only issue I am having right now is that males are not naked they still have there underwear on for some reason I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mod I even reset all the stuff and they are still underweared kinda weird. Does anyone have a fix for it.

From the Original Post under the "Troubleshooting" headline:

provide the SOS Internal information output and the Papyrus/SKSE logs or you will be ignored

Perhaps you should review that first post.

This might qualify as "Missing MCM" in the troubleshoot tab but my issue is slightly different than the one described there. So I installed SoS and I see the MCM menu, but when I click it I just get the SOS Logo with no menus or options what so ever. Tried reinstalling but it didn't work. Even on a new game the MCM is still busted. Not sure what's going on, any ideas?

My last install of skyrim I had SoS light installed, scaled the penis bone up so nobody is compensating anymore and it was a mess. Armor and clothes looked messed up for males mostly it made my male character butt look big in armor lol. Now I am thinking about installing skyrim again and I noticed the mention of a mod called SAM which I vaguely remember being made by the original makers of SoS? where is this SAM mod and is it better than SoS or Light versions?

What I have never tried though, was just leaving the scaling along and see if sexlab and sex mods scale the penis up during sex only. Does SoS/Light work that way or is that just wishful thinking?

SOS Light does erections or flaccid on demand, all dicks are exactly the same size. SOS Full essentially adds a random dick size and base shape to all NPCs plus the ability via potions (or MCM) to adjust dick size or to completely emasculate selected NPCs.

I've never run the light version, I can handle the full version so why bother with the "one size fits all" mod.

If you want to look at SAM, it is short for Shape Atlas For Men (there's a new thread here with some armor for it). Google it and you'll find it's home.

I sent this as a PM to B3lisairo but it looks like he hasn't been around since mid-Feb, so I will repost here in case there are folks who know something of the internals of SOS:

Been looking through the way SOS handles config, MCM, and updates. I'm trying to model Apropos a bit after your painful experience (evidenced through your code comments in SOS_Config.psc).

I like how  you have separated the logic for updates into its own global script, and the way it dispatches back to the SOS_Config object. I can see how you have setup your own SOS_VersionInt version stamp, but I'm still puzzled why you still do things like this:

            if(loadedVersion < 203010)
                Debug.Trace("SOS: updating to version 2.03.010")
                config.PerformVersionUpdate(config.GetVersion())
                SOS_Update203010.Update(SOS)
Debug.Trace("SOS: update to version 2.03.010 complete")
            endif

Why the call to PerformVersionUpdate, and why bother with the old (unreliable) CurrentVersion property? What does SOS_Config.GetVersion() strategy have to do at all with your convention of your 5 digit SOS_VersionInt?

Also, did you ever think about using the SKI_ConfigBase.OnGameReload instead of Actor.OnPlayerLoadGame() ???

Thanks a bunch!

Well I don't have an interest in npcs individual penis sizes so the one size fits most thing is fine with me and I can always make mine bigger with racemenu:-) I have never run the full version of SoS because of the scripting problems it has had in the past. I wanted to keep the custom body thing for males and females simple and easy to manage in case I wanted to add some weird gender bending stuff later like futa succubus or something. I found that SAM site but the author says there are going to be conflicts with armor that was customized for SoS slot settings but basically the sexlab stuff should treat it like SoS so it should be fine but he said something about the skeletons not working?

A preference/request for a future update would be to be able to select different body textures for races, or at least between the Man and Mer races.

I'd really like to keep my hairy nord body but choose the hairless version for elves.

Even a set up for PC/Man/Mer would be nice. *shrugs*

You can do that if you use SAM, you can find it at ladymoraine

Really?  I plan to use it at some point as it looked like a neat setup, I tried getting it to work with my current playthrough, but something with the save is bugged. SOS works but soon as I installed SAM, there was some bug that kept me from using it...think it was something to do with the genitals not working right, would work fine in a new save. *shrugs*  Figure when I get around to a new character, I'll just use it then.

EDIT

Okay I take that back. I messed around with it again and got it working. Think if I recall right, last time the underwear wouldn't come off. I'll have to play around with it some, maybe see if there have been some interesting updates since I originally downloaded it.

Was wondering if anyone know a fix for this ?? i currently use an addon from sos itself who adds underwear to all male npc's but sometimes the underwear is not removed properly when sexlab is initiated ?? i checked to see all slot 49 and 52 are checked so i don't know why sometimes the underwear get stuck. when the npc is dead and i check the inventory the underwear itself is not activated so remove it and still the npc npc is wearing underwear even though he has no underwear anymore in it's inventory ??

I hope i explained correctly English is not my native language.

Hey there! first off, I love the mod. Used to use it all the time before SAM came out. Well, now I'm using it again, and for some reason its not working quite right.

The mod installs just fine, but when the game boots up, it states that it cannot find my SKSE, or that my SKSE file is outdated. It says it njeeds 1.7.2, but thats still in beta, isnt it? RIght now I have SKSE 1.7.1, and that should work just fine right?

Also, this is probably a direct connection, but the MCM wont work. A SOS tab shows up, but when I select it, no options show up. It's completely blank.

Is there any way to fix all this? thanks!

It means what it says 1.72. Yes, the beta version.

Thats what I was afraid of. Frankly, updating SKSE scares me, as I usually fuck it up. Is there some easy way to uninstall old versions installed via the installer?

SKSE is easier to manually install, then you can just drop the new version in and let it overwrite. Never had a issue updating SKSE doing that.

Okay, so the Issues I addressed are fixed. Seems that the whole needing 172 was true. neato.

Now the problem im having is more mod preference related. It seems SoS UNP addon is not recognizing my XP32 Max skeleton with BBP setting as a usable SoS female skeleton. Any way to fix this? All I want is big men with big dicks and chick with other dicks. xD

hi all! I can't find anymore sos in the mcm menu ._. And i really have no clue why since i don't think i've changed anything since the last time i've configured it the the mcm.

It's weird like that how following instructions works.

Come on now, Was I really supposed to suspect I should use a BETA version of skse?

Thanks a bunch!

All this code already existed when I started working on SOS. It worked and I left it as it was. The comments about PerformVersionUpdate neither are mine. The old code is there to allow upgrading from any version of SOS.

At some point the version number stored as a float gave me some problems and I changed it to integer (problems like 2.05017 * 10000 = 205016.999)

SKI_ConfigBase.OnGameReload vs Actor.OnPlayerLoadGame:

I think it's almost the same. SkyUI has its own OnPlayerLoadGame event and it fires there the OnGameReload custom event.

Since there is maintenance code already in SOS, I choosed to initialize there the new stuff I added on MCM instead of using the PerformVersionUpdate thing. At the end you only need to put a value on a property.

If I ever rewrite the maintenance part, I'll do it as the live another life mod. It has separated quests to handle the updates. I tried to do something similar in SOS but without the quests and I think they are needed to avoid loading the upgrade scripts every time. Actually that's a guess, I suspect the engine loads all scripts and their references, even for global scripts that are not called anymore.
