Mr.H32 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Okay, I fixed the last issue I had with the guard not moving in the Expansion quest. I tried what verstort said and started a new game to see if it was a problem with the save and I noticed the the 'hands wandering' animations weren't playing when the effect started, so I re-ran FNIS and that fixed it. (Thanks guys!) But.... Now I'm having trouble with the Erani quest. Firstly, when the quest start I'm given objective 1, with direction etc., but in the CD menu in the Mod window under 'Erani quest options' it reads quest not started. Later.... After defeating the slavers at the tower where she's being held, I talk to her, explain I have to deliver a message to Ulfric, and that she should wait for me there, and everything seems to work how it should. And yet.... When I get to the palace of kings and speak to Ulfric, quest objective four I believe, the quest objrctive isn't marked as done in my journal, and he retains the little pointy...what it called? Arrow? Whatever--over his head, but the quest still gives me the next objective to get back to Erani. I followed the quest all the way back to the CD Shop, spoke with master, got her devices taked care of by De'Zra, but the quest won't end because the 'talk to Ulfric' objective is still active. I've tried it a few times from the begining, with no luck. Does anybody have a fix for this? I'll skim through the topic and see if i find anything, but if you have any suggestions please let me know. EDIT: I couldn' find anything in the topic that has the same problem listed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you get this message everywhere or just in the shop/house? Did the message start showing up when you installed the mod or part way through the expansion quest (maybe the house/embasy is trying to generate bookshelves? Do they even have bookshelves?) I assume you don't have any mods that alter bookshelf behaviour since you didn't mention it. Wild guess: it has something to do with the game trying to create or move the advertisement letters and request letters, since those are the only book items I think this mod uses, except for the training book and pendant recipe.

I did, now my character has been on a ridiculously long automated walk sequence away from the embassy, is that supposed to happen?

It should have released control immediately, it isn't set up to have you go anywhere after that. The time cutoff is about 6pm as I remember, possible a little earlier (an hour maybe).

I see, so I can continue to progress through the mod, but the objective marker will remain up becuase the quest is still under construction?
Kerna Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Ok I have been playing through on a new play-through and I've just finished the second expansion quest with no crashes using the 3.81 version so, Thank you Vel for what ever you fixed. Still a slight bug for you in the cell door physics shape seams to be offset from the visual object inset into the cell so if you move to the side and run into the wall and then side step you are able to escape the cell there are still a few alignment issues with the equipment as well but I'm guessing that's more a ZAZ/Sexlab issue easily worked around by just pressing E while in the device and it should realign you

yolobomber Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 i don't know why but at the moment that my pc is suposed to get on the triangled thingie from zaz pack, in the furniture testing my pc is just standing there not doing anything, als if i go to first person on a furniture and move my head my character gets rotated.

A way that seems to work is after the assist customer quest is ask to keep the chastity belt etc on then sell the piercing to the master. You have to get rid on the chatity belt and the other bits now though (the best things in life are not free). This might work in the other cases where the master strips you and puts you in a belt but not tried any of them.

After becoming a tree, I found Veledarius's advice to "enableplayercontrols" and so I did. Then the game enslaved me to myself, I'm apparently a slave to my own desires. I'm stealing money from myself. I cannot see myself, the POV camera is broken. And of course, I cannot escape myself, to end the enslavement. Spriggans applaud and say stuff like "Looks like we got a [dirty person] here" which just reminds me of that story "deliverance" about the south, in the woods. I'm officially stuck. By the time you all read this I'll probably have restarted. But if your Christmas sucks, I hope this distracted you.

The quest is completed in the CK but it does not finish entirely for about 2 days after your return, there is still something to do. My theory was that there was something happening between Integration, SexLab and ZAZ that had to do with the animations, Integration has been changed to use some of the ZAZ functions now so that may have cleared it up. There are still some parts of the outfit that need setting up in Integration, once that is done they will be released properly.

I don't know about UFO, but AFT has an MCM option "Catch up on weapon draw" that, if unchecked, will prevent your followers from magically teleporting to you. Does UFO have a similar option?
