Is there a version without a MCM menu, quests, and all the additional scripts? IOW I only need the store itself and its vendor.

 

Uh no, but between playing the game and messing with mods themselves in editing myself and others might give you some pointers on installation.

Heh, yeah. People still developing 32bit applications should be locked into a basement without electricity to get a taste for the stone age era their minds are obviously stuck in. Nobody in their right mind still has a 32bit OS installed on any computing device more powerful than a toaster. This is 2014.

This is the last version before starting to add punishments and a lot of the other stuff such as custom items. It still has the delivery quest with it but no punishment or thieves. Install v 1.60 then the v1.61 bug fix and overwrite any files. This version has not been updated since it was made but should work, most of the scripts in it are still used now and unchanged.

Er sorry, I didn't consider that you might not have created a FNIS Folder for your MO profile,

 

Yep you should really start with an empty overwrite folder then run FNIS finish that,

 

Then Right Click Overwrite Folder, Create Mod, Name that "FNIS 8/11/2014" then just check that box, from there your FNIS stuff is safe pretty much until you decide its time to get new animations.

 

Sorry about that.

 

Ditto of the above with Bashed Patch, pretty much anything you run app wise will appear in the Overwrite folder, like ReProccur apps.

Oh, I have FNIS in its own folder in MO.  There are actually 5 FNIS related folders in my MO profiles, each covering a range of related animations and spells.  MO shows one of these as being overwritten by something else, and as none of the other FNIS mods have a +ve file change, the overwrite must be coming from another mod outside of this FNIS base, and I think that's what's causing some of the Overwrite folder entries - or maybe not

 

 What I did manage to do, though, was, using Mod Organizer and TES5Edit + Script Merge as you suggested, for the first time ever,

 

1 - install the Tes Arena MOD in MO using the Fomod to add everything but the North Keep location

2 - activated the individual locations esps in MO

3 - used TES5Edit+Merged Script v1.6 to merge those back into one, and MOVED that merged esp, PLUS all the extracted and merged meshes, textures, and sounds that appeared under new folders, bearing the name of the new merged esp, as these appeared in the Overwrite folder, back into the original Mod folder 

 

That process doesn't seem to touch the scripts in the original set up. I have no idea if they still/will work on the merged esp that is now running, or if there is any possibility that they may 'fail at any point'

 

Does that make any sense, relative to how you do it? 

 

Next time, though, and what I meant to do this time but forgot :@ ,was, before doing the merge, to copy off the Overwrite folder contents out of harm's way, only then do the esp merge, save it to the now clean Overwrite folder, copy the outcome content, new merges esp etc, which should then only have been created during the merger process, back to the original mod folder.  Lastly, then delete whatever is now in the Overwrite folder, and copy back into that now empty Overwrite folder what were the original set aside contents.  After that, I'll sit back and let MO then make any new tweaks to itself on the next run.  I think that's probably a better bet, as long as I've got the logic something like right!

 

The game seems to work fine enough, the CD Shop is now no longer built over, and I have wandered round a fair bit of a couple of the other Tes Arena locations from the merged esp, in particular Granite Hall.  Buildings seem complete, the guards are named correctly and have different uniform colours from the standard ones, NPCs talk to you, some have stuff to trade, and so on, but I was just a bit worried that the conversation is all a bit basic.  For instance, I thought that the jarl/head courtier/housecarl there should maybe have some significant, quest etc, based type of conversation, rather than just the general sort of gruffish greeting and farewell, ie 'hello, how are you' and 'OK, good, cheerio and disappear quickly, boyo'.  :shy:    I've left a query on the Tes Arena Nexus forum to ask the author if there should be, and I'll see where it goes from there

 

I've a feeling that all that just sounds too weird for words, and that maybe I would be better paying a visit to some nice young person with a white coat, but I'll see what happens.  I can always resurrect the past position if need be..... LOL

 

But, if it continues to hold up, then I'll have a go at something else..... :P

EDIT:  As to the scripts...The mod author's response was

 

'NO, the scripts wil not work, for make it work you must go in the CK, found the script, and recompile them. Its easy and fast, when im merge this take me 10 minutes.'

 

Now, I have to see if I can make the CK work.  But I have a horrible feeling that, if I read you right in your earlier comment above, that can't be used to do that sort of thing from within, or through, MO?  And I too will have to pack up all the new merged mod data and bung it into my nice clean Skyrim folder, with NMM, to fix it?

Yes. I have not made a version that doesn't since Integration provides the locking mechanism's.

actually it'd be nice if there were some government team developed to hunt down stone-age software being obsoleted by 64-bit pc's and bring their authers out the closet to re-develop and/or host a team of developers to convert the software to 64bit - had my dad ask me earlier this month to build him a pc that was still 32bit cause he's still using 16 bit software on his xp and needs a more powerful pc for multitasking that's still capable of running his old software

any version of the shop would have to require DDi to work as the devices worn by the slaves And the merchandise are both DDi

Potions Question:

I googled "essence of submission" but other than the million links nothing was for this mod, I do not think.

"Potion of reversion" maybe I'd have  better luck, I'll try that next.

The registry book just says "submissive", not "Very-submissive" or "submissive level 4" so I did not think there were levels of domination/submission, but there are those potions.

Were these a TBD project or did I miss a quest?

This coming from someone who's done umpteen errands waiting for the delayed-gratification effect...hmm

1) 255 mod limit has nothing to do with the program being 32 bit or 64 bit.  It just means that the variable keeping track of the mods installed is a single byte aka it's value range is only 0-255.  Literally every other type of numeric variable has a significantly larger range (even just the next step up has a range of 0-65,535), so you can blame whichever moron at bethesda decided to use that variable type.

 

2) There is very little reason to use 64-bit over 32-bit unless you need more than ~ 4GB of RAM.  Personally, I have only rarely ever seen Skyrim break 3 GBs, though I've never been particularly close to the 255 mod limit either.

Even the vanilla game encroaches on the memory limit from time to time, and depending on what your mods are doing, you can start looking real hard about how to shift the burden off your physical ram really quick. Granted, Skyrim only being 32 bit is only one of it's problems. Another, arguably significantly more important is the outdated engine it runs on. Personally I think the reason they got away with it is because it was a console release and the problem is very minor given how far behind consoles have typically been from modern computers.

 

The reason I want the next Bethesda game to be 64bit isn't because I want to use more than 4 gigs of ram (I do, but it's secondary), but because it will force Bethesda to use a newer game engine.

These were made before I added the MCM menu. They will raise or lower your Disposition score, the submissive ones will lower it and the Domination will raise it. The reversion potion will set the ranks with the npc's back to the starting value of 10.

I'm experiencing some bugs.. not sure exactly what's causing them. I have all of the necessary requirements (as far as I know). My character is using a custom CBBE body and I have HDT enabled. HDT wouldn't explain the arm binder issue (I think); but in addition to the arm binder issue I've also noticed my character's boobs hang through the chastity bra, I'm assuming that issue is from HDT.

The CBBE bra was made specifically for the standard CBBE body with no BBP or TBBP movement. There are some mods around that have BBP and TBBP meshes of the devices that you can use, many are BodySlide compatible as well.

 

For the armbinder, do you have to struggle to get out of it? If not then it is likely a script issue with Integration. If the struggling works then it may be an issue with the animation, make sure you have the required version of ZAZ Animations and ran FNIS.

I am constantly at or very near the limit though I just recently merged a number of things together and gained about 15 slots for esp's. One of the things I merged was all the jewelry and piercing mods along with the addon's I made for CD, worked perfectly. Now I am ready to add more armors and fill that space again (and probably merge a number of them again).

Im running into a problem with this mod, multiple problems actually.

First of all when i equip anything from this mod it doesn't show up on the character but it has the preview thingy/mesh/whateveryouwannacall it in the inventory

second when i try to finish the delivery quest the master will talk to me and ask me if i want to get rid of the bondage stuff but i dont even have anything equipped and it wont allowe me to finish the quest.

Any help on that?

It sounds like you have not registered ZAZ animation pack in its MCM menu.  If you did you wouldn't be able to use quite a few functions like TAB, attacks, and or see even.

 

Once you've registered in ZAZ, you have to register in Devious Device Integration.  There is a menu option in the MCM you have to click it.

 

You also need to run FNIS for users app (required or animations won't work or cause problems). (This is an out of game app you have to run for animations each time you make a change to your animations you have to re-run this)

 

Double Check that you actually have Devious Devices Integration and not just "Expansion" you have to have both or Captured Dreams should crash your game at startup...but weird things happen in Skyrim right so just check.

 

Once you have registered Devious Devices Inegration in its MCM you save your game and then load your game, the script will then fire off that its been integrated (You Will See a Prompt on game screen where other messages normally appear)...Then you save your game and play from there.  There is a menu option to register, you have to click it.

 

You also need Devious Assets, but it should have crashed again cause its a dependency but double check anyway.

 

If your not using CBBE or UNPB...A google search should yield results for your body type and lead you back to Lover's Lab where your going to find about every body type for the Assets.  Example I use 7base there are meshes for 7B.  There are also meshes for HDT CBBE with Outfit Studio sliders.

Belisario has made UNPB pregnancy Devices meshes, so you have quite a few choices to pull from for your character.

Well, I got the arm binder to work.. sort of. I created some new meshes in Bodyslide and that seemed to fix the issue, however there are still some clipping issues I'll have to try to address later. But at least it works. The chastity bras however do not seem to have been affected at all by their new meshes as my character's boobs still hanng through the bottom of them. What is the file path for the meshes, is it the same as DD?

The other issue I think may be a script error of some kind. After I paid the Master to take some of the gear off of my character (in this case the iron chastity belt and plugs) my character immediately felt the need to.. relieve some pent up tension.. even though the arm binder was still on, and this happened.

The Chastity Bra,

 

Outfit Studio can be weird at times, I made an HDT one.

I opened the mesh in nifskope and altered the Z-axis.  Another try that yielded results was placing it on an existing body and saveing.  Re-opened the file, and removed the body, it corrected its placement on the boobs.  Both ways worked for me.

 

Masterbation on Belt Removal

This is a default feature of Devious Devices Integration,

You need to turn this off or most quests in Captured Dreams will bug out.

Go to MCM DDI menu

Find "Events" menu

Scroll to the bottom

Uncheck Masterbate on belt removal

 

Note on Armbinder,

-Its not easy to have working, it also isn't totally going to work the way it should 100% of the time.

-The authors have in the past removed it

-But put it back in by popular demand, not everyone minds that sometimes your arms move out, when you have it working the player cannot make attacks, get into the menu, or fast travel.

-For the most part there are going to be times where armless hands make a temporary appearance this is not 100% avoidable and is a know issue.

-Its still a heck of lot of fun.

the 1 - 255 limit is a very common, very old issue with programmers and its neither 16 or 32 bit, more like 8 bit coding shows how old that issue or line of code in the engine is, think i remember that type issue back in the 90's with other older games

back then graphics had the same 8bit limitation is how could tell ya, the graphics so low you knew how many colors were in it

i ran into your problem alot, but recently discovered there's an update out for both cbbe and tbbp  released for integration and the expansion, then i found out you can open the data folders and run bodyslide  adjusting things to match better

only issue i have with the bra now are on npc's

your problem sounds like you might be missing a requirement with either assets or integration or expansion Or those files that you have are outdated for the mod - would start with assets, then try checking for the devious devices integration mcm and see that its working, then check that its current with the mod - 2.76 or later i think should work

Once you have registered Devious Devices Inegration in its MCM you save your game and then load your game, the script will then fire off that its been integrated (You Will See a Prompt on game screen where other messages normally appear)...Then you save your game and play from there.  There is a menu option to register, you have to click it.

 

You also need Devious Assets, but it should have crashed again cause its a dependency but double check anyway.

 

If your not using CBBE or UNPB...A google search should yield results for your body type and lead you back to Lover's Lab where your going to find about every body type for the Assets.  Example I use 7base there are meshes for 7B.  There are also meshes for HDT CBBE with Outfit Studio sliders.

Belisario has made UNPB pregnancy Devices meshes, so you have quite a few choices to pull from for your character.

Thanks im going to try that.

I indeed do have all the depencies installed and i used FNIS the ZAZ animations (pillory and all the other bondage stuff) work fine but i didn't know about the whole register thingy maybe it'll work now.

Also, i cant really find a pack for my body mod, im using CHSBHC maybe you know where i can find that?
