Please, maybe anyone can upload simple already normal pre-configurated FirstPersonPlugin.txt?If I switch view on during sexlab animations, i can't change view again. If i want use vanilla 1st person view in combat, i was remove the "disable" in FirstPersonPlugin.txt and.. my 1st person view just don't work..I don't know what i am do wrong. I was defeated. I surrender. Nice mod, but no way configurate this. updt Omg nevermind.. I do this. Amazing
SkrGrim_ Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Hey, this is probably a stupid question but (while the clipping is perfect for SL animations) when I walk around (I love the helmet view setting) the flickering is extreme, even at close ranges, and obviously when I set the clipping further I lose that wonderful helmet view. So is there a way to set the clipping very close during SL animations/ when wearing a helmet and further when otherwise?

I made lots of changes to ifpv, you can make a copy of the default profile before replacing it with this one if you end up not liking it. FirstPersonPlugin.txt

nothindoin Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 I'm having an issue that just started where the HUD disappears in first person. No aiming reticle either. Fine in 3rd. But it's weird. I can still pick things up and loot things even though i have no reference to what i'm grabbing. Like it doesn't say "Blue Mountain Flower" with the "E" symbol. Since this started I've grabbed many goblets and burnt books by accident trying to take other things :lol:
Pkatt Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 just wanted to stop by and tell you thanks for this. The txt file isn't that bad, when you read and figure out how it works. I have always preferred first person, but hate looking down and thinking I'm a ghost. I did want some of the vanilla 1st person in certain situations, but instead of using 9, I figured out which one was one of my gaming mouse buttons, and I use that to go back and forth. I love it. Thank you for all your hard work!

Couldn't figure out how to disable it and bind it to a key either even though this is probably a pretty simple thing.. Some extra explanation on that part would be great

If I deactivate Immersive First Person View, the 3rd person clipping stops. Is there a setting perhaps in the config file that could fix this? Thanks!
lumenis Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Hello guys, I just started using this mod, spent like 2 hours tinkering it and got somewhat satisfactory results, but I have 2 problems: 1) I enabled vanila Bow and Combat and it works but to get back to IFPV after combat (i see no PC body after i put away the weapons) I Have to click F twice (once to get to 3rd PV and once again for IFPV. 2) Attach camera option is super weird...whice profile does it use? its different from my main for sure (has enabled head, I can't move it etc) + in 80% cases when i use this option NPCs body disappears when I'm looking thought their eyes. Only hands and feet remain. Any way to get it reliably working? 3) Sometimes when I'm looking down my feet in lying position I see through my PC meshes and see other body parts that should be hidden behind upper torso. Solutions? Thanks in advance!

I used to just map a button in the MCM menu so I could turn the mod on and off. I looked at the SKSE configuration file but I can't find the line where I map it. Found a few and removed the ";" but those buttons did not enable and disable the immersive first person view in its entirety.
velvetsanity Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 For some reason, for me, IFPV versions newer than 1.9 overwrite the third person view instead of the first person, what am I doing wrong? EDIT: Nevermind, I got that figured out. Think it was trying to use a .txt file generated by v1.9? (just a string of numbers) instead of the new one, courtesy of MO's vfs and mod priorities (I created a separate mod just to store generated skse .ini etc files)

This is due to the fact that IFPV doesn't make changes to the character when you're in true third person (such as when making a character or you are using showracemenu to alter your character). Likewise when you're zoomed out to behind your character it also doesn't make any changes to the head.

mirandaandnicole Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Hi i've looked everywhere and am using sexlab and with it the first person plugin is enabled by DEFAULT IE there is no profile for me to look into MCM menu to make any changes please tell me how to turn off the head bob or make it so when I look with the mouse during sexlab animations instead of my head bobbing up and down repeatedly I Tried a few profiles posted here and nothing got the results where all it is just default but head bob off and can look with mouse while in sex animation thanks so much for help
D_ManXX2 Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Was wondering if it is just my game or have other noticed a major frame drop when swithing to first person whenever a sexlab action is started ?? not sure why but this will plumit my fps so much that i had to siwtch off hdt first and still my fps drops considerbly. Not sure how to fix this though other then switch to first person at all but then it will kill the use of this mod since why do i need fps if i cant switch to it ???
