[mod] Regula Magistri 2

Hi,

 

I'm having a bit of trouble with this mod, or maybe it's a game mechanic I'm not familiar with.

 

I can't select the accolade type Enslaver or Priestess.

 

For the Enslaver accolade, the character has the Lustful, Wrathful, and Zealous traits. For the Priestess accolade, the accolade has the Zealous, Forgiving, and Lustful traits. My regula traditions are as follows: I have Famuli Enslavers, Famuli Warriors, Magistri Submission, and Magister Bloodline. I also have the Famuli Only pillar enabled. Two days ago, before I switched to female-only champions, I had the Enslaver accolade type (it was a man champion) available (this was before I selected Famuli Enslavers and Famuli Only).

The characters are woman, have the Regula religion and are of my culture. Their opinion of my character is 100. Are there any other conditions I need to fulfill in order to unlock these accolade types (Enslaver, Priestess)? Thanks for the help and advice!

so i started the event chain as unlanded, i got option to show book to the girls, is there a number of girls i should show before event continues? or am i stuck

I guess that's just what happens when you have one large and one insane mod. Reconciling changes isn't easy. I thought about making a stripped down version of Regula, but just untangling all the bits I wanted wasn't realistic. It's probably easier to green field it, and just make a fork of CK3AGOT that is lewd.

Hello, I found that the Barcelona dock in the Content Creator Pack: Medieval Monuments DLC was replaced by the Faith Cathedral in Hispania.

Just a minor thing, but the demand conversion doesn't properly check for landless adventurer requirements. You need a portable shrine to demand conversion

 

Edit: Also, my kids don't seem to be getting an education trait when they grow up for whatever reason.

I think I solved the problem with Elf Destiny.

 

The main problem I faced was the fact that Regula Magistri cannot utilize Elf Destiny's content, the primary problem being unable to appoint a realm preist, because the Elf religion overwrite the requirement for realm priest. To aovid it, you should remove the lines in Elf Destiny's court poisition folder concerning the appointment of realm priest in regards to the tenet "Aerulean Sisters".

 

I tested for about five hours and haven't encountered any problems. Even if you were not appointed any elf advisors, you can still appoint your own priest, and Elf Destiny does not really have any religious content that you will miss out, I think.

For those who are playing POD, if you want to try this mod or if you installed this mod before and started to experience random crashes from last year (unfortunately I am one of them), I will tell you a possible solution to the problem
Load this mod, start the game, exit the game and save automatically
Unload this mod, enter the game, exit, and the game will save automatically
Then load this mod again, enter the game, at least I no longer have the problem of random crashes
The biggest change in doing this is to set the mod settings of this save to default, which may be why it can solve the crash. As for which option in the mod settings caused the random crash, I don’t know

I believe these two sea events are way to common:

3121 is very expensive. Got the event 3-4 times on a quite short travel which cost 80 gold each (as emperor) and you can feed her a 20 person feast menu for 40 gold :)
Maybe tone it down to 1/4, and if possible only allow one stowaway on each trip.

I did something similar a while ago, might come in useful.

 

Haven't really done anything with it lately except update the gui, but it seems to still work fine. Only thing I never got working (that I know of) was the exotic beauty traits with mutare corpus (the lvl 4 traits should be fine, you can't get them from mutare but it recognises them and treats them the same as having lvl 3)

 

You can get combined Elf+Regula mechanics by doing the Regula ritual and choosing other -> spark for region (all the powers come form the one holy site), you just have to get into a bit of a tug-o-war with the matriarch because she will assign Aeluran red sisters to you and your vassals until you've corrupted a significant number of elves.

Is there a way to disable the partner cheating feature? I'm getting heart attacks now for every now and then a fucking notice pops up from a character I've worked on for so long customizing and it means I'll have to go back in months of time to kill the guy. I hate this ntr shit and it comes out of nowhere as well even when I gave the partner the trait of chaste it still happens. I'm legit so tilted right now thats just hours wasted

paradox issue, they ignore/forget to use their own triggers, so as they keep adding events every big patch it would be completely unmanageable by a modder, to solve it.

Regula already has some of the best blocks available via mutare corpus, the loyal trait, wich IIRC completely blocks the can cheat on spouse trigger.

Hi! I know nothing about modding or coding or... any of it, basically. I love the mod, and it's really interesting. I've done a few playthroughs of it and enjoyed them. I especially love the MAA art and stats from this mod, and though I'm ready to do a different sort of playthrough than the magister one, I'd still enjoy using them. I tried adding the famuli maa tradition to a culture, but they aren't usable without also being the religion/activating the mod event chain, as far as I can tell.

 

Is there a way that I'm missing to JUST have the MAA from this mod without the religion/gameplay changes? Or is that something that would be easy to make a submod of? I know it wouldn't really be lore-friendly to either real history or the description of the units, but... pretty, badass maa are awesome! Thanks in advance to anyone who knows more than me!

I did a thing. Seems to be working. As for what testing I did: no. I'm using the patch in my current game, no troubles so far. Just put it under Regula and Phaze's.

To make it do the thing I had to change some is_male checks to a custom is_male_or_futa, add and change a gender succession law, and make Cultists a valid camp purpose for the futa domicile buildings and court position. That's about it IIRC.
