The original issue I have is that my fame does not increase at all. So I downloaded the linked patch and while it did fix the fame increase I had a new issue where the comments weren't firing even with my fame at max during testing. But since I couldn't get the SLSF classic to work on it's own I don't know if the comments not working are caused by whatever caused the original failure or the patch. Also during most start ups I had the papyrus failure issue where I had to reset my papyrus in the SLSF menu to make the error go away each time I loaded. Many people either forget to save and reload their game after installing SLSF or forget to Reset All Papyrus Storages in the MCM (and then save and reload). You can't just click the reset button and keep playing. When you click that button, you then have to save the game, quit to desktop, then load the game. Otherwise that reset function won't get applied and you'll keep running into the error. You most likely don't need that patch you linked. I'm actually trying a couple others that have integrated with SLSFR now that I'm less worried about the odd setup.

I just meant that I hadn't really considered using them until I worked out how to get SLSFR working neatly, and in the process I decided I might as well try more mods that make use of this one. If I do come across any you haven't linked, I'll check this thread again to make sure it's mentioned. It looks like the "fame comments" author, Gristle, has a handful of fairly complete mods and in one recent post they mentioned that fame comments is next on their list to revise/update. Fingers crossed that means SLSFR could work without SLSF soon. 1

Besides, this is not the only mod that is broken by this dll; others also talk about it for the mod Thieves Can Be Choosers. I don't have the knowledge to know how a dll can break a scripted mod but you don't seem to know much more. Maybe the problem is solved now with the new versions, the last time i tried was with version "DynDOLOD-DLL-NG+Scripts.3.00-Alpha-6 ng". Since then i have switched to the papyrus version of dyndolod and everything is fine. However, i hope to be able to use your mod which looks very good when SLSFFameComments will be compatible without having to use Sex Lab - Sexual Fame Framework SE. I will be able to use dyndolod ng dll again with all these advantages compared to the papyrus version. 1

I do have 'Reset Papyrus Specific Storages' as part of the recording, and I'm wondering if I can just let that recording run normally, then load SLSFR, and make changes there.

You can skip the Alt Start cell step if you want, it's more of a recommendation to ensure all other mods are started up properly before loading SLSFR, which COULD help avoid certain problems, but otherwise is not 100% necessary. SLSFR has to be loaded/installed BEFORE resetting the Papyrus Storages of Legacy SLSF or you'll have to do it again when it is. I'm not 100% sure why that's the case, all I know is that it seems to be necessary or Legacy SLSF will give you an error again, and the Overwrite function won't work. You could leave it as part of the recording, but you'll just have to save, quit, and reload when installing SLSFR anyways, so you might as well install Legacy and Reloaded at the same time. Critical thinking is a skill on steep decline in today's world, and you've admitted to defending a point you cannot verify. That's not a wise choice. DLL stands for Dynamic Linked Library. These files point to address spaces in exe files, such as Skyrim.exe, and perform operations on or with that information. These linked address spaces must be maintained or the DLL will break (or perform bad/unintended functions), which is why the AE release sent the Skyrim modding scene sideways. SKSE, the crux of all Skyrim mods, is heavily dependent on DLLs, and the AE release of Skyrim saw the address spaces of the exe get shifted. This is why you require AE-specific mods instead of being able to run all SE mods on AE or vice-versa. However, any mod that was built for SE and only used Papyrus, and NO DLLs, were not affected. Non-DLL files do not reference exe address spaces. The only reason I could see a non-DLL mod being affected by a DLL mod is if the DLL is changing something about the game which the non-DLL mod is looking for. However, these mods tend to clearly state these incompatibilities up-front. DynDOLOD only looks at graphics and, as the title of the mod suggests, LOD (Level Of Detail) assets. Legacy SLSF does not look for graphics-based things. It looks for locations, actors (NPCs), and animations. Therefore the odds of it being directly affected by DynDOLOD is extremely low. Any issue is likely caused by some other mod that interacts with both DynDOLOD and Legacy SLSF at the same time for some reason. Nobody has been able to articulate the cause or the exact problem so far, only giving vague claims like "there's problems" or "something gets messed up". This is not enough to confidently claim that DynDOLOD is the culprit. Don't ever take anything at face-value, because it's highly unlikely that such things are actually true. 1

I can tell from the Script Names, which are not mine. SLSF Reloaded's tracing will say "SLSF Reloaded - {whatever the information is}". You also need tracing enabled in the SLSFR MCM for most of them to appear, because there's a decent number of Trace lines for debugging. -------------- EDIT: Ah, yeah. Needed a cleaned save. Your fames should merely reflect the actions that are performed. Males are typically considered dominant unless "Submissive Only" is enabled in the MCM. Make 100% sure everything was installed properly. If they are, please provide a papyrus log with tracing enabled in the skyrim.ini as well as in the SLSFR MCM Edited January 31, 2025 by NymphoElf 1

Goblin-Slayer Posted February 5, 2025 Posted February 5, 2025 (edited) I have a question, I see that under supported mods it has the fertility mod but it does requires the v3 fixes "Fertility Mode (requires Fertility Mode v3 Fixes and Tweaks as well)" and to apply that v3 mod I need to start a new game which I don't want to (since I already have put around 80 hours into that save). The question is, will this mod just ignore fertility mod if I dont have the V3 Fixes and Tweaks mod (just the normal fertility mod) or can it cause nasty bugs? Fixes and Tweaks has become the defacto Fertility Mode version at this point and I heavily recommend using it. Thank you for you answer and yeah you are right, sometime is better to quash a bug before it breaks a save with 800 hours (it once happen to me with a 250+ hour save) and thank you for making this mod, it will be a must have for me from now on. 1

I don't see a point in making more specific distinctions. Bestiality is the same as it was in the old SLSF, so I don't get what you mean by saying my mod is "the only one that doesn't split them up". My setup recently went through a major change, and I have a lot of personal things going on at the moment (not problems, just lots of stuff on my plate) so I am not currently in a position to perform any mod updates or patches. I'm getting a lot of SLSF-R stack dumps. My last save went into ILS status so I looked at it in RE-Saver.
