bloodlightg Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Hello. I'm having an issue as a property slave. I'm at 03 (or 02 I don't know the difference) and it's the 3rd day. The day starts as usual and I'm equipped with the usual gear. The problem starts here; my character walks to the gate normally (not with arms up) and stops at the front, there's no NPC talking and I'm completely ignored. Even if I wait for it to be 8 PM, nothing happens and I'm stuck in place. Not sure if it's a mod conflict or load order. I see no reason to halt all the fixes because CGi is experiencing tech difficulties. He can catch up later, (with the fixes for the non-English speaking players). You can post a English only and a Localized version when it gets made. I third that.

It will be the non-localized esp (English only), scripts and a few other files but once I can get a localized version and updated German translation then they will be released as well. Going forward I am looking to keep full installations (meshes and textures) to either when the full version has an update of some sort or every few releases and do update releases between them to minimize the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling everything especially when they have not changed.

So if you try to use a blacksmith tool and the animation is aborted, try to wait so the courier can reach you and deliver her message, then the blacksmithing will be possible.

I am looking to just make a new full version when there are changes to the meshes and textures, typically they would be when new items or npc's are added or things like that just to make sure people are not using mismatched files. Otherwise I think I just want to do updates of the relevant info (esp, scripts, strings and such). These would not need an installer as it would just replace what is already there. As for v4.06 these are the changes / fixes / updates so far: - uses the localized MCM script, info from v4.05 works - All new quest equip script function and should not have issues with collars and harnesses. Only issue is plugs falling out, I can hear the sound played for when they are removed as much as 2 seconds after the belt is fully equipped (get the quest notification). This has not been tested for items beyond the belt / collar / harness but the other items should work since they were easier to set up. - Still needs items made and added to the equip function arrays (blindfolds and strap panel gags) - There are several points that various scripts check to see if the array's have been set and if not it will trigger it to set them. The most manual one is the triggerbox outside the shop door. - fixed the timer on the Recovery quest, it was resetting the Delivery quest instead so the Recovery quest was always available but the Delivery quest wasn't if you were always doing the Recovery quest. - fixed the issue with the start of day not running for the Property Slave in the Smithy. - Normal belts not recognized at start of Delivery quest - Added quest versions of all blindfolds - Fixed link between Free Trial and Chaste Life with devices properly equipped - made adjustments to task assignment script for Manor Slave to (hopefully) fix the issue with tasks being assigned multiple times - fetching water task for Manor Slave was not set to be assigned - Set so Customer Assist 01 won't stop punishments (was set to delay punishments if CA01 was triggered now is reversed) - Updated dialogue conditions in Q & A to account for 0.5 increments - Fixed missing slot on several items - Changed Framework reset so player stats can be adjusted again, will need to speak with Master for them to take effect. - Fixed delivery quest so it won't remove Protector Plus items if they are added during the start of the quest - added restart option for task manager timer to MCM - added reset for quest device arrays as it may not set them properly the first time - added function for getversion() to CDxFramework script - added conditions to stop Master from asking about becoming a relationship slave over and over - updated quest device equip function to detect harnesses properly - Set so you can refuse the protector plus belt with chaste life active when doing the delivery quest - clear remaining settings in Property Slave that indicated the player was a property slave (3 script updates and some dialogue conditions) - Fixed issue with Free Trial items not being equipped - Fixed issue with conditions if dead courier had multiple deliveries (for whatever reason) - Fixed issue of protector bra being removed and not replaced after delivery quest - Fixed issue when protector belt being replaced after delivery using wrong keyword to equip - Allow base quests if God Cursed items are equipped if rank >= 15 - No plugs used in Free Trial - New colors of protector belts not being offered - Protector Amulet not removing new color items and likely a few other little things I forgot to write down

Looking at the DDi github, it seems the plugs sliding out will be removed in the next version anyway.

I am using the German version of CD and Master ist called "Jäger" and Herran ist called "Gast". I think it is a conflict with another mod but I didn't tested it. 2. Is there a way of removing the protector plus belt if I married and didn't talk to my spouse about having a D/s relationship? Master only says that she feels happy for me and gives me the password but I could not find out how to remove the belt. 3. If I try to use the CD furniture manipulation device, I always get a menu with "Lookup failed" in the header and not the correct strings in the body (for example "pillory", "stock", etc. instead of 45°, 90°, 180° and so on in the turning menu)

If CGi chose to use it then I will not say anything against it. But the rest of my propsal still stands

Is there a way of removing the protector plus belt if I married and didn't talk to my spouse about having a D/s relationship? Master only says that she feels happy for me and gives me the password but I could not find out how to remove the belt. 3. If I try to use the CD furniture manipulation device, I always get a menu with "Lookup failed" in the header and not the correct strings in the body (for example "pillory", "stock", etc. instead of 45°, 90°, 180° and so on in the turning menu) On the other things you asked about: 1- No idea on this but I would make sure that you are using the alternate esp / string set in the download section. 2- Make sure Chaste Life is disabled and take your spouse to see Master. You may have to speak with your spouse after that but Master has to meet them. 3- Likely an issue with the translated message, #1 may correct this but I'm not sure.

I can see translating it into German simply because it is a type of item not the name of them. I will let others weigh in with their opinion until I release it. Actually i felt the same like seelenode, but "Aufgabengeräte" is already used by CGI, i thought it would be better if i don't mix things. In german we often just merge 2 nouns to a single one, so Quest= Aufgabe, Devices = Geräte, and quest devices are Aufgabengeräte. Okay. Then we should use "Aufgabengeraete". If CGi chose to use it then I will not say anything against it. But the rest of my propsal still stands Nothing against the other things. About your "Jäger" stuff, you need the patch in downloads.
seelenoede Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Currently I am making a few more fixes to things but so long as I don't find any major issues (other than the Customer Assist quests) or CGi checks in I am looking to do an update release sometime tomorrow (Tuesday). It will be the non-localized esp (English only), scripts and a few other files but once I can get a localized version and updated German translation then they will be released as well. Going forward I am looking to keep full installations (meshes and textures) to either when the full version has an update of some sort or every few releases and do update releases between them to minimize the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling everything especially when they have not changed. The only problem i have with that would be that i propably won't wait for the translation... are there any changes in the MCM? If not i could use the translations file for that, that's the only thing that could go weird installing english mods afaik, but even if there is a workaround, just have to read how to do it There are only a few adjustments to the MCM but I will be including the existing German translation. If someone wants to translate the following 4 lines for me I can add them in to it: - Restart Task Manager - Use if it looks like the Task Manager has stopped updating daily. This will not reset or change current timer values. - Set / Reset Quest Device Array's - Use if no quest devices are being equipped and scenes where they should be don't advance I'm a bit tired, might not be perfect, for example not sure how to translate "task manager", in the german windows it's just called "task manager" either... that's probably why every translation i make up sounds weird to me.
