Converting them to skyrim however might be a bit iffy depending on their conditions, its should however be pretty easy to contact the original author of the item to clarifly things if you are unsure.

I found the boots on my computer in a pack called "DEM privaat" so maybe you were right, but I have no idea how I got it.
