Definitely looking forward to the update Ban, and very glad to see you still around. 

Like the sound of most of the changes, but I think I'd like to keep the option of having Compedita  Succession if you wanted to stay feudal.

As for the changes to MAA, I know you've said in the past they are a bear to deal with from a modders perspective. Seeing it become cosmetic would be a bit sad, but it might be worth that if it makes it that much easier to manage the mod on your end. Particularly if we happened to get a few more expanded regional Famuli MAA's as a result. (maybe not just for Asia)

Alright, I'm releasing the update now so people aren't waiting to long to play.

Ultimately, this is a Beta release, play with the assumption that things may or will break, but I can't test everything on my own.
Changelog in the OP as usual.

as japan the first holy site seems undefined

council tab the left column seems a bit wide rendering the right column a little off screen and hiding the X to close it as well

decisions button is listed as 'decisions button container'

nothing seems game breaking(except maybe the holy site) but these jumped out in a quick hour play just lookin for  things

Hello! I tried out the mod with the latest version (Regula_Magistri_5.0.0) and when I try to start the ritual, free the entity, I get the Game over Screen because I became a Theocracy. The game over happens right after I choose where in the world the Holy Sites are gonna be, In the event chain once you start the ritual. I've seen this issue being reported earlier in this thread, but has anyone experienced it recently?

Hello, in the latest version of the mod (Regula_Magistri_5.0.0), it seems that polygamy is no longer valid in China. Even if I free the entity, I can still only marry one wife.I suspect it's related to Chinese culture; I was playing as a Chinese character.

Regardless of whether it’s a new version of the RM, you have to start a new game rather than continue from an old save file.

I have a small idea regarding your planned new government type — would it be possible to add several landless titles, similar to the Celestial Empire in AUH? That way, Magistri’s most beloved Domina/Paleax could stay in the capital, while the less important ones could govern the provinces instead, haha.

To make it do the thing I had to change some is_male checks to a custom is_male_or_futa, add and change a gender succession law, and make Cultists a valid camp purpose for the futa domicile buildings and court position. That's about it IIRC.

First of all, thanks for the update!
 

When I chose Japan as my goal, there is one holy site missing, it's showing a blank slot.

Also, are we getting a Mandala government type magistri? I think it fits the theme, but I'm not sure if it is better than what we have now.

Regula faith parameter num_of_spouses is covered by the Chinese Faith parameter of spouses

As far as I recall, that's been purposefully disabled for a while due to needing to be reworked, because it was causing mod conflicts. I think.

ah cool,  now that you mention it I sorta recall something like that but with the new version last night I was scrambling for anything to report

Anyone else getting glowing whites of characters eyes?

EDIT: Turns out to be a different mod causing this after the new update. In case anyone else runs across the issue, Color Picker for Clothes is the culprit. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

Carnalitas is required. Not sure about all of its submods, I don't use them.

CBO unofficial (I use the all in one file), No Death Cascade, and Cheri Lewd COAs are recommended.

From there it's basically personal preference.

 

Better Barbershop and its CBO patch are nice to have.

 

Thematically the mod works well with Highlander Immortals 2. I like to headcannon that the immortals exist as a way to combat the Magister.

 

A New Sensible Family lets you create you own character and give them a family / dynasty. The implications as tied to this mod should be obvious.

So where in the mod folder can i find the file to change the bloodline goal numbers and the ward age requirements so i can set them higher for my run i want to do and other parts of the mod to change how i would like for the religion to change if possible too.
