Hi, little problem here:

i sided the imperials, (testing the civil war overhaul in combination with your interesting mod), was caught without belt 2nd time, and tullius himself punished me at the marketplace of solitude. Spend the night there (nice visitors, by the way) and was freed by tullius in the morning. But just after freeing me he says something like: "rikke reported, that you removed your belt". But im still wearing the imperial belt.

Later, i went to rikke and she says that im unbelted and have to report to tullius, but the belt was there. On the second march to the cross i was attacked and killed by a guard...

 

any advise? 

 

 

Hmm, did you happen to notice if Rikke ever walked past you while on the cross? That bit of dialogue should only ever happen once Rikke sees you without your belt, which you should have while on the cross. Unless she managed to pass you the moment Tullius was changing your belt.

 

Anyway, whatever the reason was, I'll add a check at the end of the Punishment scene for the next release to make sure the quest is in the correct state, so thanks for reporting it.

 

Meanwhile you can fix it for your game with a console command:

set DF_MissingBeltState to 0

v1.3 is up! I do have that sinking feeling I forgot to include some updated script again :D We'll see, hopefully not.

 

Anyway, changes:

- Fixed punishment scenes not starting in Windhelm
- Fixed a case where Rikke thought you were missing your belt after a punishment scene
- Fixed player moans not playing

- Original custom timescale is now restored at the end of the punishment
- BeltGuard technology!
    * Tired of those OTHER soldiers running around without chastity belts?
    * No more! Our patented BeltGuard now periodically equips all nearby soldiers with their standard issue chastity belts.
    * (Needs to be activated through MCM)

 

That last one is a bit of an overkill solution for the NPCs not having belts to be honest, and I really don't recommend having it on for extended periods. But that seemed to be easier solution than duplicating every quest specific soldier there is to have different outfits for females. And this way it's compatible with other mods that add / change soldiers. Legionettes for example that adds female legionnaires.

Just spent most of the morning testing only to come back and see an update, lol. Quick punishment test on the newest version seems to be working okay, too.  Anyway, the punishment process seems to work fine in the camp thus far. Only a couple of suggestions to improve the presentation.

 

-Is it possible for the bindings to remain on the player when they're in the cage so that they have a visual reason for their arms to be held behind them?

 

-At least in the Falkreath stormcloak camp, haven't got to test the mod anywhere else yet, it gets VERY dark at night when you've got a realistic light mod active. Any chance of sticking a brazier or torch or something nearby to the punishment areas to improve visibility?

Sure, both are good ideas. Was actually considering something similar earlier :)

The cross only appears after that starting event. Can you post longer bit of your log? And are you running the latest (1.3) version?

I'm thinking the quest handling the punishments failed to start for some reason. Have you by any chance done this quest?

 

Also, if you can try, after getting tied up, if you use console command

sqv dr_punishmentimperial

does it report the quest as running or stopped?

Well I haven't installed the latest update, but I was playing earlier today and got past the siege of Whiterun. So far, everything is running perfectly. Only gotten caught without my belt once, so we'll have to see how further punishments go, but at least I can say that, so far, this and Civil War Overhaul do not appear to have any issues running together.

 

I'm fighting on the Imperial side, and have one question: Are there any other keys besides the one Tullius has? His is pretty tough to nick as he always has people around him. The first one I got with a brief invisibility potion, but I don't have anymore of those. :P

Hi, i am not native english speaker but try explain the better i can.

 

i start get one bug were i get one message where say the belt is attached to corpse and remove the plugs then spaming me with stormcloak punishment plug.

 

post the log were seen start the bug.

If Galmar sees the pc outside of a chastity belt at a place outside Windhelm, what happens? I take it he leads the pc to the punishment post in WIndhelm, as I was marched quite a while before boredom got the best of me. Are there other punishment locations? Is there a way to speed that march along a la Prison Overhaul?

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Looks like the aliases didn't work quite like I expected when doing them. I'll pm you with a fix, since I haven't been able to test it myself. Or not, looks like you can't use the messaging system for whatever reason. Anyway, I've attached a file here that should fix it, picking a random NPC instead of Jaree-ra, untested however. DeviousRegulations.esp

Each stormcloak camp has their own punishment posts. So where exactly were you? It defaults to Windhelm though if you aren't in camp. Though now that you mention it, Galmar is elsewhere during the Jagged Crown quest at least. Pff, imperials were much simpler to handle ^^

so i go to join the stormcloaks but Galmar doesnt give the belt, i take the belt in the chest in the map room put it on and go back to galmar but still says i need to lock it. what did i do wrong?

That sounds like something is wrong with you Devious Devices - Integration installation. Is it earlier in your load order than Regulations? And is it working normally? Post your papyrus log and I can say a bit more :)

Can't really do much about that, I'll try to minimize the chances of them being on a corpse, meanwhile disabling NPC messages in Devious Devices - Integration might help. And if not, you need to loot the corpse and remove the plugs.

He had a key on him initially, but after I got caught without a belt and he took it back, he then no longer had his key. I don't know if this is intentional.

Tullius's bed is the one nearest him in Castle Dour that still has a regal air to it. It's close enough to still hear him and Rikke talk.

I don't think he actually uses the room until the war is over. But it's directly upstairs from the war room where he usually hovers around. And yeah, the key not appearing on him again is intentional.

Do the devices from Integration work normally? As in, do they prevent the correct sexlab animations?

 

For uploading your log:

First enable logging in your Skyrim.ini file, which can be found in \Documents\My games\Skyrim\

In that file under section [Papyrus]

change the following lines:

bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1

They should be set to =0 by default, change them to =1.

 

After that load the game, do whatever produced the error.

 

Afterwards, upload your logfile from \Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\, the actual logfile is named Papyrus.0.log. Upload that here so I can look at it.
