Somebody uploaded a Skyshards patch in the Ryn's Bleakwind Basin comments

Ok, i tested it and it works. Sadly we'd still end up with holes in the landscape.

Sadly Terrain Parallax Blending Fix isn't working for us.

1. Yep, that was the reason i uploaded the files.

2. Check the MCM of OBody.

Moved 'File Sorting' up to the modlist.

Updated my test list for patches. Had to rename a few to get them better sorted (and to immediately know what they are for).

Ouch! The predefined setup uses quite a few bodyslide presets.

Gonna go with, I should not use the Curvy one and just use the ones with the mod already.  Sorry, I was traveling so I am back now.

only holes? that should be fixable. I'll add it to my list.

Something new every day...

It was a patch conflict! Never seen that happen before. Now i can safely readd Ryn's mod and remove the warning.

But i'll get some food and a nap first. Just (aka 3 hours ago (time flies!)) came back from work and really need some sleep...

@ne90299

Thanks for the info. I added it to the entry. :)

Hey Aylis, I saw a little typo on the note you added. The groundcovers are actually part of the Skyrim 3D Landscapes mod and not the Skyland AIO.

Anywho, thanks for the awesome mod list and all your hard work!

@Aylis I strongly suggest keeping/adding a note on the Sunder and Wraithguard patches that they conflict with Estrus. Because I can totally see people adding that and then complaining that the modlist doesn't even load into the mainmenu.

@alaunus01

Good point. Added to the hotfix

With the next update i'll add a warning to the patches as well (its already in the preview for it).

Aylis!  It's good to see you.  Haven't seen you for ages on the FO4 thread, I'm glad to see you're alive and kicking.

Question about the build as it currently stands:  Under the Sex Mods, you tagged a couple of sections as "unsupported".  Is it worth adding them or are they a bit flaky with AE?

They all work as they are, but SexLab could become problematic/unstable if you add more mods or a mod gets an update. As i'm usually the one who gets asked why this mod or that one doesn't work i added the 'unsupported'. Can't say much about mods that i don't intend to use myself...

I might add later a 'Authors Choice' which will have less mods included. But then i should be able to offer help if a problem shows up.

And after the next update here i should have time to work on FO4 again. I just can't do two guides at the same time (Thorsten helps, but it is still an immense amount of work). I tried to do that before, but then i start to mix things up and thats not a good thing. ;)

Easy explanation for FO4. I reinstalled it on my new machine and the day after bethesda announced an upcoming 'upgrade' (right about the fallout anniversary celebrations iirc)
Makes no sense to tinker when you have to scrap the whole thing later this year (especially with the amount of details aylis was .... obsessing over)

Unusupported as in Aylis runs (and tests) only the open sex mods, sexlab and the combined order are 3rd party and/or best guess. Stuff slips through.
Like for example: Sexlab Framework PPLUS needs to load after Lipsync Fix (lipsync fix is redundant in PPLUS and anything overwriting PPLUS scripts is BAD )

Huh? Did i miss something? Changed

If something like this comes up then tell me about it. I try to get everything right when i list the mods, but sometimes something still slips through.

Thanks Aylis and alaunus01!

I don't use those particular mods, but I appreciate all the detail notes added to the guide in general. I am often searching (control F) the guide for info about mods. Even conflict notes about things that did not make the guide or were removed are helpful!

BTW, I still wish there was a one click way to expand the entire guide. I am often going through and expanding every individual thing!

?

Seriously?

@jaeos Once wrote how to handle users. He only made the mistake to overestimate the age-group. I guess when i reduce the number by 50% i'll still get surprises... ?

Added instructions how to use single ESP. Done

It is all coming together nicely. Just had another run in with bandits.

Their mage fumbled with his spell (i guess fireball) and blew himself up ('Unattuned - Immersive Spell Failure'). Their archer was also caught in the blast and caught fire, which made him run to the next creek. Well, he tried, but wasn't faster than my arrows...

Their leader and another bandit got closer and i switched to my twohanded sword (i had reforged the one from 'Away, Come Away'). I could dodge their first attacks ('Precision' works very nicely) and my counterattack hit both at the same time (the 'new animations' are great). The smaller bandit went down and a few blocks and swings later the leader hit the grass as well. A few more criminals less in Skyrim.

At first i wasn't sure if all the different add-ons would play nice together, but combining them works better than expected. Combat is fast and quite bloody (rightfully so) and getting into the right position became more important than before (without becoming a Sony-QTE). My biggest surprise was that 3rd person works so well (still have to look for a dodge mod). I usually prefer 1st person, but now i can manage to fight in 3rd person view as well.

From the visual standpoint i'm very happy. There are still a few minor spots where the textures don't match perfectly (i hope to get those as well), but those are becoming less and less obvious and most of the time you actually have to look for them to even find those errors. Just running around normally means you won't see them at all.

When it comes to 'atmosphere' i think i got it. Dungeons/crypts/caves look great, same as the interiors of buildings. All the added music and soundeffects makes exploring interesting and often enough i simply have to make a break to take a look at my surroundings.

Wish i was there...

Foggy day in the evening near Whiterun.

I'm running into some kind of parallax related issue with roads. This screenshot is from the road outside of Four Shields Tavern in Dragon Bridge:
