Papyrus warnings/errors - Anything that I need to fix, and if so, how? Also Smithy start of day fix script, I use MO, should I merge it with CD's main mod, or install it as its own mod? - Thanks! :)

 

Only the items that have a CDx prefix on the script name are mine and those will not affect the mod, they are leftover things that are isolated and not used and tracking down what is calling on them is being difficult.

I have the shiny catsuits and Slave Leia renewal mods installed, but nothing shows up in the merchant lists for the npcs in the shop.  Are they supposed to sell the things from those two mods or are they just used for npc outfits?

It just enables the quests. There is specific requirements that have to be met before you'll actually get them though. For instance, the manor expansion has to be completed to a specific stage. Check the mod page, the requirements for the quests are listed in one of the spoilers. Master should send a courier, with a message to you when she wants you for one of them. (If its enabled in MCM)

Yes, it can take time for them to trigger since the 4 quests are a one time only quest. Most of them have the requirement of having a ranking with Master of 12 or more (above neutral) at which point the timer starts running. The average time for the timer is 7 days at which point it checks to see if it should run (random value + 2x your level), if it does fire you should receive a letter about it but it is only available for a few days at which point the timer resets. If it decides not to give you the quest then the timer will reset.

 

As I add more quests the time between them will be less since there will be more of them in the queue.

so first of all amazing mod. I, however, have encountered some immersion breaking instances so to speak. I'm constantly needing to reset idle pose and/or  disable/enable player control to get things moving, especially in the punishment sections. That trip to the embassy was torture, and not of the enjoyable kind.Is that normal?

Been in the cage after being back from the Thalmor Embassy and I've tried like 500 times to get out of that yoke and it sometimes says look for they key but I'm pretty sure there is none.  Found the satchel, got the picks and they don't get added to my inventory.  It's been three days and I've literally struggled all night every night and that yoke is not coming off.  During the day my stamina does not regen (vampire) so I can no longer attempt to struggle.  No key, no lockpicks, no one coming back it seems, think she left me there to die.  Stage 4 vampirism with Better Vampires, blood starved.  Stage 5 is probably coming soon and I get to burn to ash when the sun comes up.  What is the deal with the cage and this supposed key?  Are the lockpicks bugged or am I just supposed to be dead? 

Turns out that Master is a Thalmor after all her bullshit about being some benign caretaker for helpless people who become willing slaves in exchange for some kind of protection for the cruel world.  Just going to have to eviscerate her when and if I ever get out of the cage.  Was wondering what Elenwyn would still be doing in Skyrim since the war ended in Stormcloak victory.  You would think that the Thalmor would have received a rather unpleasant eviction notice not too long after that.

I can't downlaod it, it downloads the whole thing then just before it finishes it says failed-network error then i try to resume the download and it says Failed-Needs authorization (I'm using chrome)

Thanks.  It was wilderness cage, I think a ways west of the shop and south of that one fort on the cliff just at the edge of the Reach.  I just decided to wait and he came the next day.  Guess maybe because I wasn't waiting long enough.  Took me awhile but once I made it back to Whiterun (was that fun...) and paid the blacksmith to get that damn yoke off I was able to force my way out of most of the gear.  Made a piercing removal tool and a key to get off the arm cuffs, not sure when I got the ability to make those but I'm glad I checked the forge to see if there was anything helpful.  After that I was ready to get payback so Captured Dreams (and the Thalmor embassy) is now a graveyard.  Made a save before my rampage though cause I want to finish the mod the right way.  Maybe it was a waste of time to do it just to rewind, but it felt damn good to grab the Master and ram my dagger into her face.

 

I am enjoying the mod.  Sometimes it's fun to get pissed off.

You wouldn't be able to do that in my modded CD.  You see in my version of the CD, the Master or any shop staff, yes that includes Herran, will POP arrest you when you hit them. Then you'll be spending a week in Falkreath jail, that should help make you docile, no?

 

By the by, you cannot struggle out of yokes. You have to have a restraints key in your inventory, then ask someone for help and, unless they are a good friend i.e. your house carl or a follower they may, or may not help you.

On that note:

Is this the intention, that you are no longer supposed to escape the wilderness cage? Because I got the yoke every time I triggered this punishment. Or can you still get an armbinder? Does it maybe depend on how pissed off Master is? It just seems a bit odd that there is a satchel with lockpicks that you can pick up but not use because you are in a yoke that you can't struggle out of.

I suppose I didn't make my problem clear enough. Well, for example, when being first prepared to punishment, that herran guard pushes me back when stripping me of my clothes and Master just stands there. I have to enable controls, move closer, then disable controls from the mcm menu every single time.  As for the embassy mission there was a lot of nothing happening unless I reset idle pose again from the mcm menu.

It is random as to which one gets used. If you go to the devices page in the MCM menu you can disable the use of yokes. I intend to add an option as to which gets used more often.

I will see what I can do about Herran pushing you out of position, usually it isn't far enough to cause an issue. As for the issues in the Embassy that should have been fixed in ZAZ Animation Pack v6.11 and later (v6.10 was the cause of the problem).

EDiT: POP arrest sounds very immersive can we have that? Idk, a patch perhaps? Until Vel does something about master's slaves being allowed to attack her willy-nilly?

 

EDiT2: You know POP arrests are good if they even scare a disobedient schizobion there.

I did over 20 errands for the master but I didn't reseive one of the 4 quest in the mcm menu. They are activated. 

 

It is random as to when it gives it to you but the higher your level the higher the chance of it happening. It will check when the timer reaches 0 then either send for you or reset (there is a timer as to how long it is available as well).

 

In SQV CDxTaskManager you will see the following variables:

Timer_ExpQuest01 - 04   timer as to when it checks again

Avail_Expquest01 - 04    If the quest is available to be done: -1 expansion not far enough, 0 not available, 1 available, 2 done

 

Chance for them to be available is 30 or 40 (depends on the quesst) + 2x your level

 

Timer length varies and is usually a range, shortest is 3-5 days and the longest is 4-10 days. They are not meant to be available almost immediately like they were before.

Well, my pc woke up from her revenge fantasy dream and went back to work and once again couldn't help mouthing off to the master once returning from her task so now she's in the mine and spent all day working her way out of her harness instead of mining and when Mecius checked the barrel rather than finding ore he found Delenna's plugs and harness in it.  He bound Delenna and prepared to whip her as punishment only he realized he didn't have a whip and since he's not allowed to beat her with anything else, just stands there forever with his fists up and the scene is now stuck... so...  wondering how to fix this.

 

Do help zbf and find the whip or crop, should be xx001004 or xx001001 I think and equip him with one of them.

It is random as to when it gives it to you but the higher your level the higher the chance of it happening. It will check when the timer reaches 0 then either send for you or reset (there is a timer as to how long it is available as well).

 

In SQV CDxTaskManager you will see the following variables:

Timer_ExpQuest01 - 04   timer as to when it checks again

Avail_Expquest01 - 04    If the quest is available to be done: -1 expansion not far enough, 0 not available, 1 available, 2 done

 

Chance for them to be available is 30 or 40 (depends on the quesst) + 2x your level

 

Timer length varies and is usually a range, shortest is 3-5 days and the longest is 4-10 days. They are not meant to be available almost immediately like they were before.

 

So if Timer_ExpQuest* is 0 and stays 0 for several in-game weeks (5, so 35 days) despite me satisifying the prerequisites mentioned in the OP, does that mean the timer is busted for some reason or me being too inpatient? ^_^"

 

 

Can you still do the delivery and recovery quests? If so then most likely it does not think you meet the prerequisites for the quest as they all use the same timer, likely it does not believe you have met the requirements. Is this happening for all four of the quests or just a few, some have conflicting requirements so you can't get both?

 

Quest 01 still has my test value in for rechecking so it will check again every day after the first check.

Similarly, I'm having a problem where I go to master and we have this conversation:

Master: "Let's talk for a moment shall we?"

Me: "Of course, what did you need?"
Master: "You seem to like wearing that belt, but wouldn't you like something custom fitted?"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Master: "You want someone to keep you and be your master."
At which point the conversation simply ends and she says one of the voiced default goodbye phrases, like "Until next time." Talking to her again repeats the conversation, and so I'm locked out of having any conversation with her.

 

Just did some testing and, taking off my chastity belt and bra I was wearing before talking to her caused a different conversation, however after accepting slavery and so forth, trying to purchase something still results in the conversation ending early.

So I am considering a new game and a fresh install to play this wonderful new version, but I am unsure about bodies / clothes / armors to install.

Does anyone want to recommend their favorite body/texture/armors that is compatible with Captured Dreams? I have tried Sevenbase multiple times, but I have issues with the Devious Bras auto-resizing to a super small chest.

I tried Tiddy McButt body but using bodyslide, I still had issues with the Bra and full arm restraints not fitting perfectly.

Is UNP just the easiest method?

This is from Confiscation, it can drop from the dialogue while it is checking over what you have. If it comes up be patient on the dialogue as pushing through it can make it drop out, especially if you have a lot of items in your inventory.

Master: "You seem to like wearing that belt, but wouldn't you like something custom fitted?"

Me: "What do you mean?"

Master: "You want someone to keep you and be your master."

This may be a condition issue where the conditions on the following dialogue are not met for some reason and has nowhere to go.

The breast resizing is an option in DDi and can be disabled, it is used to reduce the size of them under the bra.

 

DD will soon be switching to CBBE Bodyslide and UUNP for all of its meshes. Currently CD supports primarily CBBE clothing though there may be UUNP conversions of them available, I am not sure. My suggestion on which body to use is to see what armors you like are available in which body type and go from there, I use CBBE as there are more armors that I use that are CBBE and have no UUNP conversion.
