Would you like to join us and have the opportunity to share your ideas on test versions of future updates for Animal Research and Balazar Bitch?

Then you're probably the one we're looking for!

Our requirements are simple:
- Always test content from the beginning of the task to eliminate errors by continuing the task from the previous version (Test version)
- We don't expect you to test every single test version. We all have our private lives ;3
- We don't accept people with 0 posts!

- Don't be discouraged if your idea is not accepted by co-authors or is changed in part. (These are the charms of co-creating a mod. Some are great, while others don't fit the mod.)

- We do not consider people who have not written any posts in the Balazar Bitch or Animal Research threads!
- People who have reported various issues in a Balazar Bitch or Animal Research mod have a better chance; otherwise, don't waste your time or ours.

I finally figured out a way to stop SLSF Fame Comments from giving comments during scenes in this mod. They usually won't break anything, but can obscure quest dialogue. SLSF Fame Comments won't trigger comments if the PC or the comment speaker is in a scene. The problem is sometimes in this mod Tirwin is in a scene but the PC is not. SLSF Fame Comments doesn't know who Tirwin is, so the solution is to add the PC to every Tirwin scene, even though the PC has no dialogue or actions in the scene. That seems to work fine to keep Fame Comments quiet during Tirwin's scenes with NPCs.

I have done this to the v0.4 round of quests, but I still need to go back and do it to the earlier quests.

It's typically any comment (event) which may start a SL call which may just slow progress during a quest, i.e. she's asked for sex a few times in mid play on route to an objective. I do not really mind Tirwin making occasional comments except some of the derogatory comments about bestiality seem a bit out of place. 🤣 The PC would like respond "Can't believe I let creatures fuck me, Really! As if you should talk?"

Good point. I need to learn how to detect actors in one mod from another mod.

You know it really does not affect much in SLSF Comments... in fact I like that Tirwin knows if the PC does engage with creatures, it's kind of obvious when she sees it. In fact some of the comments might be applicable - if more like dirty talk or flirty - given the right context. It's when a statement is delivered as shocking or disgust seems out of place.

I think it would be a ton of work in SLSF Comments to narrow out Tirwin unless you thought about some kind of faction or keyword but even then that's a hell of a lot of dialog checks.

I gave the vampire stuff a few more tests on 0.43 and got some pretty mixed results. Mostly good. Things seem to go differently every playthrough.

I checked the code and everything is right. If her sex ends on stage 210, the stage advances to 215 and triggers a force greet package where she says "I'm so embarrassed! I said such dirty things, and I was so loud when I came." That dialogue (if completed) advances the stage to 220. This one I can't explain (it's working for me and others), but it's another reason to finish her post-sex backup dialogue, so there's a way to advance the quest if any force greet fails or is interrupted.

That scene is now progressing properly for me in 0.43. I got different dialogue lines in 0.42. On that version, after finishing her first act with the gargoyle she would say this and then nothing else and the quest would be broken:

Now on the latest version she is saying the lines you mentioned. So, that problem is solved. Not sure why I was getting those other lines before?

Only other issue I had with the gargoyle is on one test he started aggressive and Valerica was ready to fight him. Things calmed down pretty quick and no one got hit, but the gargoyle still had some kind of power going that made his arms glow red and kept him from being able to do animations. He stays idle like he is just standing around and only the female characters engage in animation actions. But then it ends real quick. Thankfully it only happened once.

Tirwin should remain naked at this stage. The same code that triggers the force greet strips her after sex.

    elseif VAR_GargoyleQuest.GetStage() == 210

        VAR_GargoyleQuest.SetStage(215)
        VAR_PostSex.SetValue(1)
        TirwinLH.EvaluatePackage()

So, for some reason that code is not firing for you.

Yeah... I'm not having good luck with Tirwin keeping her clothes off for any scenes with anyone. There has only been one time she did not immediately redress after a sex act with somebody and that was when the gargoyle had its active power problem I just mentioned. I guess animations working properly keeps Tirwin's stripping scripts from working properly? I didn't have such bad luck on earlier versions and the earlier quests.

It's not just after SL scenes that her clothes are out of tune. For me, after getting the thrall clothes and leaving Serana's tower, Tirwin pretty much always goes back to her default robes. She does not want to keep those thrall clothes on even though she still has them.

image.jpeg.eed0dfe93db0d83dea78c23701bb5504.jpeg

The only way I can really make her wear them is if I talk to her. I can just take her regular clothes from her inventory which will force her to switch to the thrall clothes. Or, I can tell her to switch outfits. I have noticed when I tell her to switch outfits her default robes and boots completely disappear from her inventory for good. If I tell her to switch back to her robes, she does, but they are still missing from her inventory. Not sure how you get her to still wear them when they aren't even in her inventory?

I guess it doesn't really matter, as long as she can still put them back on somehow. Just not sure if they are really supposed to disappear like that? It happens as soon as I tell her "I'd like to give you a new outfit." She immediately strips naked and then the clothes are gone for good (at least in the inventory).

EDIT: I now realize that her putting her robes back on is only temporary. As soon as I fast travel or go in or out of a door, she goes back to wearing whatever is in her inventory. The only way to get the robes back is to give her a new outfit again and then ask her to go back to robes again. But again those robes will still only be temporary and not appearing in the inventory. I guess it is smart to never offer a new outfit unless you don't ever want to see her in the original robes again.

The bite "Idle" animation is there. It's actually using the same "scene" (with the bite animation) for the bite as the previous Serana bite. Skyrim's idle animations can be a bit glitchy though.

For me, she gets up when I agree to get bit, but then she immediately lies back down again once the dialogue ends and I can move again. I think her lying down is keeping her from doing the biting. The SL scene of course gets her back up for good. Maybe you could make her start following the player before the SL scene has taken place? Not sure if this is already supposed to happen and my game is lagging?

Onto a newer thing I encountered in my 0.43 runs, has anyone else had an issue with Harkon often showing up in his lord form? He can't cast his paralyze spell in this form so I keep winding up getting stuck and loading earlier saves. I've played this part in 0.43 over half a dozen times now and it seems like there is a 50/50 chance this will happen. I repeated this part at least a few times in 0.42 but never saw it.

I don't know what might be interfering (other creature mods?), but Ingun's sex with the dog is stage 90. When she finishes, the stage is set to 100 and she has a force greet with the PC, which starts a scene with Tirwin. That scene ends with Tirwin asking for sex with one of the horses on stage 120.

So, I would use "setstage VAR_Spriggan 100" in the console to skip the Ingun dog sex and trigger the conversation. If for some reason that doesn't work, set it to 120.

I decided to install version 0.43 (this is in SE), in case it was not there already. I set "Aroused Creatures" to inactive, just in case, and reloaded the last save I had in the werewolf quest (before asking Tirwin to look for the next book.

Once again, it stalled at the part with Ingun. I set the stage to 100, where it continued and reached the part where Ingun decides to have the horse mount her... and again nothing happens.

During one of the tries Ingun says there are two horses in the stables, but only Storm is present, as I have not done that quest in Riften with the NPC that wants to recover his horse. Not sure if that has anything to do with this mod, but I guess I'll skip more a few more stages to make this continue.

Maybe you're missing something in the install before? Although dialog is imbedded in an esp. I'm not sure but with Vortex I install new versions over top the other then disable the previous to kind of keep the esp in the same spot in the plugins.txt, I do sometimes do a purge then a deploy though. You have any mod which force interrupt dialogs?

I did have that issue once where she lost the clothes I gave her, and was when she put on the thrall clothes, I had to tell her to wear her college robes to see them and give them back to her, and that straightened her wardrobe out. Least she's quicker to make up her mind about what to wear than my wife... takes her at least an hour.

I think her clothing switches are done via a Forms list? That's how most follower frame-works do it so the follower does not try to default to highest valued items. Anyway even AFT, SDA and Spouse Enhanced used to sometimes screwed up but are a lot tighter now. Anyway that is how they do not show up in regular inventories (mat be a container I think, really don't remember?). I'd imagine is tedious trying to track and keep straight.

I think maybe it's best to have multiple forms list i.e. TirwinOutfitWorn, TirwinOutfit01, TirwinOutfit02 etc... ? You could also create a forms list of forms list which I think allowing a multiple outfit system. i.e. TravelOutfit, CityOutfit, HomeOutfit, SwimmingOutfit, SleepOutfit, NaughtyFuckMeOutfit...

No I never had an issue with Serana or Valerica not biting with this mod at least. Then again I've Amorous Adventures so they both bit the PC all the damn time until we cured Serana, Blood of a God or Nectar as Serana'd say. Dragon blood? - I kept wanting to tell them to go chew on Paarthurnax or Alduin aand see if that works for them 🙎‍♀️. I also always chose the bite over the soulgem to enter the soul carn while playing Dawnguard.

Valerica still bites whenever they visit ("There you are, come let me give my daughter-in-law a hug" )... Yeah right! So it's a good thing @Gristle and @killer905 had the insight to use copies of the Vampire in their design.

I finally found time to check out the new content, and apart from the issues already reported, I found some minor problems.

1) I can ask Tirwin to have sex with Ragnar in Volkihar's garden.
2) Kust gets stuck on the mountainside, but pushing him in the right direction solves the problem.
3) Tirwin can call Ragnar when she is inside Black-Briar Lodge, and as we know, Ragnar stays outside.

You have some interesting problems, so I'll ask.
- Did you continue the story after the Chase quest or did you start from the beginning, but skip it?
- Is Harkon alive or dead in your save? Or what stage is the Dawnguard story at?

Technically, all NPCs in Volkihar are clones, so there shouldn't be any strange problems with Harkon being in the form of a Vampire Lord.

When you do this, load the save then change the settings in "Aroused Creatures" to off - when you load a save it pulls in the McM settings for that save in my experience. I beleive those settings end up in your skse co-save file.

That aside I don't think that's your issue here because I'm sure you know when AC kicks in a horny critter ot sends a debug-message to the left-hand upper corner, then the creature chases down the the PC/NPC to start a scene.

Unfortunately I did not play thru the quest pre the Frostnapping quest. It's one of the first quests I do in Riften because I like to get all the little miscellaneous and side quest out of the way before joining the thieves guild to build some repour with the npcs - set relationships - before the pc has to start being naughty... although I do get slut and whore fame at the Bee and Barb, but that's a good naughty right?

Was always surprised Maven never figured out I stole that horse... you'd think she'd blackmail the PC into making her money or whatnot, prostitution something. 😜

I agree, and why I always said @Gristle mods are so tight and well done. It's best to use clones so not to mess with any npc's especially followers or those involved quests, well except if all you're doing is aesthetic.

PS: the AR quests are the first time Valerica did not force-greet and neck with the PC in a long, long time. Which kind of hints to me Amorous Adventures must be grabbing her specific REF ID in an alias off her editor id to do so.

I look forward to it, but i would find it fun Triwin have to save the player from the Thalmors cell or storage. If you use the spider just a idea, Triwin refuse and PC agree to do it and PC get find in the act than need saving if you don't tell on Trivin.  Thanks for the mod it's great so far.

I guess I never made one after completing 0.36. So, I repeated those parts and then made a save right after having fun with Tirwin wearing the collar. Then I made a save before asking her "Shall we look for the next book now?"

I completed Dawnguard also, sided with Dawnguard so Harkon did die as a vampire in my game too and did not come across that issue in the five play-thru I ran. PC did use Serana's bite to enter the Soul Carn so can't say had not been a vampire. Always cured the PC before going back to Fort Dawnguard so they would not bitch at me.

So, yes Harkon would had been Editor id DLC1HarkonCombat in his DLC1VampireBeastRace "Vampire Lord" form when I killed him, his vampire human form is Editor ID  DLC1Harkon.  Technically two different npcs.

Animal Research though uses Editor ID VAR_Harkon Base id xxF89EDC though which was created as a copy of DLC1Harkon, so I don't know how your quest spawned him in his DLC1HarkonCombat form at all? I think they're using the DLC1HarkonCombat for the transformation before the sex scene should ask @Gristle ?

For giving Tirwin dirty talk during sex, here's a mod I never knew existed until now.  SexLab Dirty Talk.

I haven't tried it myself, and looking at the comments just now, it looks like it might actually have serious issues so I'm not sure how useful it might be anymore.

Update: The error seems to be that the quest that starts and picks up the NPCs to be speaking doesn't have an ending so the same NPC is used again for subsequent sexual engagements.  Seems like it should be an easy fix to add a step to end the quest, but it's beyond my knowledge to do so.
