A little off topic but first I'm really enjoying this mod so far and all the possibilities it has. I love the arousal effect it has, but I find it kind of weird that my pc can get rid of her raging libido by just giving a guy a bj. I guess this has to do more with LC but I wish when the belt is on you have no choice but to try and pleasure yourself to alleviate  the tension.

That's how it's currently implemented. Arousal should be locked during sex for any animation if you're belted. That's a bug for you, that it's not.

 

Can you reproduce the issue, and post your Papyrus.0.log?

Started a new pc, equipped a belt and it's screwy. I'm thinking it's probably because I'm still using Romance(easiest to test mods with). When I choose any of the non BJ options, arousal is set to 0 even though DD overwrites those animations with oral ones. When I chose oral animations arousal did not increased, at least I think....my arousal went from 7 to 11 mid-coitus then back to 7. So uh, make of that what you will

This mod does not store arousal before/after sex, but changes the exposure multiplier to be 0 (Effectively locking it) as sex is ending. Thus, belted actors will (Should) have their arousal increase during sex, but receive no relief. The mod initiating sex events shouldn't matter, so long as it calls SexLab in the standard ways. Changing from 7 to 11 is easily explained by mid-sex arousal increase (Normal behavior), but reverting the value back to 7 after the act completes is not something this mod does.

The log seems to show it working properly. I suspect that the inconsistent results for your test (Since you started a new character)are due to you not checking your arousal rate (Thus initializing it) before quicksaving to begin your repeated tests.

I think I changed that message a while back, but I cannot recall exactly how long ago. Are you using the latest version? I fixed several arousal related bugs a few versions ago.

I could use a bit of help with a few features for the next version. I'll do it myself eventually (probably), though having a few additional volunteers would speed up the process quite a bit, as it would let me use the time I can spare to spend developing for this project more efficiently. Writing up quality dialogue / messages / designing quests takes me just as long as writing up the logic/scripts for them. The more work I can crowdsource, the more time I can spend on neat features. Naturally, if I use your content, I'll credit you. Message me if you're interested.

 

 

[ Periodic Events ]

The next version of this mod will feature periodic events for belted actors (Probably player exclusive, to avoid attaching scripts to every belted NPC). These events will be polled every 1.5 in-game hours (Default: It's mcm configurable). I'm taking suggestions for events.

An example of a few already implemented events:

  • An "OnSit" event (Not periodic, but triggered) that displays a message if the actor is belted, and arouses the player slightly with a different message if they are plugged. Currently at 100% probability to occur, on sitting.
  • A periodic message regarding the belt being uncomfortable (Currently at 15% probability).
  • A Vibrate event for certain types of soulgem plugs (Currently at 35% probability).
  • A Mana-drain event for certain types of soulgem plugs (Currently at 25% probability).

If you have a suggestion for an event, provide the triggering condition (If applicable, such as sitting, sleeping, etc.), and the chance for the event to occur (More important for periodic events). Each event submission also must contain two messages: One for a standard belted actor, and one for a plugged actor. You can provide more messages varying on things such as arousal level as well. 

 

 

[ Quests ]

I have a few quests in active development as well. These will be contained in a separate (optional) esp, currently named "Devious Deviants" (Name subject to change). I have more that I'll develop eventually (If I "liked" your post, there's a good chance of me including that content in the future), though I'm doing these first as they interest me more. If anyone wants to write up quality dialogue / a flowchart for the following quests, it'd speed things up quite a bit. If you have an idea for a quest that isn't listed here, feel free to provide the same data, and I might implement it.

  1. Spousal Neglect (Flowchart / dialogue already provided by Veladarius)
  2. The Forbidden Tome (Mogon's idea initially). I think Veladarius or Zadil is working on this one. 
  3. Several small quests (Similar to the "Rough Streets" from Player Slave Encounters, for oblivion). Basically, a number of innocent events (Anything from opening boobytrapped containers, to sleeping out in the open) that lead in to a longer quest. Ideally in to #4. Taking ideas for events that lead in to this.
  4. Radiant Master: This one's in the concept stage. I figure, there's no reason I can't use Skyrim's radiant system to procedurally build d/s quests that would vary dramatically depending on how they were started. If this proves to be impossible / too much work, I'll just make a few more tailored quests for #3 to lead in to.

FIrst off, just a quick question:  Were there other chastity items craftable with higher skills like the forbidden book  hints at, or have those not been created yet?  I've only recently gotten started on Skyrim again with a fresh install after a long break, so I've not gotten a chance to level up blacksmithing to find out.

 

As to the current topic at hand...wasn't sure you wanted these in a PM or what, so I did spoiler tags.

 

[Periodic Events]

 

 

Chastity Bra - Maybe some more integration with this item, with the same chances of showing up as with the belt, regarding discomfort or feelings of tightness in the chest area, or if particularly aroused, mention of hard nipples rubbing against the cold steel.  Enhances your arousal rate or adds to frustration perhaps?

 

Extreme Distraction - After wearing the belt/bra/etc for a long period of time (Arousal 90+, perhaps if remaining thus for more than a few hours or days), character becomes extremely needful and experiences disorientation and forced behavior.  Say, 20% base chance, increasing higher the longer event doesn't happen, of having to stop (if not in combat), and attempt to masturbate (even though it will obviously fail).  Once this happens, the chance to happen resets to base, or perhaps the chance to happen resets to base, but the time between activation checks decreases the longer the character remains at high arousal.

 

Frustration Zen - After arousal has been maxed out for an extremely long period (a week of game time, maybe more), and player has not gotten off, they reach a zen-like state where they are able to move beyond their body's desires and actually use them to enhance their abilities.  Should this state activate (10% chance per hour or per day after the week or more of game time spent at max arousal, dealing with any other issues that may arise from it, like above), player gains a bonus on their skills (like +5 to all skills, or maybe only certain skill groups) and a bonus on stamina regeneration.  If they are plugged, they are able to heighten their magical abilities as well, gaining higher magic regeneration instead of drain, or having their spells increase in damage/duration by some amount (10 to 50 percent).  All of these bonus would last while the belt remained in place, and would immediately be lost if their arousal drops below 100 or the chastity items are removed.

 

 

 

[Quests]

I like the above idea of blackmail involving the chastity gear; seems like a really good idea to try to develop.  There's a mod here called Angrim's Apprentice that does a pretty good job of integrating the belt into a quest line.

 

 

 

The Chaste Hero - This quest chain involves searching for a great hero/holy figure/knight from legend, known as "NAME the Chaste" (I'm bad with names, sue me, lol), or more specifically, their legendary items.  Little does the player know that these items happen to be in the form of chastity gear (enchanted/armor versions of the belt, bra, cuffs and collar), and they only find out upon locating the first of the hero's tombs, in which they speak with the ghost of the hero and are automatically placed in a plugged belt when they agree to become the new Chaste hero.  First all of the hero must find all of the hero's "armor", consisting of the bra, arm and leg cuffs, and the collar, then their weapon, whatever that may be, and eventually face a challenge to prove themselves worthy (perhaps facing the spirit of the Chaste hero's arch enemy).  Only after surpassing the challenge will the player be able to remove the items (basically, the original hero gives them the keys after they prove themselves).

 

An Easy Job - The player is approached with an offer from a local smith or wizard, offering large sums of money to help them test a new device (chastity belt).  The first test is simple, just wear it around town and see how people react to it and how it feels.  Then they are fitted with the next peice (bra), and asked to wear them for an entire day, even try to get in a fight with them.  The next stage of the quest involves adding plugs to the belt, and traveling to the NPC's friend to show them their progress and for a little kinky fun.  Upon returning, though, the player finds their contractor is dead and their workshop robbed, and must track down whoever it is that has the keys.  Possible side track here - Player is accused of murdering the NPC and has to go to jail (probably would require integrating with Prison Overhaul mod) or do something else humiliating so they can tack down the killer.  Before finding the killer, however, strange things start happening with the player's plugs, wild and random vibrations, magic/stamina drain, etc.  Turns out the creator had a remote control device, and now the killer is fiddling with it to try and figure it out.  Finally track the killer down and get the keys to the devices, either through combat or offering to entertain them for a while.

The other types of belts hinted at in the book are not yet added. Future content. Current scripts will support them though, so they'll be easy to add at a later point.

Extreme Distraction - After wearing the belt/bra/etc for a long period of time (Arousal 90+, perhaps if remaining thus for more than a few hours or days), character becomes extremely needful and experiences disorientation and forced behavior.  Say, 20% base chance, increasing higher the longer event doesn't happen, of having to stop (if not in combat), and attempt to masturbate (even though it will obviously fail).  Once this happens, the chance to happen resets to base, or perhaps the chance to happen resets to base, but the time between activation checks decreases the longer the character remains at high arousal.

 

Frustration Zen - After arousal has been maxed out for an extremely long period (a week of game time, maybe more), and player has not gotten off, they reach a zen-like state where they are able to move beyond their body's desires and actually use them to enhance their abilities.  Should this state activate (10% chance per hour or per day after the week or more of game time spent at max arousal, dealing with any other issues that may arise from it, like above), player gains a bonus on their skills (like +5 to all skills, or maybe only certain skill groups) and a bonus on stamina regeneration.  If they are plugged, they are able to heighten their magical abilities as well, gaining higher magic regeneration instead of drain, or having their spells increase in damage/duration by some amount (10 to 50 percent).  All of these bonus would last while the belt remained in place, and would immediately be lost if their arousal drops below 100 or the chastity items are removed.

 

 

 

I like the bra event: I'll add that. I already have something similar to the distraction event coded as well. Different, but thematically similar. I'm hesitant about the third event though. 

 

 

 

[Quests]

I like the above idea of blackmail involving the chastity gear; seems like a really good idea to try to develop.  There's a mod here called Angrim's Apprentice that does a pretty good job of integrating the belt into a quest line.

 

 

 

I've looked at Angrim's Apprentice. It's a neat mod. Stobor coded up a less full-featured version of the belt for use in his mod. It's completely adequate for the purposes that he's using it for, and it will be compatible with this mod. The belts from his are fundamentally different / more limited than the belts/devices provided by this mod, though. This mod was originally designed around belts, his was designed around a quest initially. Just different design philosophies. 

 

 

 

The Chaste Hero - This quest chain involves searching for a great hero/holy figure/knight from legend, known as "NAME the Chaste" (I'm bad with names, sue me, lol), or more specifically, their legendary items.  Little does the player know that these items happen to be in the form of chastity gear (enchanted/armor versions of the belt, bra, cuffs and collar), and they only find out upon locating the first of the hero's tombs, in which they speak with the ghost of the hero and are automatically placed in a plugged belt when they agree to become the new Chaste hero.  First all of the hero must find all of the hero's "armor", consisting of the bra, arm and leg cuffs, and the collar, then their weapon, whatever that may be, and eventually face a challenge to prove themselves worthy (perhaps facing the spirit of the Chaste hero's arch enemy).  Only after surpassing the challenge will the player be able to remove the items (basically, the original hero gives them the keys after they prove themselves).

 

An Easy Job - The player is approached with an offer from a local smith or wizard, offering large sums of money to help them test a new device (chastity belt).  The first test is simple, just wear it around town and see how people react to it and how it feels.  Then they are fitted with the next peice (bra), and asked to wear them for an entire day, even try to get in a fight with them.  The next stage of the quest involves adding plugs to the belt, and traveling to the NPC's friend to show them their progress and for a little kinky fun.  Upon returning, though, the player finds their contractor is dead and their workshop robbed, and must track down whoever it is that has the keys.  Possible side track here - Player is accused of murdering the NPC and has to go to jail (probably would require integrating with Prison Overhaul mod) or do something else humiliating so they can tack down the killer.  Before finding the killer, however, strange things start happening with the player's plugs, wild and random vibrations, magic/stamina drain, etc.  Turns out the creator had a remote control device, and now the killer is fiddling with it to try and figure it out.  Finally track the killer down and get the keys to the devices, either through combat or offering to entertain them for a while.

 

 

I've received quite a few quest submissions already. Got quite a few to work on, haha. I like the second idea a fair bit, and may add that in the future.

An idea is to have the PC aroused when accessing the container where the key is stored by the player. Like how you go on a diet and somehow you just caught a glimpse of some yummy cakes or something lol.

 

Since it seems like soulgem plugs would act like a vibe in the world of Skyrim, would it be too much if a Vibrate event pops up (with a probability) whenever the PC cast a magic? The strength (and probability) of arousal might also depend on what level of magic being cast as well.

 

The other suggestion I'm about to give might be too big or complicated to code and might as well be a separate esp under this mod, but hopefully someone will pick it up after reading this. I might have suggested some parts of it already in this thread.

For follower interaction, the PC could give/surrender the key to the follower via a conversation option and the key ownership will change to that of the follower, so it won't appear in their inventory for trading unless the PC tries to pickpocket it. This would open up many kinky interaction between the follower and the PC, like the PC being teased with the key by the follower and so on.

 

There could also be a system which decides whether the follower would grant the PC a chance for release or not depending on how well behave the PC are to their favors, with a slight probability that they would be locked to a pillory and teased without sexual release before being locked back again in the belt, for the amusement of the follower. Some example of these favors are giving them oral, wear something of their choosing (gags, cuffs, kinky clothing) and etc.

 

To spice things up, different followers might have different bias towards the PC by default, some more likely to give release while some are more sadistic and would prolong your torment in the belt.

 

Soulgem plugs might also become something akin to remote control vibe, with the follower being in control of it. Or they could use it to zap/punish the PC in case of disobedience or for their amusement, like staggering/interrupting the PC when magically zap. That might be a good idea for mods with PC enslavement like Sanguine Debauchery.

 

I have yet to figure out a good way to end the PC servitude to the follower, but a few ideas would be by paying a hefty amount of gold, being ordered to be gangbang in a crowded inn or some other sexual thing that heavily favors against the PC, or lastly the PC would have to give the follower something rare, like diamonds perhaps or the equivalent. Or something that could be found in certain dungeons even. It could also be dependent on who the follower is and their bias towards the PC, so each follower would require different quest. Or it could be randomize altogether, so it becomes more unpredictable lol

 

 

Looks like this mod is getting better and better as time goes by!

The scripts aren't far off supporting this: Writing up the content would take a fair bit of time, though. A good idea, but I've got quite a few planned quests that I'm more interested in for the time being. If anyone wants to write this up though, contact me and I'll help you figure out how writing quests for Devious Devices works. Otherwise, I might get to it eventually-ish.

 

Also, I already have a "Remote Control" keyword, so that sort of interaction is already supported (Though I'm not using it for anything just yet).

I've been curious about this since I saw it, so I have a question. I only use 7b, and since that's based off of UNP, will the chastity belt work with 7b? Or will there be clipping? I can deal with a little clipping but my girl has a healthy arse, so .. would I have to worry about like serious clipping or like minor clipping? Thanks :)

Neat. I've added a feature to my working copy that you'll probably like: The devices now differentiate between voluntary, and automatic/involuntary equips. They'll only display messages if you're interacting with them (Putting them on an npc yourself, putting it on yourself), and not if an npc automatically equips them. Thus, users of your mod shouldn't need to disable all npc messages anymore (In the upcoming release, that is).

 

If anyone is curious as to how I'm managing that from a technical point of view, it's actually rather simple! I'm just checking to see if InventoryMenu or ContainerMenu is open at the time of the equip event (As those are the only two ways of direct player interaction with the devices at this time). The same technique is used for preventing an NPC from equipping the items automatically upon stealing them from you (Submit, SD, etc).

The npc interaction works well. My character (who is belted) tried having sex with Ysolda (who is belted) but they both just ended up frustrating themselves. Foreplay went fine but in the end both of them standing there trying to get themselves off are unable to because of the belt (was kind of funny).

Small question. My character "failed" the quest when she made the key herself and took off her belt  ...  :-/  I hate to fail... my question would be.. is she supposed to find some other way to remove the belt? Also! If she gives the key to her follower, can they have sex normally? With him removing the belt from her and putting it back on after sex?
