I'm currently on "The Manor House Slave" quest, and every day i seem to get two instances of sweeping with the second always coming as the 4th task. Whenever i finish the second instance of sweeping and try to go back to Markus i only get the option "I am done for the day, whatever is left can wait."

 

I'm not sure if i get the two credits for his dialogue about punishment despite doing all 4 tasks, no credits at all, or even if I'm getting negative credits. I'm currently running the beta version that i just updated to, since i couldn't seem to find how to download any other version to update the mod from.

 

edit: prolly some helpful information, idk what version i was on prior, just that it was from august of last year.

do we still need 4.08 when we add 4.09? or just 4.05 and 4.09

 

Just 4.05 and 4.09, you don't need to uninstall 4.05, just uninstall 4.08 and then install 4.09 or just overwrite 4.08 with 4.09 as they have the same setup.

Hello Veladarius, thanks for the great update to a great mod. I've decided to help you test :) Here's the first part, I'll post more as I go through...

- In mine: second day not meeting quota, upon entering cage get error message box: Error has occured with your installation of Devious Devices, wearing conflicting device - about 5 times in a row; but other then messages, it all seems to work. No gear changes were made at this point and none expected. I've never seen that message before. Didn't occur on previous or subsequent days either.
Not sure on this error as no items are equipped or changed upon entering the cage.
 
- Ore pony: immediately attempted to escape, got caught by both Herran and Raccan; screen fades out then back in, but at this point nothing happened - both guards just left, but PC is stuck where caught, controls disabled; enabled controls - PC is running in place, can't leave the spot; disabled controls, reset idle, waited an hour - no change, so I reload a save.
- Second attempt to escape, in the other direction - similar result: PC is now stuck, shocked, on the floor, guards walked away.
The escape attempts are an issue I am working on, some people have said they worked while others it doesn't. I will check it over and see if possibly the paralysis is blocking things from advancing or if it is something else.
 
- Entice customers: Raccan says the client is very generous when the client was actually very critical.
The comment from Raccan refers to the tip amount they gave, his expectations on how much you bring in is not very high.
 
- Also, customer satisfaction is not affected if sexlab scene is stopped early - which is what other mods often check for.
It is set to detect when SexLab says the scene has stopped, I don't look for something specific such as the stage it has reached but I am not very proficient with it so there may be something I have missed. I will see about finding out about that. My only other thought is that something else ended it and kept the end Mod Event signal from being sent.
 
- The Cage - each time Master comes to talk to PC, we're left without controls. Does not seem intended to be this way.
Will add command to enable it
 
- Sometimes items are removed and re-equipped unnecessarily when PC is switched from a task to another one.
Most of these scenes are calling a function which the device change is part of the wardrobe change. Part of it is to get rid of extra items that may have been added that were not supposed to be by another mod so a blanket removal command is used.
 
- Lots of debug messages break immersion, but I suppose you'll remove them later.
Yes, these will be cleaned up and disabled.

The Manor House has not changed between versions so the issue would have happened on either version. I don't know why it is not disabling the sweeping task once has been done once already that day. The task system and tasks will be redone after 4.09 is completely finished (this version is my current progress which I released to address the major issues happening).

 

As to the credits you get I believe it ends up as 0 as you get none for the first 2, +1 for each additional completed and -1 for not finishing one.

If I remember correctly, this could be an issue with the "Bound Girls" feature from Deviously Cursed Loot being equipped with devices.

I have those limited to 5, and message did repeat 5 times… 

 

 

I would avoid or limit any mods that do random sex scenes or may add items as several of Cursed Loot's options do while a Property Slave as it could have negative effects on things. Generally everything that happens in CD is in a controlled environment and other mods that try to do things with the player may come up at an inopportune time and break a scene or cause other issues.

Just wanted to report that Master does not remove arm shackles with 4.09 Beta 1.  They are recognized in the list, and she will charge me, but then they don't come off.

 

Edit:  For both the "pay for all now" and the "pay for some" options, shackles are correctly identified under the armbinder/yoke slot, and I see the "removing arms" message, but they don't get removed.

i was testing out the confiscation part, master found the items and said hold on a min. however it doesnt start the check to see what is in the inventory. i checked to see if there was any keys and there wasnt, i can get it to forward the quest buy using setstage cdxconfiscation 25 and then 50, but it doesnt seem to be going there on its own,

That feature spawns bound NPCs around Skyrim cities and towns; should not conflict with CD in any way, in theory.

OK, I've hit a snag that I can't work around.

 

After bringing Alessia to Master, Master whips her in frenzy, then gives orders and walks on.

One of the guards is supposed to take PC to barracks.

The screen darkens, then returns again - nobody moved, we're still in Manor basement, PC controls are disabled.

Fiddling with controls does nothing; PC takes position but scene does not progress.

 

Any suggestions?

i was testing out the confiscation part, master found the items and said hold on a min. however it doesnt start the check to see what is in the inventory. i checked to see if there was any keys and there wasnt, i can get it to forward the quest buy using setstage cdxconfiscation 25 and then 50, but it doesnt seem to be going there on its own,

 

I'm having the same problem, Master just exits dialog after saying, "hold on a moment".  I had this problem intermittently with 4.08, but now it happens right off the bat, the first time I visit, with 4.09 :/

Ok for all of you Back seat mod authors... Only play with what he says is needed atm. Not your * and mine heehee* 150 other sex mods  it may help narrow down issues. I say this tied to a post spank if you must.

 


also Zaz does have a update patch please use it. It cuts down on many things.

as for the zaz mod, i updated it when shout mods said it needed it, so i have had that updated for a bit, i also use cursed loot. plus its requirements, since most are required for captured dreams as well. one person said that if there is a key in your inventory you get the looping wait a min, so i removed all keys before going to the shop, i dont know about how the scripts for the mod works, but there maybe one that isnt activating, i have removed all other mods that do not have the same requirements as cd and still get the issue.

I just noticed that your RegisterCDItems() function in cdxframework.psc duplicates "red" and "darkred" devices.

That is, the two sections are:

Would this not lead to the "darkred" ones overwriting the "red" ones? Or am I misunderstanding how DD registers items?

If they are DCUR items I will have to check that they are removed properly. If they are a new DD item and have their own keyword then they may not be removed as the script checks for the a common keyword used with armbinders and yokes but they have their own specific keywords that would need to be used to remove them. As it is I have not looked through the new DD items for anything that would have a new keyword.

Wait an hour then you will be moved. I am not sure why the scene stops there as everyone is at their marks so it should continue automatically.

What items do you have on or with you?

Are any or all of these DCUR or quest items? These are ignored by Confiscation.

 

The inventory check actually takes all normal items but not DCUR, items with the keyword BlockGeneric or QuestItem and as it goes marks if the type of item taken is something that can be equipped. There should be a number of notifications during this process and once done it will continue the dialogue (this is stage 30). If it took the keys then at a minimum she didn't find anything she could use and just took the keys but all of that would have dialogue shown.

Confiscation should not loop if you just have a key, if it finds no items it should skip to the end dialogue and take the key or at worst just end. I will check this scenario though.

Yes, that is an error but you would just get the red items for both red and dark red when tags are used to get items. I will fix this.

Yes, please disable other sex / DD mods that do things on their own when you are in CD scenes, quests or are a slave as it can break things. If I can't reproduce an issue then I can't fix it and I can't make these scenes compatible with other mods as most don't care what is already going on.

The gag was now again correctly applied, with belated delivery .. no idea what was the first fault ..

Also the devices with too high debt are regrettably now all removed, so unfortunately there are no additional punishments .. :(

Sometimes it seems to me the game has a little life of its own! ;)

Well, I tried dropping every DD item I had in my inventory, and it's still the same results.  Prior to that I did have those pesky arm shackles, which do appear to be DD 3.0 devices.  Traps and Pitfalls / DD Equip is adding them BTW, and I think DDe was updated to use DD 3.0 stuff.

 

I also tried the two item list resets to no avail.
