You didn't properly update from whatever previous version you were using. You need to start a new game. This issue was fixed a long time ago.

I think he wants to be able to toggle the fame gain to read for a follower instead of the PC, which in my opinion is dumb. Every single NPC reaction would have to be completely redone in order to indicate it was the follower that was being commented on - this would also necessitate a massive re-write of Fame Comments to allow for the comments to be directed at either the PC or follower, depending on which way the toggle was switched.

I suppose that makes sense based on their wording. If that is indeed the case then obviously that's a hard "No". That would effectively turn this into a whole new mod with how much work is involved.

I see. I will try to reinstall the mod then. This appeared right after starting a new game in the alternate start dungeon.

It's been a long time since anyone has said anything about this particular bug, but now that v4 is in BETA I won't be patching any v3 or older bugs because v4 will effectively be the fix for all v3 and older bugs.

Actually, I'm not trying to get rid of the comments; I noticed in the MCM menu that my `OralCumCondition` is stuck on "true," and I want to know how to change it to "false."

what do you have the cum timer set at in Sexlab? 
Are you using another mod that controls how long cum is visible on your character?

Do you have Sexy Adventures installed? Did someone cum on your face while you slept? (resetting the SL cum timer)

Do you use Bathing in Skyrim or Keep it Clean with conditions set that cum and dirt remain until such time as you have a bath or shower?

 

I can't say as I've ever had a variable condition become stuck on one setting or another, but then my dragonbabe is enough of a slut (and/or gets gangraped almost daily) that it's fairly rare that she isn't frosted like a sweetroll

 

 

Just ran a check in my game - visibly frosted around the mouth, OralCumCondition: True

Went into SLACS and checked how many layers were on my character - two layers of Oral cum

clicked 'Decrease Oral Cum' twice, removing one layer each time

Back into game - no visible cum on face and chest

Check SLSFR - OralCumCondition: False

 

If you are running SLACS, check to see how many layers you have - the cum timer will only remove one layer at a time, so it can take quite awhile for all the layers to disappear

进入SLACS查看我的角色身上有多少层——两层口交精液

重返游戏——脸上和胸口没有明显的精液痕迹

检查 SLSFR - OralCumCondition：否

 

如果您正在运行 SLACS，请检查您有多少层——累积计时器一次只能移除一层，因此所有层消失可能需要相当长的时间。

Does this mod require some condition at game start to boot (eg Unbound quest to be complete)? Because I’m trying it with Shattered Skyrim but the mcm won’t load and I don’t get the ‘now running’ notifications after saving and loading. It worked fine when tried it on a non-Shattered game. I remember older versions of Acheron also struggled to work properly with Shattered, so I suspect there’s something missing from it’s starting quest script. Of course this is a Shattered problem not Fame’s, but I’m just trying to figure out the issue.

 

btw yes, I am using a fame mod with a mod that removes all npcs in skyrim.

No, there's no special condition, but this is a Papyrus issue that I simply cannot fix. Sometimes scripts get hung up at the very beginning of the game because Papyrus gets punched in the gut on new games, and that sometimes causes Papyrus to just not trigger certain scripts - most commonly MCM scripts don't start because they tend to be the biggest single scripts and therefore the most likely to fail.

 

This problem only gets worse with bigger mod lists because it stresses Papyrus even further.

 

Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it, especially now that I've moved on to the v4 update. There will be no more 3.x.x patches/updates. The v4 BETA is available to my SubscribeStar supporters currently.

there's no way to gain fame, and even if you do, there's no one to comment on it. All you are doing is wasting an esp slot

More specifically, I use Shattered which removes all npcs and destroys all buildings but I don’t keep it that way, it’s just a blank canvas. I use other mods that add back a bunch of generic ‘survivor’ npcs like bandits and refugees everywhere. Plus permanent winter from Seasons, eternal eclipse, some other thematic visuals. That’s just the grimdark aesthetic I’m going for: a lone girl surviving in a dying world.

Does V4 fix/alleviate the issue?

I have noticed that I get fame trigger when alone with a summoned creature, animal follower or animal companion.

So nobody but character and the creature is there, which logically should mean that there is nobody to spread the fame.

 

.... unless there is an order of druids/mages running around interviewing animals and summoned creatures. 🤔

Yes, I know I forgot to filter creatures. No, there will not be a fix until 4.0.0 releases.

Just throwin this out there, but your mod got caught up in the Modding Armagedon caused by the latest update to Skyrim, game wont start with it enabled, sadly.

Love your work though, have had it in my load order forever. hope you can give us an update soon.

you could always downgrade your game to 1.6.1170, then set your app manifests to 'Read Only' so that Steam can't update your game.

I'm so happy I disabled my update before that.

I guess enough things will be updated in 6 month or so to change to next update.

I get update messages that my fame has increased but the fame sore in the mod menu is still all zero. I am having sex in a moded location that is still read as part of whiterun (which is correct) but the menue does not update. I think my fame increases, but i am not sure. Any idea what I can do?
