Guest Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Cd itself doesn't require PapyrusUtil but some of the mods it requires do. I would suggest the latest version as some mods that include it may have older versions packaged with them and can cause issues. Nobody got ambitious this was released by @Ashal PapyrusUtil 3.0, beta 4 Its the one I use with no problems so far. Thanks for the link. It's a beta. For Beta testers. (It's in the title). I restarted, I'm going to guess "load order" or maybe the weather. Or Obama. I messed with mother nature (I creation-kit-modded the CD ESP). That more than anything else Prolly messed it up. I had a vague remembrance that your esp cannot be edited without dire consequences, But I thought it was a myth, edited it anyway, and forgot about it. Kara and what's-her-name never looked so good. Everything seemed fine. So I forgot I even edited it, and the above quote was spawned.
MonkeyKoala Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Curious about somethings. I have just test it with mixed feelings. As far I have gone it seems the player can't remove plugins, in order to play other quests - story lines in game. Also it seems that removes the option to wear hoods. Next part which I really hated was the Thalmor Embassy part... in which the player is slave to Elenwen wow the worst enemy of the player (at least in the stormcloak side). As stormcloak I wish I could have her slave, torture, baked and killed her thousand times, not been her slave. So I am wondering if there is alternative ways? Yeah, we felt the same way; thought that was a pretty miserable experience (other than the legitimately funny Ailus bit and guard dialogue). By the end of that, we wanted to kill Elenwen, The Master, and Haldor, not just because of the game crashing at every sex scene, but jusr how lore breaking and over the top it was. At least in the SexSlave mod, after the paralized/torture/follower rape scene, you were able to kill the assailant... this one ignored your dominance, ignored that your character could mop the floor with everyone in the shop and embassy combined, and was just an intolerable slog. Some folks might be into it, but a better description, letting you know that there really isn't any dominant option or any reward to subjecting yourself to the quests would help folks that aren't looking for this avoid it.

If it is so my little poor opinion is that it has a lot of good work done in the whole mod but with not a goal in the end. It seems the story was cut or made till the middle point. Reaching a crescent piu alto point and stops there, not really the quests but the story behind it. Last I find the removal of having the ability to wear a hood for people who use light armor and especially for those who are trying to role play a character at least in the appearance a bit frustrated. The best sight in my opinion wearing a mysterious armor - cloth in Oblivion & Skyrim was when you become the Listener in DB Oblivion. So if someone prefers a certain appearance look would not welcome the removal. Just to remember a view with memories. In the SexSlave mod the story goes very well, it has a pick point after the prologue and continues slowly down from the medium to the end and I believe it will have other pick points in the following story mod. Haven't checked if Captured dreams conflict a bit the SexSlave story in the area, will check it...

CD, like most slavery mods doesn't work very well if you want your char to be the mighty Dragonborn. Play it with a weak PC, one who doesn't have yet understood the might of her blood, one who struggle for her life and freedom, and you will have a different opinion. For such a PC the Thalmor embassy fit well, and give your PC the will to discover what is hidden in her, so she can have her revenge later.

As stormcloak I wish I could have her slave, torture, baked and killed her thousand times, not been her slave. So I am wondering if there is alternative ways? I play a hardcore Nord Stormcloak as well, but the Thalmor Embassy quest is my favorite. [Little story time] You see, after killing thousands of Thalmor Justiciars and freeing my brothers/sisters in arms and exterminating all the Thalmor death squads sent after me. I even got to infiltrate their embassy during a party for the Blades quest, and kill every single Thalmor soldier in there. Being that powerful gets monotonous after a while. So, when Master said to take that letter to the Thalmor embassy I expected to find the deserted place I left. Imagine my surprise when I saw Elenwen, and the embassy full of guards once again ... I started to panic, I wasn’t afraid of Elenwen but I was wearing one of Master’s unremovable outfits, and Master is after all a Thalmor. Imagine that, the only person in Skyrim able to bring me to my knees was a Thalmor, my enemy. Anyway, I started preparing to “Fus Ro Dah” my way out of that situation when Elenwen started smiling after having read the letter and said something about a ring ... then all the sudden I was under her control. After that, I started to “switch” back to my submissive personality, and did whatever she told me to, wasn’t like I could resist her anyway, what with me being bound, gagged and helpless all the time. After all I did killed the Thalmor in droves, so a little payback on their part was well warranted. After it was all over I thought to go back to kill them all again, but all the Thalmor became too friendly, so I couldn’t do it. So I guess we are allies now. But this might be just my “switch” personality.
LoneWolfFL Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Found a bug. Not sure if this occurs with anyone else, but this mod started to interfere with my crafting. Whenever I entered an enchanting table, a grinding stone, or any crafting location, the 'enter crafting' animation would play, then immediately after, the 'exit crafting' animation would play. This made it impossible to craft. I had to uninstall.

Whenever I entered an enchanting table, a grinding stone, or any crafting location, the 'enter crafting' animation would play, then immediately after, the 'exit crafting' animation would play. This made it impossible to craft. I had to uninstall. It seems to be caused if game tries to run some package on player character - like travel for example. only time i've seen it in CD was LONG time ago during customer assist scene - quite sure it was fixed shortly after. You can try in the console SetPlayerAIDriven 1 with a bit of luck you will find out what kind of package tries to do something with your character. Being that powerful gets monotonous after a while. Never get bored of it As for embassy quest: had my fun getting even on the master using sexlab defeat - best part is you can do so safely because tying NPC down by defeat cease hostility. So it does not break CD storyline anyhow. Well, it does breaks immersion when you leave master in harness, armbinder etc and she keeps that arrogant behavior of hers had my fun with Thalmor guards. My new hobby now is to hunt their patrols and make them regret that they are not in Summerset Isles right now... So only thing left is to hope i would get some private time with Elenwenn one day. With a whip in my hand and cuffs on hers...

The cause of that is a force greet that does not end properly so the game continues to think someone is talking to you and forces you out of the crafting stations. I have taken several precautions to make sure the scene ends (a new stage at the end of the phase and dialogue along with a quick 'blank' scene) but if something happens and you manage to make it out before then it can cause the issue (ANY forcegreet can cause this).
Veladarius Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 As for the story being cut short, yes it was. I had intended to add a good bit of dialogue in v3 but the natives were getting very restless so I cut back on what I included (that won't happen with v4) and the overall story has several major releases before it is done. As I remember v2 had, at most, about 2000 lines of dialogue and v3 has 5000 and v4, so far, is nearing 7000 and there is a lot still to add. V3's focus was the shop, v4's focus is quests, scenes and dialogue. As for dom content that is one of the major points of v4 as well as reworking the expansion quests (and the rest of them, too).
Veladarius Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 As for Dom content, it is rather hard to build. The difficulty is this: How do you set up a scene where the player can do whatever they want from a number of different things that can be done in any order without having to use dialogue for everything? My solution: Various options are triggered by objects set up as activators. Want to whip someone? Go pick up the whip. Want to use some furniture? Pick up the catalog. Want to chain them to the wall? Go get the chains. Want to hog tie them? Go get some leather strips. To do this will require at least 40 mini scenes per location used There are dialogue based options which are determined by what position they are in but most everything is triggered by an object. Dom content is the hardest type to do well.

Writing for doms is just hard for me. Something to do with my personality, I suppose. Aha! That makes a bit more sense... so it's not just a scene with possibly randomly selected bits, it's actually player controlled? That actually makes it a bit easier to write, I would think... instead of a generic "i like whips" it becomes "i like this whip, i'm gonna whip you" style of thing. Do the NPCs also manually select (randomly?) which item to use, thus triggering specific dialogue?

NPC's will have a modular structure as well with scenes having a primary and secondary structure: Primary: Putting the player in stocks Secondary: spank them whip them tease/fondle them have sex lock an item on them dialogue based on position move to other position What exactly they do will be heavily influenced by their 'personality' as well as yours so each scene (actions and dialogue) will be randomly generated based on the npc and the player. when i try to complete the first quest my character just stands near jarl and nenya and i cannot move how can i fix it? Smithnikov Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I had to restart another character since nothing i did, including speeding up the script speed in the .ini file for SKSE, seemed to stop the game from freezing right after my gear was taken. For now, going to just leave the Captured Dreams main quest alone unless I get another solution.
RegisteredUser Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Wow, Veladarius... you certainly have very ambitious plans! I'm looking forward to seeing the end result
Veladarius Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 Rebuilt the quest to remove devices. Master will remove all the devices and the prices vary depending on the item, player level and mod difficulty setting. A number of items from Cursed Loot will also be removed for a extra fee. This was for 9 items, character was level 13 and difficulty was 'normal': While it was cheaper than getting an armbinder, gag and blindfold removed before you can rack up more debt since any item's removal can be put on credit.
