The GrognakLowRes Comics (World Space and Displays, etc) aren't named right or are missing their appropriate images. Mine are vanilla.

 

I fixed it myself, by throwing the GrognakHiRes (Inventory) in the LowRes folder.

 

Once again, might just be a personal issue. 

Thanks for bringing that up. You know when I uploaded the low-res folder, it was a really small file size compared to the hi res. And they're both technically the same resolution, so that shouldn't have been the case. But I checked the files and they were all there so, i ignored it. But there probably WAS an issue now that you're bringing it up. I'll look into it. Thanks again.

I have three profiles. I think there's a little over 1,000 mods per. I'm actually finalizing a new load order right now since there were some massive updates these past couple months. I have my Main Character, which is just, play the game as intended. Build Settlements. Lots of mods. Then I've got a Survival Playthrough with a few extra mods. That playthrough is damn near impossible. And lastly, I have my Whore of the Commonwealth playthrough. And it's got like, I dunno, 20 or so extra mods. And that one is rough, sort of like you're mentioning about yours. Everyones trying to fuck you on every corner. lol.

Here... Let me just attach my Load Order for you. There are a couple mods not in the proper load order but, mostly they are. And I've categorized it all. Including patches.
Now, be warned. There's some sick shit in my mod list. lol. I'm sure there are much worse load orders out there but, mines no ray of sunshine.
If you scroll to the bottom of the list you'll see the section for AAF mods. That's all the dirty stuff.
Also, when starting a new load order, make sure you use "The Fucking Manual", which you can find by googling it.

Thank you sir! You'll come across some really good stuff out there. It'll take a while to find it. It's very spread out. Sadly from Sanctuary to Boston you don't see a lot of Billboards and most of them are copies of the same 2, which I didn't edit. But don't let that fool you. I only didn't edit a few images. And I did it on purpose. There's like 500+ images out there for you to find. And once you get outta that starting area, you'll start seeing all the other billboards and posters.  Happy Hunting!

Alright, so I changed one of the images. It had a VERY vividly saturated image that stuck out like a sore thumb and happened to have a lot of copies of it around the commonwealth. Plus I didn't really like the image. I'm probably going to change a couple more, and once I'm done with them all I'll repackage a little update with them all. But for now, here's a preview of it, AND the file. Just drop it into your Data/Textures/SetDressing Folder. It's great for people playing the "The Red Seat" mod. It's just an advertisement for the stripclub/brothel in Diamond City.

Do you plan to eventually cover all the advertisements, banners, posters and portraits? I like your lewd lore-friendly images so far, but would like to see every vanilla image replaced, with no more blank "Tester" billboards.

I think my Adobe subscription may have JUST run out. If not, I'll look into this for sure. I started a new job today so worst case, I'll get adobe back in a couple weeks. Thanks for the tip!

Hey there, hate to bring this up, but it looks like the LowRes Grognak magazines don't match their HighRes counterparts. I noticed it when I started displaying them on the Magazine Displays and went and checked the files both in the download and the actual game folder. Just thought I'd let you know about this little bug so you could get it fixed, I'll let you know if any of the other magazines series have the same issue but so far it seems limited to the Grognak series.

If you can use Photoshop, there are many free distress brushes to do the aging - also there is an older filter for Photoshop, it's called Aged photo and was good for that job...

Thank you so much I'll go look into that.

Until I get the new version uploaded, for anyone wanting to fix it, you can copy the HighRes Grognak mags and paste them into the LowRes Folder. The only difference was the resolution.

What I like to do for my images, and of course this is for Photoshop but it's the same process for Gimp.

I download "Distressed Textures" from Google. I have a folder of about 50 or so but you only need a couple really. 
I open the DDS file in question, and drag&drop the distress texture I want over the DDS image. Then (In Photoshop) I change the layer style to something like "Overlay" or "Darken Color" or something that looks good. Then I adjust the opacity a bit to make it fit better.
In some cases, I'll take a black and white distressed image, uncheck contiguous, then use the magix wand tool to select either the black or white color from the distressed image. Then I'll create a new layer, put it above the base image, select a dark color and paste it in the "Marching Ants". This will basically use that distressed texture as a stencil and color in those spots.

This mod covers EVERY single advertisement, billboard, banner, poster and portrait. Minus like, maybe a dozen I left default because I felt they needed to stay default for whatever immersive reason.
Any banner that had a person on it, I changed to a nude female. Banners that were just like, store names, I left those alone. For immersion sake.
Those stupid billboards that are grey with no image, I left those alone too because they are spread all over, copy paste style, and some even overlap other billboard textures. So I could change them, but then you'd see a hundred of the same advert everywhere and on a couple occasions, you'd see it Z-fighting with another advertisement.

Taking a little break from modding for probably a month or two. I've just spent the past week installing over 1000 mods into my Skyrim game, and it's running stable AF right now. I've still got another 500 mods to add with only 50 esp slots left so, it's starting to get tight and complicated. In other words I'll be doing this for probably another week, and after that I'll be absorbed back in my hometown of Skyrim.

Hello, I have been attempting to add this collection, it looks fantastic ...but for some reason I am only able to activate one of these files at a time, I am using a Mod Manager, is anyone else experiencing this? And is there a work around please? I'm not very Tech savvy

information needed = what mod manager are you using??  (if using MO2 i can hopefully help as that is what i use, others can help more for Vortex)

well i do not know why it will only let you activate one at a time.

out of curiosity - they do all have different names in you mod manager right?

I use NNM...yes, I know many people take issue with it, but it works well for me, I like it. As for the Mod File names, they all start with " Vault Vixen Visuals - ", different names after that, so I thought I was good (I know same title is an issue), but apparently not. I have since found a couple of alternative Mods to take up the slack and my game is looking good ...I still would like to get to teh bottom of this situation though, because Vault Vixen does do a really great job
