OLD - SCR Locked Thread (Do Not Use)

Weird. Up until the last update BOSS ignored all the sexout stuff, just dumped it in unaltered order at the end of the list with all the other unrecognised stuff. BOSS masterlists and user lists confuse me, so I just use the masterlist that it comes with and updates itself. As of the last SCR update, it keeps dropping SCR to the very bottom of the ESM list.

it likes to load "unknown" mod files etc. after everything else... so when you update you have to go back in and re-order some of the mod files.

in the FOMM/BOSS you can find out what the masters are for each mod and organize the esm's at least to correct order.

 

NMM cant organize a pile a dookie... just stick to FOMM its more usefull when organizing mods and has more functionality with cleaning load order etc.

See, this is where I'm getting at. Mine used to do the EXACT same thing. Any unrecognised plugins are dropped to the end of the list as is. So if you have your sexout stuff grouped right, then add a new mod that BOSS recognises after sexout, the new mod will get moved to where it belongs, and sexout and any other unrecognised plugins will be left alone. Maybe its just something I screwed up somewhere.

You should both know that I was in contact with Prideslayer about enhancing vibrator/plugs/dildo/gag/shemale/hefemale support in SexoutNG' date=' but then he disapeared on us...

 

If that gets done, the object effects and scripts would have to be declared in Sexout.esm, though I intended to actually implement them in SCR anyway.

 

So Halstorm if you could import the attached ESM into SCR?

You have to [u']KEEP[/u] the FormID so that they look injected into Sexout.esm (Use copy as override in FNVedit). When pride comes back and if he merged my scripts, those objects will be taken into account during selection of what type of sex Sexout will accept.

 

Note: I have been running SexoutNG for 2 weeks now with my changes active without any issue or change to standard sex.

 

Last point, but I intended to get to it at some point, SCR sex toys should consistently use Body AddOn 1 for vaginal, Body AddOn 2 for Anal and BOTH if they use/block both holes. Gag of course should use MouthObject and Mask

I'm not sure if I screwed this up somehow, but snce adding this to my version of SCR I'm getting "Spells without defined effect" errors on the Gag, stapon, chastity belt & shemale Effects when loading in GECK.

BOSS puts unrecognized sexout files last, which is good. The game itself always loads all .esm files before any .esp files.

 

But, when you install a new version of a file, that moves that file so that it gets loaded last.

 

One way to deal with this issue is to use fallout mod manager, and export your load order (after you have gotten the load order right -- so everything works). Then, if you ever upgrade anything, you can import your load order again. This will also disable anything new, but that's probably a good thing, since you can sometimes damage your game with new mods -- unless you have a good reason you should probably mostly only install new mods between characters.

I am running SCR 20120521.1 modified with no issue in GECK, but when I merged the two ESM the scripts "did not follow". I thought I messed up the selection...

I had to import them a second time. I'll try again with 20120521.2 to seee if the issue shows up again.

 

EDIT: OK I can confirm it was not a glitch!

SO:

  1. copy as override all scripts
  2. copy as override all base effect. If you activated the "comparison filter" they should all turn violet!
  3. drag and drop the script in each of the base spell. They should revert to green.
  4. copy as override everything else.

If you update Sexout, then you get:

 

SCR.esm

Slavery.esm

Legion.esm

Sexout.esm

 

And if you then run BOSS with that userlist it would put Sexout back above the other three master files.

 

Unless I'm misunderstanding how BOSS works...?

Well apparently now Sexout's four main .esm files (Sexout, Common Resources, Slavery, Legion) are on BOSS's masterlist; the thread for it in BethSoft's official forums just announced it.

Yeah, but that's more because of Red Eye working through a backlog of mods that need to be put on the masterlist. I'm still waiting for some of my suggestions to be put up. So if someone suggested Sexout's .esms, they probably suggested its .esps as well.
