Really? Great, why is the best stuff always never shared.

Why dont you try to learn how to do it? I mean no offense of course, but the internet is a really powerful tool if you know what to do with it :D you can learn like anything you want.

Maybe it was posted before, but I can't find it. :(

What I need is race, face inc. skin texture. And maybe some tips, how to do character like this.

Thanks for help! All reply is appreciated.

i recommend using ece(enhanced character edit) and using its vertex editor for the face that's how i professionally make my character as for the skin face and race i do not have an answer for that

Can anyone tell me what these Dwarven textures are?

They don't seem to be included with this mod...

Get angry when I read such comments. Imagine you had spend your hole free time to create something unique. You worked hard on a project for days, weeks, sometimes even months! You had to learn how to solve endless problems to fulfill a personal dream.

I have the highest respect for all the modders who share their work!

Have a stressful job and absolutely no desire to spend my little free time with updates, troubleshooting, requests, etc. ...

Releasing a mod is a lot of work!

Endless requests will follow: Why don't you make your stuff for some different body types too? Some additional colors maybe? Other textures? You'll wonder how offended people react when you reject! And as a special reward you will receive a lot of silly and disrespectful comments under your work.

Releasing a mod? No, thanks, I did once, I'll do never again ... Just share with close friends or other modders.

Imagine that, some people have a job and a family, those people don't have much time to play the game, creating stuff even less.

Sharing is caring they say. Not sure if some people understand the concept of a mod sharing community, i mean correct my if i got that wrong but aren't sites like this meant to share mods, not to show shit off and go "it's private: insert trollface here"

I'm no friend of infinite requests on modders, that's annoying, i speak of experience, but these can be ignored if some people would atleast release stuff they keep showing off. 90% of all requests are anyway "For cbbe plz for unp plz" seriously the bodytype is so fucking irrelevant because most armors have their own bodymesh.

I don't like request bitching, but that's nothing compared to private-mod-trolls.

Although we've been at odds in the past, on this occasion I must agree with enya.

No modder is under any obligation whatsoever to share their work with the public. Those that do, do so at entirely their own choosing. People can show off their private works if they want to but there's nothing wrong with them saying that their work is not for public release. Sure, we get a few trolls from time to time who deliberately rub shiny content in our face knowing that we'll never get our hands on it (I'll let you guess who) but consider it incentive to learn tools like Nifskope, Photoshop and the rest and then create your own. I did.

I've been down this road many times before also (one particular time back in 2005 when I was working for Electronic Arts UK springs to mind...) It's no wonder why a lot of modders who previously released content now refuse to do so,  it's because the gaming community in general is lazy and greedy.

I'm not talking about LL exclusively, LL is actually one of the better communities that I've been proud to be a member of, but even here you can see it a little bit. People who will happily take, but never give back.

When I made all the custom female sounds that went into SexAddicts and SexLab, there were a few moments when I thought about just keeping it for myself for my own enjoyment. Mainly because it was my first public foray into Skyrim modding and I wasn't sure how the content would be received, but partly because I knew that there will be people out there who will quite happily rip and redistribute it without a moment's hesitation.

At the end of the day, most mod makers spend countless hours creating content. Whether they decide to let you have it is their choice, not yours.

Fun Fact: I became more active here on LL than at the nexus because i wanted to avoid the private modders at the nexus and it's even worse now on LL. Not because i'm greedy or i'm unable to mod.

You are misunderstanding something. I have no problem with people who don't know modding. It's perfectly ok that they use mods and search links ... And forums like LL are great and very helpfull for all of us.

I'm no great modder too. Just a completly noob who tries to learn modding since five months. I'm just tired of this eternal whining if someone does not want to publish his work. It is his decision, his work! Respect it! There is no obligation to share mods. As well there's no obligation for non-modders to release own works to be allowed to download foreign ones...

Yes excuse me, i'm just quite peeved by this whole sordid private modding crap.

I'm well aware that there's no obligation to share mods, but flaunting it is just the same as in the kindergarten "look a have a toy train and you don't!", that's how i see it, why else would people do this? No really i gave that quite some thoughts and i didn't got to any plausible conclusion. So i'm utterly despising it. Not out of greed or out of being unable to create the same, y'know it's not like i'm not trying, but because i'm holding so hard onto the concept of community sites that it begins to hurt to see things like this.

I remember the good days on the nexus before it went down the mountain and shit just repeats itself here on LL.

enya!
I am quite of your opinion, is not a modder committed his works to share.
but then again these modder their pictures to keep to yourself, these images will heat up the community and it creates a discontent,

many modder publish to show their pictures to which they are better than everyone else (they just want to splurge).

german

enya !

Interestingly aspect! Most people are looking for download links here! They don't know how to mod. And they don't offer anything at all in exchange!

Oh sorry that i'm no genius modding god like some other people here, including some private-modders. That what you're trying to throw at me, yeah?

I'm a nobody in the modding community, but that doesn't mean i have nothing to say.

Can we get back to posting boobs please? Stop filling this thread with such negativity, if you insist on bashing each other; that's what PMs are for.

'Ear 'ear!

Back on topic: The shoulderpads and the gauntlets. Does anyone know where they are from?

Btw, I'm pretty sure the tattoos are private, but if they aren't, could you please tell me where they are from too? Thanks!

You are wrong, that's a great misunderstanding between modders and users! It isn't absolutely about childish behavior if people post e.g. shots of their work. (Sure, there are exceptions!)

During the development of a mod I get important -sometimes really helpful- feedback by this way. Often other small modders ask for tips, you exchange ideas, help each other to find solutions to solve problems.

Learned a lot about modding, met some very nice people and great modders, received much help and could help some others in return.

And sure, when you have reached it you're proud of and you'll like to show the result of your hard work! To inspire and to show others that it is possible to fulfill their own dreams too.

There will always be people who react with envy. But that is neither my intention nor my problem.
