I know that's what "go for it" means, but there were two options for it in the menu.  Replacing one of the lick/bite/etc. slot and the other lick/bite/etc. slot.  Is this how it's supposed to happen?

I am kind of confused.  When I get a "No" after a foreplay action, that's when I get the "Start Sex" option.  Seems a little backwards unless that's somehow tied in for non-con possibilities.

EDIT:  Oh yeah.  I knew that there was something else that I forgot last night.  Eat packages are still wonky.  Have conversation > get up and find another place to sit.  There's going to be a line worn down in the carpet in my player home.  ;  D

Go For It mimics slots. Bar Bar Cherry.  No on foreplay is not a rejection.  It's simply a way of the NPC telling you that whatever you just did isn't working for them.  Yeah I'm working on the eat package.  I may need a more complex solution.  Those rePopper generics are killing me.  They just don't want to stay put for anything.  So bear with me on the eat/drink package.

Just to say thanks for the mod. I think I'll return to play NV in july, I guess then this will be even more awesome.

Also, to contribute with anything, you could add Red Lucy to the bisexual NPCs.

You're quite welcome.

Is Red Lucy bi?

Found the eat package problem.  Now I just need to figure out a way around it.  I'll have an updated copy here as soon as I do, and that should settle this issue once and for all.

Acording to fallout wikia, she has the fade-to-black vanilla sex with the PC no matter the PC gender.

This also happens with Sara Weintraub.

Hmmm.. Ok.  I'll add them both.

"My hunter."

Hooray re: eat package.  I remember that we went through eat package problems in the prototype too.

I don't think Sara is bi, I would say she's straight.

See that's what I thought too.  For both of them actually (as they have no dialog that I know of that indicates otherwise).  Now I'm wondering if the any PC gender f2b sex is just a mistake or bug?

Citing the wiki:

For Sara: "Through certain dialogue options and after giving her the 30 jumpsuits, she can be propositioned for sex, at which point she will tell the player she will meet the player in their room. Sarah will have sex with the player regardless of their gender".

For Lucy: "After completing Bleed Me Dry, Red Lucy will offer to sleep with the Courier, as he/she has proven themselves as a mighty hunter."

Another way to know it, Is If they have special lines with the 'Cherchez La Femme" perk.

Good to know thanks.  The perk ones are the ones already set.

Now wait a minute.  Not to be difficult, but just to be thorough...  Can an argument be made that those two NPCs 'turn' bi upon the completion of a quest, or should we assume they were always bi?  Opinions?

Try the eat activity with this new one.  Works for me now.

Good question.

nyaalich is right, and Lucy refers to you as 'hunter' and not 'huntress'. But theres a bunch of NPCs refering to the courier as male per default, even if the curier is female. This could be just another of those cases.

My rendition: Red Lucy have sex with the PC because he/she completed a killing/hunting quest. So, she considers you worthy. It's like she's just interested in alpha individuals (as Lucy herself is), no matter if male or female. Of course, this could be also interpreted as if Lucy was hetero or lesbian but she is so in awe with the curier, that the curier turned her bi.

To simplify things, I'd consider her bisexual.

This brings me another question. Could this mod be blocked to certain NPCs until certain quests are completed? Let's say, you cannot hit on Lucy until you complete that quest. Or you cannot hit on Sunny until you kill the Powder Gangers. Lets say, not appearing the flirt lines, or just getting negative responses/reactions at your advances until certain quests are completed.

Two scenes:

Sunny Smiles: A date? tonight? are you aware that theres a bunch of ex-cons about to raid the town? they are gonna rape and kill even the saloon's pool table! Now I'm not in the mood for dates. Lets survive this first.

Red Lucy: so, acording to your advances, you want to mate with me. Show me you are worthy before. Until then, go f*ck yourself.

PS: about Sara, I'm afraid I cannot help. Some user playing a fem courier maybe can check her lines.

Ah.  I was just quoting her because it's sexy.  I didn't think that the sleep with Sarah option was available to fem courier, but I can't fucking remember the last time I tried it.  So I've kept my mouth shut.  :D

1)  Eat and drink packages are working.

2)  Didn't have the armor switch.

3)  Got an Insult during a drink

4)  I swear to god that things were going better when I had the Known Whore perk.  O.o  That went away during gameplay.  The date was a decent amount of time after that (either that night or the next day).  No info in the console about it at all.  Not even complaint acquired.  I chose Talk > Ignore since "be nice" is supposed to be for love triangles.  Lover Dialog turned back to Casual Dialog.  I thought that ignore would prompt some sort of return "we need to talk"/"I'm sorry"/"WTF is wrong with you?"    Nope.  Got the evil eye and insulted next (didn't check the console after that...sorry  : \  ).  Can't remember if it was Casual or Lover then, but I selected "need to talk" > "quit being upset" (not that he was...right).  Then it may have gone back to lover?

What is ignore supposed to do versus reject?  This being in the context of an activity suggestion or a flirt/affection from an NPC when they approach you.

I tweaked them again in 45.  The walk packages should be fairly correct now too.  Still takes them a second to build their list, but I added in a little extra delay for that so it doesn't eat into your activity.

No idea whatsoever what causes the armor switch.  At one point they were equipping weapons too.  But the weapons thing just went away one version and I never found out why.

What did ignore return?  That is key.  Ignore is just that, you ignore what they just said.  They'll only tolerate it so many times a day before it pisses them off though.  You'll know when they return a negative.  Puzzled means you got away with it, anything else means you didn't (counts as small rejection).

I've removed the console messages btw.  You would have had to have sat and checked the console constantly to catch them anyway so I just pulled them out.

Another thing I forgot to ask is, have you set this NPC with any cheats?  For example if you set him to needy, he will be easier to commit on one hand, but on the other, he'll complain at the drop of a hat.

Compatibility is already blocked more or less.  Unless I set them explicitly, or they random into gay, or the player turns them over time.  But yes, it would be easy to change them on the completion of a quest.

It returned puzzled.  So I guess arguing is all kind of one-sided right now.  I haven't bothered with cheats in some time.

Sorry, but I still disagree about Sara :)  if you are playing a female, giving her 30 suits does NOT get you a reward.

EDIT: I did not make any sense.

Ignore isn't really related to arguing.  Ignore is just 'the goodbye' for that sequence.  It's used in place of a regular goodbye when you shouldn't be able to escape the dialog you're confronted with.

I'm not sure what you mean by one sided?  The purpose of arguments 'We Need To Talk' is to dispel negatives before they take root.  If they aren't 'harboring' (very important) any negatives, you'll likely get some by arguing.  The point is not to constantly argue to try and dispel negatives, but rather to dispel the ones that they 'harbor'.

Now what do I mean by harbor?  Well for example the male NPC is not likely to 'harbor' any sexual desires.  They spend these up almost as soon as they get them.  On the other hand male NPCs DO harbor affection.  See the difference?

Female NPCs:

Carry out their affections first, THEN when their affections are empty, ONLY THEN will they move on to carry out sexual desires.  This means they 'harbor' their sexual desires.

Another example.  Let's say you offend a male NPC.  He acquires a negative.  But, because he also has sexual desires, he buries that negative in favor of approaching for sex.  Thereby, harboring his complaint (doesn't exhibit it, because he wants sex).

So once the male NPC has had his sex, and his sexual desires are satisfied, then he'll move on to his complaint (if you haven't argued it away first).  So the point really is to dispel the negatives that reside under the surface, before they bubble to the top.  If the negatives become action (insult/complaint), it's already too late to argue at that point.

All that being said, I can almost guarantee that arguments need more fine tuning and work.  I haven't tested them myself because I'm working through the more promiscuous side of things.

EDIT: Frankly it's incomplete.  I think once I've added some sort of cues (messages saying they look upset or some such), then arguments will actually be realized and will make more sense.  Right now it's sort of just guessing unless you really know the NPCs quirks.

Posted

I checked it out and it does have message cues.  Here's the scoop...

If the NPC:

- is jealous

- has a complaint (insult)

- wants to break up

- is about to stalk you

You'll see the message: <ref> is giving you the evil eye!

If I need to split them up I can.  Priorities are something like...

Male NPCS:

a.Stalk

b.Sex

c.Jealous

d.Flirt

e.Nag

f.Rumor

g.Affection

h.BreakUp

i.Commit

Female NPCs:

a.Nag

b.Rumor

c.Jealous

d.Stalk

e.Affection

f.BreakUp

g.Flirt

h.Commit

i.Sex

So in other words, if a. is true then it becomes acted upon, if not then b., etc. ie. If he flirts with you, he's most likely not jealous.  I'm open to suggestions on their default arrangement.  Later I may jumble these around for different personality profiles.

And I thought I read what I wrote...

I disagree that she is bi. The dialog for sex does not show up if you're a girl.

I gave this another try tonight for a few hours.

Had me a special save with no other mods loaded (besides Sexout, etc) and again, played as a male, and tried to court Sunny.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the same result(s) as before. The beginning is stellar - we go on 3-4 dates, 2 of them instigated by her. We dance, we drink, we eat, we flirt, we exchange affection, I get a few rejections and turn off inbeween, but in the grand scheme of things, it's going well. And then, bam, she's not interested.

Now if I ask for a date its insta bug off, if I flirt/go affection, she reciprocates, but besides that, nada. Fool around is either maybe later/tease or downright turn off, but nothing seems to be leading anywhere. It's impossible to progress with the relationship because out of the blue she's just decided to hate me for some reason. I give it a few days, come back, she warms up, then the cycle repeats itself.

I get "Sunny looks different" and "Sunny is looking at you" messages, what do they mean? She also has affection, foreplay and arousal tokens, but she doesn't seem to want to capitalise with any of them.

Given that when you play as a female, it is much easier to get into a relationship (of sorts) I'd say it'd be worth taking a look at a short male playthrough to see if you can reproduce any of this. For me, playing as a male is basically becoming a no go, which is a shame  :(

Way to go CK!  I think you led me to another huge mistake in one of the trackers scripts.  The new one should correct the issue you're having.  Though you'll probably want to reset those NPCs.  The problem is that they were being placed deep into the negative on first run.  So no wonder they kept resetting to difficult.

When your desire is -126 and your lust is -128, that means you build desire up 127 times to finally raise lust to -127.  It must have been driving you insane and I apologize.

This only happened when your Char is lower than theirs, which is why not everyone was getting it.  It would have affected females too, but I guess no one rolled up a really ugly female to bump into the issue.

I also put the individual attributes spam back in the console to keep tabs on this sort of thing for a while.

Thanks, it's nice to know I wasn't going crazy!

Well, my char had charisma 8, so he wasn't too bad. I'll give the new version a spin and let you know how it goes.  :)
