[On new game save]
Good evening,

I tried looking for a solution but haven't found any.
Basically when I use Sexual Fame, the Sex Lab Framework launches but doesn't work. If I try to initialize the SL Framework - the game crashes.

When I reload the save prior to initializing the SL framework, the MCM of SL Framework disappears.
I noticed that when I disabled SL Sexual Fame .esm - - the SL Framework MCM shows up and doesn't crash my game when initializing.

Reason I wanted to use the Legacy SLSF alongside the SLSF Reloaded was to use SLSF Comments (now I have disabled SLSF & Comments in order to use Sex Lab Framework).

I know this problem is related to the Skyrim SE Sexual Fame and not Reloaded, but hoping if anyone had a similar experience.

I'm using SLSF Reloaded v1.5, and for some reason  the "Overwrite Legacy" option isn't anywhere in the MCM. Is it supposed to be there? I took a look in all the menus in both SLSFR and the legacy SLSF and can't find the option. I had figured it'd be in the debug section, but all that's there is "enable tracing".

Obviously, I could use the latest version, but I'm not really in the mood to start a new game, currently.

A PSA: I recently did some de-bugging on my load order, as I have been having frequent CTDs recently, it came to my attention that SLSF Reloaded was a very large part of that problem, SLSFR makes many MANY calls to "none", and does so frequently, this results in a lot of script lag.
I also noticed, after removing it and cleaning my save with re-saver that my save file size decreased much more than was expected, and quicksaves were noticeably faster.
It would seem that SLSFR has some scripting issues, and if you are having trouble, I would try deactivating it, cleaning your save, then going into SLSF [Original] and pressing "Re-Load Locations"

It's just a Wabbajack mod pack: Do Not Go Gently (focuses on the Requiem mod)

100% agree that this probably is a cell conflict, and SLSF Reloaded does not make any changes to the world spaces - it simply reads which one you're in. Therefore it's extremely unlikely that SLSF Reloaded is the culprit.

Aside from that, thank you for sharing your troubleshooting experiences. For example, I didn't even consider a weather mod affecting physics for some reason - but that would make sense. Also, thank you for diagramming the Cell Load order and that it can be changed in the ini. I'm actually going to play around with that a bit.

It took me awhile to figure out what was causing my crash - I used CrashLogger and ReSaver to track down the fact that it was a skeleton crash caused by MNC. I made a patch for the "Do Not Go Gentle" (DNGG) modlist and all the skeletons and MNC keywords, just to be safe.  No crashes so far since that was done.

Happy to share my crash sleuthing process if anyone is interested, but I learned a lot by reading Reddit posts and the list of CrashLogger log requests on that mod's Nexus page.

Spoiler

When you get a crash, you go to your crash log (should be in My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\crash-2024-11-22-05-33-34.log....the date and time will change depending on when you crash) and look at the top for the thing that looks like (this was my case): Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF678C1C3EC.  You're going to grab the highlighted code, "678C," and open up a save before your crash with Fallrim Tools ReSaver. You type in that code in the filter and it should bring up a list of potential culprits. Go look those up in SSEdit (there are a lot of steps to figuring this out). If you keep crashing under the same code, you should eventually be able to narrow it down.

Mine was a world encounter zone that was calling a fox race to spawn, and there was a mismatch between MNC and Requiem. This was the case for a lot of creatures, including "Requiemfortheindifferent.esp" patch and DNGG's "Synthesis.esp" patch. I was getting that fox crash at a couple of different locations in the outside world space.

You of course need ReSaver and SSEdit installed as executables in MO2 to do this stuff.  I'm not a vortex user.

For some reason, the "anonimous"   feature (using headwear) does not prevent fame from increasing. I am using this with Radiant prostitution RMCW. I tried it with multiple helmets, and even added the keyword provided, but the fame keeps increasing.

Is "Player Can Be Anonymous" disabled?

I know this response is late, but can you provide the logs? Something doesn't seem right. Which version was this happening on? Do you have Papyrus Tweaks installed?

Hey there folks!

Did I get it right that even IF I currently have 2.4 beta 3, I will need to start a new game in case of switching to 2.4 final?

Beta-3 might not require a fresh save to update, but I put that announcement there anyways for anyone who didn't use Beta-3.

1.5 doesn't have the feature you're asking about. You need to update.

Try re-installing Sexlab, and make sure you have ALL requirements. This happened to me recently as well, but I got it fixed. This isn't an SLSFR issue.

So i dont know why but every time i use this Mod after some time i get stack dumps if i open my current save i have 54 instances of slsf_reloaded playerscript running and 42 already suspended instance of this script

It sounds like you don't have Papyrus Tweaks installed.

If you do have it installed, try increasing how much Papyrus Tweaks allows the script engine to perform in the ini ("Max Operations Per Task" - Default: 500).

You can also try enabling "Speed up native calls" in the ini if you haven't enabled that.

Hey Nymphoelf, I found out why SLSFR worked wrong for me. I play russian version of skyrim and installed russian USSEP. Seems like it broke something and that is why numbers did not assign properly. After i switched to english USSEP, everything works fine.

Glad you got it working. Sorry that there's no inherent translation for Russian. I might sit down and set up translation files at some point, but no promises.

Hello everyone, I have a question.
First an explanation to the problem what I have, my question is then at the end.^^

I have the problem that I get notifications that I have received Fame, but in the overview everything remains at 0.

If I use the original SLSF from Versh at the same time, the values are increased correctly.

Some time ago I had this problem with the Versh version. At that time it was because I downloaded the powerofthree's Papyrus Extender because of another mod

and as soon as it was running, the version of Versh only showed 0 everywhere, although I got notifications that my fame was increasing.

To finally fix this I had to remove powerofthree's completely and also reinstall SLSF from Versh. After that the version of Versh worked again without any problems.

Now to my question.
Could it be that powerofthree's has broken something and that is why Reloaded is not working properly?

Because unlike the Versh version, a reinstallation does not fix the problem.
The only idea I have now is to reinstall all my mods one by one in the hope that it will work.

or perhaps someone here has an idea or a tip as to where the problem might lie?
I hope my text is understandable, my english is not the best.^^

The original SLSF has notifications turned on by default. These are not the same as gaining fame in SLSF Reloaded. SLSF Reloaded has notifications too, but they are turned off by default. You're probably getting these notifications confused.

Also, powerofthree's is fine to use with both mods. It shouldn't have broken anything by itself. The only possibility is if you have a bad overwrite order or something.

When using SLSF and SLSF Reloaded together, "Overwrite Legacy SLSF" should be turned on by default. If it's not, then you can turn it on in order to allow SLSF Reloaded to inject its fame data into SLSF (mods like Fame Comments only use the old SLSF data right now).

It's likely that you've misunderstood how this mod works. The way SLSF Reloaded gives fame is slightly different from the old mod. Please read the attached guide to the best of your ability in order to understand how everything works.

I have a question. If I use Public Whore, should I enable Overwrite Legacy SLSF AND in Public Whore's MCM tick the Use SLSF Reloaded Fame setting? I have both enabled plus the add SLSFR Fame to PW Fame setting. But when I look in the SLSFR MCM, it tells me I have 40 slut fame in Whiterun, and when I look in the PW MCM, it says that I only have 8 slut fame.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I was perhaps a little imprecise. During various tests I also deleted the original SLSF and only use SLSF Reloaded and then activated the notifications in Reloaded.

Reloaded then also told me that I had received Fame, but everything remained at 0 in the overview.

I also changed the loading order several times. I'm basically testing different ideas all the time. I have also read the guide carefully.

I'm slowly running out of ideas, but I think I'll try a few more things next weekend.

For me, it's time for the Christmas vacation.
I hope you all have a great holiday.

Yes, you need to include SLSF's fame to PW for it to apply. However, this ADDS fame to PW's internal counter. So if you have 40 SLSF fame and 8 PW fame, you'll have a total of 48 fame. according to PW.

If you're using my provided PW patch, there's an options to use SLSF fame exclusively, as well as a toggle to use SLSF Reloaded instead of SLSF (and therefore not needing to enable Legacy Overwrite unless another mod is still using the old SLSF fame data).

Lastly, PW's fame counter doesn't update immediately. Give it some time or walk in/out of the location. It will catch up eventually.

Are you sure that you're looking at the correct location in the MCM? Do any of the locations in the Fame Overview page say "True"? If so, make sure you select the correct location in the "Detailed Fame View" page. The Detailed Fame page will not automatically show the fame in your current location (unless you simply happen to be in the same location as what's selected in the detailed fame page).

Okay, so if I understand this correctly. I can either have SLSFR Fame get added to PW Fame (Which doesn't actually show up as one number; it just adds it together, correct?) Or I can have SLSFR take over the Fame aspect of PW completely, so if I have 40 slut fame in a city, PW will only take that into consideration and not it's own fame, correct?

Correct. To have this choice though, you need to use my provided patch. Otherwise you'll only have the option to add the old SLSF Fame to PW's fame.

There are two ways you can accomplish this.

Option A:

  • Use SLSF and SLSFR together
  • Enable "Legacy Overwrite" in SLSFR
    • You may need to reset SLSF's data and then save and reload for it to work and/or not have SLSF throw a fit and give you error messages every time you load the game
  • Enable "Use SLSF(R) Only"
    • "Add SLSF(R) Fame" must be disabled for this to be selectable

Option B:

  • Disable the SLSF Integration toggle in PW
  • Enable the SLSF Reloaded integration toggle in PW
  • Enable "Use SLSF(R) Only"
    • "Add SLSF(R) Fame" must be disabled for this to be selectable

I'm also trying to get PW to work via this method. I have the patch. But in the PW Mod Integrations menu, the SLSF and SLSF Reloaded toggles are greyed out and can't be changed. The SLSF toggle is on despite it not being installed, and the Reloaded toggle is off.
I guess I might have to install the legacy version and use option A instead.

@Uffda @Sithrix - I'm working on a Data Exporter and Importer which should help you with updating (it'll let you restore your fame after making a cleaned save). I still don't understand why saves are getting corrupted, because mine didn't.

You can just install the old SLSF, disable the SLSF toggle, enable the SLSF Reloaded toggle, then remove the old SLSF. I forgot to add a check to enable the Reloaded Integration toggle if the old SLSF isn't installed.

Hello!
I decided to play Skyrim in my native language and found problems when playing with this mod.
SLSF Reloaded could not detect key locations, because they were called differently. For example: not Whiterun, but "Вайтран".
I opened the source code of your scripts and found that to determine the location, you compare its name. I do not know how the original SLSF works, but I did not find such a problem.

It would be great if you tried to solve this problem, for example, by looking at the method of determining the location in the old SLSF, or by finding another solution that would suit you.
This problem is not just a localization issue, but the impossibility of using the mod in other languages ((

If I understood correctly, this problem is in the SLSF_Reloaded_DataManager script.

I really hope that you will pay attention to this problem.

Of course, I tried adding this "Вайтран" to the list of custom locations, but it seems to me that this will create problems with other mods that use fame.

I will need time to figure out how to solve this issue. Part of the reason for this mod's existence is to improve/simplify what SLSF originally offered, so I don't necessarily want to "copy" the old SLSF, but I understand that this is currently something my mod is lacking in. Please continue to be patient. I cannot give any estimate on how long it would take for me to implement this, and I am currently working on some other new features at the moment which aim to improve the user experience.

EDIT: It's not just the DataManager. Using the location's name (String) is the backbone of this mod, and uses the English version, therefore effectively requiring the English names of locations. Converting to a more language-agnostic system is not impossible, but will be a lot of work.

EDIT 2: Oh, it's because the Location Manager is returning the Name strings of the Location forms rather than my hard-listed names, which means it would grab the non-English string and compare it to the English string, which fails/shows errors. I can fix that rather easily.

This can only be due to the MCM quest not starting for some reason or some kind of obscure issue with SkyUI. Try using MCM Helper and/or starting another new game to see if it appears. MCMs not loading have always been an issue on the user's end.

The install functions have not changed since initial release and the only time I encountered this problem was when Papyrus Tweaks NG was not installed. Please double-check and make 100% sure everything is installed correctly.
