I just updated Sexbound Reborn and TTPP and now my log gets spammed with this line:

[15:06:21.735] [Error] [string "/scripts/sexbound/plugins/pregnant/pregnant.l..."]:88: attempt to call a nil value (method 'hasInteractionType')

 

also, whenever I join a sexnode, be it from Aphrodite's Bow or on a table, all positions are locked, the buttons do nothing, leaving the node leaves a copy of me behind and destroying the node deletes the NPC

That with an error like that the entire node is broken and nothing works is to be expected.

 

However, on to the actual error. Call to nil value "method 'hasInteractionType'" means that an SBR function is missing from actor.lua - one of the few files most commonly altered by other mods. In fact, this method is newly added by SBR 1.1. So, seeing as you said you just updated SBR and TTPP, I see two options here - A: TTPP is altering Sexbounds actor.lua (don'T know why they would be though, afaik they have there entirely own system) or you have a mod that was developed for SBR 1.0, not properly designed and hasn't been updated yet.

I've tried using the items from the sex toy printer but the npc's won't use them. I tried using the Lovely Whips lustful whip and the Statue of Dibella but nothing. Maybe with the updates the whips and statue mod don't work any more? How do I get the npc's to use them? I do not have addons for Lustbound. Maybe I'm missing something?

By the looks of things, you have Draconis PoV installed. That mod comes with (and overwrites interface to use ) PoV 4.0.1, which is not meant for Reborn.
You are also running the older/wrong version of Temtem's Terato-scenes.

Both of the above will break the interface and cause such "getContainsPlayer" errors.

Like the user above, would be helpful if you provided a log file. It contains many pieces of information useful for discovering and pinpointing such issues.

While this is not the latest log (It goes ".log", then ".log.1" up to ".log.5"), this is A log.

I don't know if this is the cause of the problem...? You can use the nodes yeah? So this must be an older log, hopefully? Other than this, the only other error is from TTPP's "tenteggnant" effect erroring.

This is the last log which says you didn't have Lustbound installed for Lustbound_SBR_patch (Which means you likely started using 1.1 and didn't remove that mod) but this isn't the right log, as that would mean you can't even start the game lol

Hi sorry one last question but first hey cancel order there is a text file in logs that will have what you need i would first delete it run the game so it makes a fresh one then post it.

 

 

Now my question is i crossed a male vulpes with a female neki and the child a female vulpes was invisible i'm guessing on ore both races dont work so how hard would it be to "add"

 

a race or races to sexbound reborn to stop this from happening???

I'd say that is irrelevant. Don'T even know where it's coming from.

 

@Cancel order The file you are looking for has no number in it. Considering it's so hard to find for you, you probably have file extensions disabled in Windows - in which case you are looking for a file simply named starbound which is of type text file.

This is not an incompatibility (and I can assure Neki are working cause I use them myself), this is a bug, and I can't tell you anything more without a log, and even then it might not be enough and needs more investigation.

 

So, first I need you to give me the log of the session where the baby was made and the one where it was born. Next, I need you to type `/admin` into the chat, then `/debug`. This way you'll see the hitbox of the invisible NPC. Next, you'll need to hover your mouse over the hitbox of the invisible NPC and type `/entityeval npc.humanoidIdentity()` and after that send me the log with the result. (You know it worked when the chat shows a million lines of text instead of 'nil' after doing the last step.)

Yeah, I too have had problems with actually getting the game to recognize me hitting the hitbox of kid NPCs. Anyway, that the issue happens with the Vulpes race is pretty obvious by now. Can you hand me the species file for that race so I can look into why one of the colors translates to "1"?

you have to go to your steam installation folder and work your way through the folder structure, this is what it looks like for me:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content

at this point all games are identified by an id, Starbound is 211820.

and finally every mod has their own id as well, you can find the one you are looking for by looking up the mods workshop page in your browser and looking at the url

In order to skip the wait for the birth cycle, Birthing pill was used.

Well, I don't see any error regarding this. You however also do not have info or debug level logging enabled, so I don't get any information except for actual errors.

However, I also see no notification about the baby being born, so let's analyze the problem.

 

You say when giving birth to a child (assuming your are talking about the popup windows for confirmation and naming actually showing up) you didn't get put into the animation. That's possible when you are at a location where the sexnode object cannot be spawned - in which case the game silently ignores this and continues without.

You also said you used the birthing pill - Since player pregnancies trigger 60-180 seconds after the climax that succeeded, using the birthing pill during this delay cooldown does nothing; as technically speaking you are not yet pregnant and as such there is nothing to give birth to. However, the confirmation message that you are indeed pregnant ("You feel hot and bothered deep inside") was triggered somewhere mid-sex, so I'd assume that's not an issue.

 

Other than that I'd need more information to help.

 

Now onto the second thing: Yes, kid NPCs are recruitable immediately. And yes, when you do that they lose all kid and family status. It's just the way Starbound deals with recruitment.

Plans to attempt to fix this exist for the near future - however, this is a very risky move as it requires altering core Starbound behavior which potentially makes alot of non-Sexbound related mods (like FU) incompatible.
