Slootie Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I have an interesting bug to report. The clothes check seems to be stuck on something. I can load up the previous save where it wasnt - no issue. Currently however, for some reason even when i take everything off, and i mean EVERYTHING through the 'recycleactor' command, im still clothed according to the mod. meanwhile SAKR confirms im completely nude. Ideas on what could be the issue? dont want to roll so far back.
sheepskin898 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Hello! I love this mod, so thank you! I keep getting CTDs, seemingly involved with interacting with npc (any of them). I've poked around on here and disabled potentially heavy mods like "dangerous nights", but the crashes persist. Here are two buffout crashlogs, in the hopes that a comparison may be useful. I'd appreciate any help! Thanks again^^ crash-2026-04-26-02-20-57.log crash-2026-04-26-02-46-53.log
gloo84 Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Yeah, the breeder patrol idea is awesome gives it the Mr. X/Nemesis feel while strolling around the Commonwealth...they should all be armed with Miniguns and missle launchers
terrorofmorrowind Posted May 28 Posted May 28 (edited) Uhh, not sure if something can be done about this but kids born from fpe are seen as hostile to the super mutants. I'm talking about mutants btw. Edited May 28 by terrorofmorrowind

I'm talking about mutants btw. I think it puts them in the standard settler faction so that they won't be hostile to other settlers. Probably needs a different FPE addon or patch for the existing one that puts them in a custom faction which is friendly to both settlers and normal super mutants.

I think I got all of the addons I could find for ego's FPE.
vranina Posted May 29 Posted May 29 And the point of them being friendly? Settlers and super mutants are simply impossible to meet. The only possible meeting is when super mutants attack a settlement. However, I think that if you don't want super mutants to attack settlements, you will need another solution, not this one.

Sorry, by "needs a different FPE addon or patch for the existing one" I meant one which does not exist yet, as in someone will probably need to create it.

Ah I see. I do not know how fpe chooses what goes in which faction but if it works similar to skyrim, I might be able to set something up myself. Edited May 31 by terrorofmorrowind

The two addons (dog and super mutant) available for download from the FPE mod page are intended as examples of how to create your own baby addon for FPE, and are very simple and straightforward plugins if you're familiar with the FO4CK at all (or could probably even just use FO4Edit or zEdit to make one by editing one of those). If the goal is merely to adjust the actors that get created to replace adolescent super mutants as they age, the edits needed are probably very minor. 1

I'm eagerly awaiting your updated mod using that new Super mutant elven labs AI voice released on here awhile ago. 🤩

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does the same thing! My typical playtest is to pick up Curie, Piper and Cait as companions, drop Curie off to switch to her synth body and then go pick up Strong while waiting for the operation to complete. (Mods like Shortcut to Curie, Combat Zone Restored, and Trinity Tower Alternative make them easier at low levels and enable bypassing main plot progression.) 1
