on another note, i noticed today zaz has an update and i'm mentioning this here because somebody here recently spoke of issues with textures and that is 1 of the changes listed:

  What's New in Version 6.01 (See full changelog)  
  • V6.01
  • * French translation
  • * Script bugfixes
  • * Fixed resource bugs (mesh texture references, sounds, etc)
  • * Added missing animation files ZapXXXStruggle08, 09, 10, 13, 14, 15 (replace XXX with Armb, Yoke, Wri, etc)
  • * Changed magic effect to not heal actors.

I just encountered a rather strange problem--

 

The CBBE-TBBP body I created looked fine, even when I loaded it repeatedly yesterday. But, when I tried loading it, today, the breasts were sunken into the chest, and, even if I tried increasing their size into balloons with RaceMenu, they stayed there.

Did you try running FNIS again?

 

 

 

Umm... I am working with a nude body; the intricacies of Bodyslide are not that overwhelming even for ME at that stage.

if you're using a nude body already, the only thing makes sense would be that maybe need to run fnis again after you ran bodyslide

Coincidentally enough, before I went to bed last night, I'd decided to uninstall a terrain mod and, even though FNIS has NOTHING to do with terrain mods, before I re-ran WryeBash, I ran FNIS either out of force of habit or obsessive compulsion-- even I don't know which. 

 

I'd experimented with what the new settings on RaceMenu do (and don't do).  My first guess, based only on my own observation, is that something just hates being manipulated by RaceMenu so much that it comes back to make me pay for it, later.  That might make no sense in most people's computers; but, crazy stuff happens inside my Microsoft voodoo box.

So, as I said I'm very tech-illiterate. When I click "download" in the Skyrim Sexlab page I get presented with four options. Do I pick the SexLabFramework.v159c.7z option?  And, basically, where do I need to put it to make it work? Does it work with the NMM?

Yes, that sounds right (assuming you don't have a previous version of SL) and Yes, point NMM at it and let it do it's thing.

NMM isn't really recommended as a mod manager/organiser but it still works ok for me, all my issues with mods have been PICNIC related.

 

You will need to look at the dependencies for the SL Framework and make sure you have those, especially FNIS which needs running after installing anything that adds animations.

Is the new WarZones still incompatible? Would be a shame, as -so far- it seems to be fine, unlike the old version.

 

I never used WarZones.

 

Someone using it would have to test and report back.

 

I am not even sure what the incompatibility was at that point.

sounds like you're have issues with racemenu plugin from nexus then, i've only recently come across it so haven't experimented with it yet, so far i've only added a race using racecompatibility and succubus race

I know that you're working with the author of DD, but, Idk what to expect for the consequences (if any) on the DD mod(s).  Is DD going to receive an update at or about the same time SD+'s update comes out, or, will SD+ just somehow work with existing DD resources differently?  If DD will receive changes, which mod(s)/asset(s) will be affected, when (if you know)?

as he's said in a previous post they're working together to fix major dd issues with this mod since dd was integrated and both sd+ and dd are planned to release a simultaneous update

I think you've already answered it at some point (for the life of me cant find where, might be making it up), but will the next version will support/not conflict with Deviously helpless?

The next version, 3.0, will work with Deviously Helpless.

WarZones was actually compatible. It didn't change any factions. The problem was, that when you left the cell where the npc spawned all... npcs added by WZ would despawn. That left the enslaved char without it's original master and no opportunity to get the master key. I don't know if the spawning mechanic changed in the new version. I wanted to test that this week, looks like an interesting update. I don't know how the new version of SD will handle a suddenly despawned (vanishing) master. But it should be like as it was... get creative and look for other ways to get back to Sanguine and remove your bonds.

As usuall around december I come back to this game. I am having problems already mentioned here. But what is the point of "k" if all it does give you options the do not seem to do anything. Last Breath, Pray and Resist? I still do not fully undrestand the functioning behind them. They seem useless and the number of dialogs that appear now are one too many.

 

Second issue, if I say my character is cold and "Master" gives my PC slave clothes, she just drops them on the floor. How do I make them not drop them. I try to take them but she just drops them.

 

Tried this on a clean early save.

In other words: Any way to turn the PC into Sanguin's personal Pain Slut?

 

That would be interesting, have Sam give you to different masters for a while (until you get tired of them and kill em).

Maybe have it so while you are out and not doing any major quest, Sanguin would summon you to his little area and give you a good romp or two... then send you off naked and bound to go about your business.

Maybe even have Sam pop up in a town while you there and give you that "My old Drinking Buddy" line then kick off some kind of pimping you out to different people in the tavern.

 

Basically just turn the PC into Sam's personal toy... now that would make SD+ really more interesting.... not that it isn't already, it would just make it better.

That's exactly where I am taking SD+ after I am done working on the mechanics of the mod.

 

Having multiple slaves named Alicia was one step.

 

Having Alicia frequently leave to join Sanguine and return bruised and used was another.

 

The next step will be a quest to turn female PCs into an Alicia.

 

I also have to come up with a quest for male PCs.

Ah, I have one question: regardless if I am gay, bi or straight as male (Sexlab), Sanguine is always female. I thought that was not the plan, right?

You have to manually set your gender preference in SD menu.

there's a setting in sd+ to change sanguine's prefered gender (hopefully somebody remembers what setting that is)

if setting that doesn't fix the issue, i believe skyrimill has also mentioned updating That setting

 

 

May I infer from your reply that only one of the DD mods will be updated, then?

the post from skyrimill stated he's working with min: the author of devious devices integration and min will be releasing a simultaneous update for it when they are done with the update for sd+
