I saw this was already mentioned, but could not tell if there was a fix on the way.  In case any of this helps:-

 

I am having a problem with a quest letter, the letter says "I have a job for you that I think you may find enjoyable and it would be a great help to me as well. Time on this is limited so your immediate arrival is requested. If you can't make it the opportunity may present itself again later."

When I try to accept the job from her though, the only response I have is "Um, maybe later"

 

I have am not wearing any devices and I have tried talking to her at different locations/parts of the day.

 

The letter is for the Embassy quest, have you done it once already?

 

Use the following in the console:   sqv  CDxTaskManager   and look for the variable   Avail_ExpQuest02

 

If the variable is 0 then the quest is unavailable (timed out most likely, will be available again)

if the variable is 1 then the quest is available.  NOTE: if you have done the main Embassy quest already then this needs changed to 2, use the following command to do so   setpqv CDxTaskManager Avail_ExpQuest02 2   and she will give you the quest.

 

I have made the adjustment in the script that sets this but it won't be released for a while.

 

 

I had already done it once.  "setpqv CDxTaskManager Avail_ExpQuest02 2" allowed me to accept the quest but there were further problems. At the point where she says she needs to get me ready nothing happened. I disabled player controls and then it walked me over to her guard (can't remember his name) and various bondage items were equipped (but the clothing I was already wearing was not stripped) Not sure on this, all of your items should have been taken from you.

 

and the quest continued for a bit. After being handed over to the guards things kept getting stuck. Sometimes, after a sex scene instead of being chained back up and the guard wandering off, everyone involved would just stand there staring at each other. Re-enabling player control and then disabling player control would get the player back in chains but the guard would still just stand there doing nothing till it was used in a sex scene again. Likely something interfering with the ending of the sex scene. Some mods try to do things at the end of them and it interrupts the scene. My sex scenes are made so it detects when it is over and starts the next part but if something else does something at the same time (detects the orgasm) it can cause a conflict.

Then once It was over and we were all back at her shop there was no follow up dialog, no reward and the remaining restraints were not removed from me. Something didn't go correctly, especially since you didn't have your items taken at the start.

 

I don't know up much of the following is bugs vs unfinished:

The dialog from the master when accepting the quest and between her and the guards once you arrive don't quite match up. Since you didn't have your items taken that scene was likely skipped through for whatever reason so you would have missed some dialogue.

Were there only 2 guards in this version of the event?  They tended to wander out if eyesight so I am not sure, but there seemed to be just the same two.Yes, I just used 2 generic guards for this.

Was there suppose to be any dialog between scenes?  The guards only seemed to speak before the first one and much later after the last one.No, no dialogue really.

Playing the (new) embassy quest for the first time, there are some minor things i'm not sure if mentioned yet:

1. I still had a collar (default from the "punishment present") on, so the harness with collar wasn't equipped. Not sure how to solve that, just removing the collar might be considered cheating, but imho it's the smaller evil. I didn't play much further because i didn't want to try my luck, i just reloaded and cheated a key to remove the collar before taking the job again.

Removing the collar and make the player pay for it might be another option. In case it matters, i didn't get any letter, i think i was just lucky to be there at the right time.

It should have stripped all of the devices from you including any quest devices at the start.

 

2. In Elenwens chamber i keep the armbinder for the animations, but appearently they are started with "lesbian". I have disabled the DDi restrictions for animations which is probably why it really plays the lesbian animation, but i think changing the tag to bound instead of lesbian (afaik there is no animation for both) or remove the armbinder would be better anyways.

Only tags used were 'oral' for the first one and 'dirty' for the second and third. Anything else was up to sexlab, do you have sexlab set to force the use of same sex animations in those conditions?

Unfortunately, after disabling a lot of related mods and cleaning my savegames the game still crashes at the same point.

It's when the red ebonite restrictive corset is equipped on top of a cd belt (bronze in my case), black ones are fine, did you

test the red ebonite one Veladarius?

 

I did some testing and this is what I found:

The Ebonite corsets will CTD with ANY open back belt including the one from DDi

The Leather corsets do not crash

I tested every corset from DDi and DDx

I used the standard DDi open back belt as well as several of my CD belts and all had the same results.

 

I reinstalled the current bodyslide data from both DDa (v3.0d) and DDx (v2.0c) and remade the corset/belt combo in bodyslide just to be sure, both the ebonite and leather versions. There was no change

 

I tried opening the model in the ArmorAddon for the corset w/ open back belt combo and the CK crashed.

 

This goes beyond CD.

 

 

I am submitting a bug report to the DD team.

 

I know this has been reported and fixed by the DD team, and a fix should be in the DDx thread and in the dev version. But they have not updated the main download of DDx with the fix yet.

I suggest changing to leather instead of ebonite as there were no issues with those. The leather and ebonite corsets use different mesh sets so they don't have the problem the ebonite ones do.

Just overwrite the one with the same name in the bodyslide folder.

No, i don't... i think 'dirty' isn't used often, not sure why oral shouldn't work. Later during the guards part most animations will be weird with an armbinder because there is no threesome in the ZAP pack and only very few for bound. I guess wrist binders would be better. It even often played the wrist binder animation often during walking, not sure if i broke something when i switched to bound animations though.

Ahh... if the armbinder should be removed i'd suggest forget what i said, just make sure the armbinder is actually removed. ;)

Although... there is a dialogue about it, when you meet Elenwen with her assistent to try the furnitures. After that it was the first time it's removed since entering the embassy. Are you sure it should be off all the time? I didn't try to remove it because i thought i'm supposed to wear it.

 

And something different: I have the option to start the mining task, but i can't find the mine. Did you move the entrance? Since a couple of days there are also a lot of NPCs, and the MCM says the extension has started, but not finished. How long does it take to build the mine? I've seen the MCM option to finish it, but as long as it's not a bug i'd rather let it build like supposed.

The Armbinder should be removed as soon as you arrive, is put on just before going up for the furniture testing where it is removed. It is also put on when being moved from the cell to the dinner party in the evening after the furniture testing and removed once you get there. after that it is added by Elenwen on the last night with her and should be removed at the end of the quest by Master. All of these items should be standard items and not quest items so they should be able to be gotten out of normally. I will check the removal point scripts though.

 

Mine has not moved but it may be an issue with timing. The quest should be available as soon as the mine is done but if it isn't there then the conditions may be set to the wrong stage to make it available.

Note for all of the German users of CD:  CGi managed to escape his captivity and is now beginning the process of translation again. Hopefully he is not found and dragged back before he has a chance to finish it. He is working on the current version - v4.15 but I had him not bother with any changes to the Manor Slave (not that there should be much if any) since I am remaking that part now.

I've an issue withthe latest version of CD. During the embassy quest everything stop after the first sex scene. My pc is release from the Zaz control and nothing happens. Also the amrbinder isn't remove (i try activating teh debug before the scene still not remove).

Any idea what can cause that ?

If you have control of your character then disable it and it may continue. If that does not get things going then use   sqv cdxexpquest02 and get the stage number. They increase by 5 each stage so just use   setstage cdxexpquest02 <stage + 5> and it will continue on.

 

As for why it happened likely something detected the end of the sex scene and hijacked it instead of letting my script follow up afterwards.

I've reached the end of the final level, but if I choose freedom, the Master says Markus will return my things, but I just get teleported to a room and nothing happens. I reenabled player controls, spoke with the Master again and it takes me through the same dialog line with the three choices. Is there a setstage or something I can use?

Are you sure you are using the latest version as that is something that I was sure that I fixed recently (v4.09+). The issue was it played the wrong scene once you are moved, it skipped the scene with Markus and him giving you your items and removing the CD items.

 

Make sure Markus is near you after the move, disable your controls and do the following:

 

startscene xx089066       xx is the load position of the mod, use  help cdx  and it will be the first 2 digits of any cd items.

I was just wondering where is the room that Master gives you to use, how and when do you get it?

My character is submissive, has done 26 errands, relationship is excellent, success rate is excellent, 0 release fees owed and is stuck with a collar and belt that Master won't remove, where does this end?

Are you a Relationship Slave? Ifso it is in the Manor on the first floor in the back left corner. Take the hallway past the dining room to the end, it is the last door on the left. There is little content currently but you should have been given a ring (there are more in a small chest on top of the wardrobe in the room) that will remove the belt.

 

 

If the items are left over from a quest that should have been removed (and not a Protector or Protector Plus item) then use the MCM menu option on the player page to remove them.

1. the pictures on the letters (backside of ad, front of task) are missing. 

2. played the Falkenreath quest. I assume i should install DD for him for this quest, i didn't expect this, though. ;) When he got the gag he also got underwear, everything else didn't show up and even the gag disappeared when he got the piering. At the end he had a lot of bad editor ids in inventory. No idea if it's supposed to be that way without DD for him.

It may have happened prior to the update that added it in within the last few versions sometime.

DD itself does not support males and has no meshes or anything else for them nor do they intend to, that is why I recommend the use of DD for Him.

for those that are having problems with the non quest items at the embassy, if you have cursed loot you can remove all the items via cursed loots "free me" in the debug menu. that is how i fixed the armbinder and the harness not being removed as their suppose to be. it also correctly ends the chastity belt quest as well.

Now I'm stuck in the property slave quest with a new pc. I'm on the 2nd quest to trade for ebony ingots with the orc smithy and the dialog

ends with no obvious option to trade for the ingots. Any code to bypass this stage?

Well, apparently I didn't link it to the next part of the dialogue. Use   set CdxSlavePropQ1Done to -1   and it will use the other dialogue track so you can finish it.
