It's a valid question but I am afraid there isn't much to be done. I looked briefly into DTR some time ago but I found the 2 slavery systems are very different from each other, so making them compatible didn't seem as a viable goal. I am afraid you would need to choose one mod over the other, or if you prefer DTR disable the Carnalitas slavery interactions altogether.

I just released new version 0.18.0 (for CK3 1.11.x), see file. The major change is that slavery being a crime no longer prevents rulers from initiating or accepting slave interactions, but is (heavily) penalized instead. It also addresses a number of issues I found during testing.

 

There is also a CSR AGOT Compatibility mod available now as a separate download. Use it with the Carnalitas AGOT Compatibility mod I just released. Enjoy!

I just released new version 0.19.0 (for CK3 1.12.x), see file. This version is now officially compatible with CK3 1.12.x and Carnalitas 2.3. If you are still on 1.11.x use the older version specified in the description.

 

Important Note: The latest version of Carnalitas introduces incompatible changes that break most existing mods based on it. While this mod is now adapted to these changes, other mods you may be using, including Carnalitas Love Reimagined (for the time being) are not. Don't use other Carnalitas mods with this version unless their authors have updated them. And if you are unhappy about it (I personally am), you may consider complaining in the Carnalitas support thread or the Carnalitas Discord server (I already did).

The mod is updated to CK3 1.12 and Carnalitas 2.3 now. However, please read the "Important Note" above.

thank you, you are a life saver :O  it doesn't help that I have to reinstall the whole base game again and again cause of refusing to inject into the base game.

Sometimes it doens't even want to update the changes. more example to learn from is better for all.

When I checked the error log I always found errors like the following:

the slave is already pregnant

I don't know if the error is serious or not and if it’s an issue with other mods. I used the updated Carnalitas and Carnalitas Slavery Reimagined.

This is a known issue in Carnalitas 2.3. I noticed it yesterday and opened a PR with the fix for it and for another issue that breaks the "Rape" interaction completely. The PR was merged by Cheri but a version containing the fix is not yet released. If you know what you are doing, you may try to download the development version from the Carnalitas GitHub repository (Code -> Download source code -> zip) and play against it.

You people are FREE to take my unofficial patch and upgrade from there ... if it saves you time.

I did the character windows UI the 00_history disease and button ui and couple of things, but I didn't touch any of the carnalitas stuff that doesn't overwrite the base game. 

 

I really do not mind and you people do not even have to give me credit for it. it is just carnalitas 2.2. really I do not mind at all if you save Cheri and all of you a lot of headache and time.

Infact if you do the time date on the original zip ... you can see which files I modified in the time line. 

so the one posted in Caranalitas frame work. and go trough them and see if you agree or not agree with the changes I made.. 

 

the original product and my modifications was never my own, neither do I claim any rights to it. or need to be credited.

@Drake_Hound Thanks, but IMO unofficial patches save time only in the short term. In the long term they create more issues than they solve, because the community splits and everyone is confused what to use. Carnalitas should have an official release that is both updated to CK3 1.12 and backward compatible. I am trying to help to get there, already opened a PR making Carnalitas 2.3 backward compatible with existing mods, and posted archives in the Carnalitas Discord server.

I agree with you, I am glad Criske saved his/her old files, incase we have to go back to the old system. 

So not to do tons more work, and I am with you in that case of reverting to old syntax. and how much work you did already. 

 

so am glad you already done the reverting of the stuff. and no I don't want to officialy commit or do anything. Lazy already asked. 

I just do whatever I want for free, whenever I want.

I just released new version 0.19.1, for CK3 1.12.x and Carnalitas 2.4, see file. Since Carnalitas 2.4 is now backward compatible again, this version mainly reverts the changes I had to do in 0.19.0 to adapt to changes in Carnalitas 2.3. If you use Carnalitas 2.3 and CSR 0.19.0 please switch to the new versions.

Yes, I know, a lot of confusion. Now however Carnalitas 2.4 is backward compatible again, the new CSR version 0.19.1 is based on it, so everything should work fine. I also just released a compatible CLR version.

Yes, but this document that I uploaded in this forum is more new than github cuz that's a little hard to upload et update document in git hub

Is it a bug or i did sth wrong? It seems priests are broken. All priests cannot hold temple territory and regardless of doctrine they can marry and be knights.

I play with Carnalitas 2.4 and slavery expansion.

Are you using any other mods? I only get this issue if I use mods like Elf Destiny

Hi, thnx for the mod, really like it.

 

One question though, I really like to have a full female slave council.

But some positions are now locked for slaves with this mod...

Is there a file in the mod I can delete to make this possible again?

Currently "Spymaster" is always available, "Chancellor", "Steward" and "Marshal" are available if your government is clan or tribal, or if you have chosen "employer" slavery attitude as also described in the README. "Court Chaplain" is not available, since it would be really hard to think of a historical (or even not so historical) example for a slave to have such an important religious role. "Spouse" is anyway impossible, and "Vizier" is reserved for diarchs in the game, so also not appropriate.

 

You could delete common/council_positions/zzz_00_council_positions.txt to lift these restrictions completely.
