ended is normal - it is due to the asynchronous nature of the events systems and source of huge headaches on the scripting sides (for example, you could start 10 scenes and not know they are queued and waiting to run as you walk around your merry way :) ).

Stable save games?  What are those?  I believe the original SD was one of the first five mods I loaded this go around (played halfway through at launch, then just restarted last month)...  Devious Devices was another one, and you know how hard it is to do that damned Forbidden Tome quest all over Solstheim at freaking level 6?!

 

Heck, thanks to SD I'd already belonged to half of the bandits in Skyrim before I was high enough to go drinking with Sam.  ;)

One thing I need to clarify... it is not the original scenes system that was broken... I most likely broke it by trying to build on it.

 

Now i need to take a deep breath, go back to the drawing board and tear this thing down to find out what went wrong.

Thanks for all your work skyrimII.  You are doing an outstanding job with SD.  Most of us could probably build a car from an iron ore vein easier than do what you've done so far.  Keep up the good work.

First, a huge thank you.

 

This is all from the 'b' version and may be known and/or anticipated:

 

While enslaved in Whiterun (via the "I need a strong hand" dialog option) my owner had me dance in the Bannered Mare twice:

-there was no dance animation either time, but both times, after a pause, that were a truncated version of the old dance-ending "bow";

-the train option seems to have worked fine both times (lots of cleaning up dead bodies in the upper left) though, because of the pauses between it would be handy to know when it was over somehow so as to avoid doing something that might break the save (assuming that's possible)

-when I got to <-50 demerits with this owner I got the "I want to put this behind me" dialog from her repeatedly, but never the old option that lead to release

 

Enslaved to falmer (Shimmermist and the Lighthouse near Dawnstar):

-prior to enslavement EstrusChaurus worked fine

-after enslavement in Shimmermist I got the often reported "nothing happens" issues, however, in while enslaved in the caves beneath the lighthouse my owner would respond with whipping, face changing, sex animations, the special falmer drink, and carrots for food, but neither other falmer or chaurus (even with arousal at 100) would interact with my PC (I am using Aroused and LV)

-escaped using swords and axes lying about under the lighthouse

 

My first enslavement was to a bandit just outside Whiterun:

-everything seemed to go as planned (though, I was able to 'escape' by getting him to follow me to within bow range of the town guards who proceeded to kill him dead almost before he drew his hammer), including my trip to Sanguine's realm after next sleeping

 

Died once, sent to Sanguine, out of curiosity pulled the chain on the pillar near where he stands and was sent back right off to an inn.

I really like the visuals of the PC upon first entering Sanguine's realm.

Loading the transfer 'to' Sanguine seems a little longer, more blacking out, more flashing screen, than returning from.

And, though Sanguine said something about having a bit of fun before sending me back from my initial visit, there were no animations, I was just back in my room at the inn.

Was that an inn you already had a room in? or some random inn?

What exactly is supposed to happen when you meet Sanguine the first time? Because i'm not sure it worked on my game, Sanguine did nothing and just released me when asked, i didn't get the artifact (though it's enabled), the "Sanguine is watching" quest wasen't updated or replaced with anything. Is this normal? Or did something go very wrong with my game?

I am sorry to say that I don't remember for certain. The post was from last night's fiddling around and I didn't note which inn. But, I did check my map, since it is a Lvl 1 character i started just for this and it would have to have been Riverwood or Whiterun because there was no where else with an inn I'd discovered. I am inclined to say that it was the Bannered Mare because I was surprised to be there and had not paid for a bed there for the night. I did sleep in Riverwood's inn, but that was for my first visit to Sanguine.

 

Sorry I can't be more help. Figures I wouldn't remember the important part.

Another thing:

 

The dance option is kind of gamebreaking for me. Usually, it goes like this:

Toon gets enslaved, jadajada, master wants her to dance - she dances like she's never danced before, and master applauds after a while. Everything okay up to this point.

Then, when the train should start, he goes away and does whatever he wants to - usually sitting down on a chair and gobbeling some bread down. Somehow this causes my toon to turn invisible when he then finally decides to have some fun with his slave. My wild guess would be, that this is somehow caused by the new action (Sitting down a chair and eat) getting in between the clapping action, and the train action. Wich the sitting action seems to do because theres too much time in between? Kind of a filler?

 

(I am not able to explain that any better - it appears that my english is not as good as I remembered it to be.)

I also want to express my grattitude for all your hard work so far!

 

When I used the save teleporter, I "woke up" in the honeybrew meadery outside of whiterun. And got chased outside, because those workers didn't like a pretty, naked lady turn up out of nowhere. Heh.

For now, there is no quest (too much todo to fix bugs and get those scenes to work :) )

Eventually, there will be more interactions with Sanguine and the other victims.

 

You can simply talk to him, ask questions, and ask to be sent back (with the occasional price to pay).

 

The artifact should be equipped and visible only when you are in Dreamworld. It is very faint. I am thinking of making it more obvious (as in an outfit make of body jewelry or piercings).

 

It is true I should change the status of the quest at least (instead of just watching).

The reason I ask is that I have been trying to get Sanguine to send you to a random location (starting with inns).

 

The chain sends you always to the same place.

 

By default, Sanguine will send you back to where you were when you died.

 

I have not been successful at teleporting to a random inn yet, so I am curious if that happens to anyone.

I guess it should be working then. I knew the artifact should only be visible in Sanguine's realm from the release notes, but i was expecting it to exists in my inventory somewhere and was supriced that it didn't, so i wasen't sure if it worked or not.

Actually yes. I entered Sanguine's realm from the Bannered Mare, and after talking to uncle Sammy i was brought to the Honningbrew Meadry. So that is possible.

Well, I went out and got myself killed again (it took a while) so that I could see what would happen if I pulled the chain and now I remember why I couldn't recall which inn it was.... it wasn't an inn, it was Honningbrew Meadery... inside, at the bar.

 

I did a quicksave just before I died so I can go see where Sanguine will send me if I talk to him instead of pulling that chain first.

 

Also, while trying to get killed:

 

I was taken to 0 health by some spiders and a death-hound, followed by repeated 'you are pinned to the ground' and 'your opponents are overcome with lust' ... I was even mounted by the death hound, full animation (dog). When I finally got a giant to kill me after several of the same thing with him, I did go to Sanguine's realm, but was frozen there, unable to move or open any menus other than ESC.

 

I'll go see what happens when I talk to Sanguine instead using the chain.

EDIT: When I ask Sanguine to let me go I am unbound and 'teleported' back to the entry-point of his realm. Six out of six times.

Yes, well... ohh crud..

 

I did it twice since i thought something had gone wrong the first time. One time i talked to uncle Sammy, and the other i pulled the chain. I don't remeber which one of them sent me to the meadry. Sorry :unsure:

I have a clean install of all SexLab mods (I actually only had non-script based mods installed beforehand) and even with a new game I can't get this to work properly.

 

- Sex happens after about 20 secs of delay if at all.

- Dance worked once when I still had this new version installed over the old one no animations have played otherwise.

- When I finally got to Sanguines realm, after ~10 or so clean starts and reinstalls, the conversation bugged out, my character masturbated on the ground while the conversation window was still open. When I got teleported back to the inn in Whiterun, Sanguine appeared next to me in my rented room.

- I can't for the life of me to get one enslavement to go smoothly. My masters friends keep attacking me.. My master doesn't perform any actions when I ask how I can please him and much more.

 

I've got these mods installed:

(- All requirements for the original SD. All latest versions)

- SexLab Submit

- Devious Devices Assets

- Devious Devices Integration

- SexLab Submit + Devious Devices

- SexLab Aroused

- SexLabNudeCreatures

- SexLab Working Girl

- PrisonOverhaul

 

Any tips on why this ain't working?

 

*Edit: I've set Submit to manual only. So that shouldn't be messing stuff up.

MCM is still completely broken in 1.05c - right? Because your mentioned MCM resource updates in the changelog. I can only see variable names. Started with a fresh game and a clean installation

Just downloaded the latest version of this, seems to work just fine except for two things. When I die, it just immediately reloads my last save and for some reason, I just can't talk to my owner at all. I just get : "I have no more business with you.", "Go on, get out of here!" Or something similar. The death thing doesn't really bother me , but the other problem is a bit annoying. Though to be fair, those two times I tried it were on one of those fake soldiers who ask you for gold, and a bounty hunter. I'll give it one more shot with a generic bandit.
