Well I tried again with seasons/seasonal landscape and still having the same issue.  Double checked that I re-ran Lux et al..  Made sure DydnoLod was sorted to the bottom (and higher and lower).  Still having the same failure to unload at the same spots.

 

I did try with the unload bug fix mod - honestly not sure what it really attempts to accomplish after using it.  There may be situations where LOD gets stuck which it might help, but for the problems we're having (LOD not unloading when moving into a local cell), it doesn't really help.  It does give you the option to trigger a cell fix manually, which does work.  But it basically "fast travels" you to your current location, triggering a load screen.  Since where I've seen it is generally located around buildings, you'll be going in or going past.. so the triggered fix isn't much benefit.  I'm sure it does serve a purpose, but not for me in this instance.

 

The post you'd mentioned with other DyndoLod problems, like referencing mills/waterwheels may not be the same thing.  I'd found that waterwheels were never present after running DyndoLod too.  But I'd fixed that with setting the waterwheel config on DyndoLod from "replace" to "unchanged".  I did the same with windmills and realized that I'd never noticed they never seemed to exist before...  waterwheels are obvious when they're gone, but the windmills I always just thought they were like grain silos. 

 

Since this unload problem didn't occur when I had my initial set-up (mid Feb), but became constant since various updates along the way, I can only think that it is related to the update that rolled out in March.  It would be nice to have the old versions to check that hypothesis.  It's either that, or some other random conflict....

 

But from my experience - the unload problem I've been seeing isn't present when I've run all the LOD gen cycles without seasons.  I've not tried with a single "forced" season, but running this modlist without the seasons of skyrim enabled and purely default LOD seems clean.... if not as fulfilling... :(

 

The unload fails seems pretty sparse, but I've not had much chance to run around - there may be locations where it's just unbearable, but not yet found.  Even after running bleakfalls a million times in the past 2 months, it's still not so invested to be too heartwrenching to scrap and restart.  :)

On the instructions page for "A Clear Map of Skyrim", it says that you need to change the LOD32 to Billboard 6 on the tree page, and to Lvel 0 on the / page. I didn't do that, but I also don't have roads on my map. Before I run DynDOLOD again, is this accurate, and do you think you'll update the screenshots in the instructions to reflect that?

 

Possibly related: I have, and I think I always have, very jagged water shapes on my map. Very sharp straight angles of all the bodies of water, rather than organic lake or river shapes. I think this is setting my xLODgen settings too low, but I'm fairly sure I followed the guide. Has anyone had a similar result with these settings? (I'm almost certain to update this to say I missed a really obvious setting of course)

The windmills were always a bit tricky. I ran DynDOLOD and they were there, now, after another run, they are gone again. I'm abit confused why this happens and i'm sure i didn't change any settings or mods (that i know of) which might affect them.

 

Your tip about the settings for them and the waterwheels is something i'll look into. If that works out i'll have one headacheinducing problem gone and will upload a file for that. But i still have to check out the new version of DynDOLOD and i hate sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, while DynDOLOD runs. I REALLY wish it wouldn't take so long...

 

And there are still so many things i want to get in or fix.

Comprehensive Attack Speed Patch could fix the speed bug for some weapons

I want to include something like Dirt and Blood Expanded and Individual Cracks and Crevices

Stones of Solitude doesn't seem to work correctly anymore (seasons related?)

Dismemberment would make sense but could end up being too much/comical.

Draugr Patrols and Cavalry sounds interesting, but i fear they could appear too often.

 

And i'm not too happy with the replacers for the vanilla armors. The conflicts and overlaps with the two big packs drive me nuts (especially with all the renaming of the vanilla armors). Lets HDT those ARMORS doesn't make it easier and i'll very likely drop it completely from my testlist. But i found a SPID that hopefully fixes the issue without being too disruptive for existing savegames. Seems to work, but i'll run more tests.

1. Yes, the settings are correct. One is a setting only for the TERRAIN - the other one is for the LOD itself.

    The roads are added after you've run the part for the terrain.

2. That is related to the LOD32. They will never be perfect, but what you describe is something going wrong.

None of them. Just leave everything from the guide enabled but choose the TAWOBA replacers as the winner of the conflict in Bodyslide.

* I still use the regular version of Dirt and Blood. Works fine for me in AE. I have it placed where it was placed in the old SE list.

* The conflicts with the vanilla armor replacers are solved with this ISC/VAR patch. The Wolf armor in particular wouldn't work for me. This immediately fixes it. I'm with you in that I really, really hate how NordWarUA renamed the vanilla armor and has his armor point to a different file path. It makes it so much harder to troubleshoot and makes running it in Bodyslide annoying. But the patch fixed literally everything for me. I've got it loaded low in the Patches section.

Hey @Aylis Just a heads up with the current order you have the Daegon mods listed for installing it naturally causes her to have blackface when you run into her and you have to shuffle the plugins around to make it work right. Maybe changing the way you have it set to be installed under the companions section could fix that so people wouldn't have to mess with the plugins?

Another thing I just realized. At Your Own Pace - Thieves Guild has none of the QoL Stones of Barenziah changes TGR implements.

 

I was on the fence which solution I prefer but with that TGR clearly wins for me. Back to installing all the compability patches I just removed ?

 

edit: @Aylis Daegon went through a couple changes the past days version 1.4.3.2 now.

I use the newest Pantheon version here. I'm also downloading the newest version of the main mod now.

But i don't like this high-heel armor (the list of 'what-is-wrong-with-it' is very long indeed). I'll try to create a patch to get the old one back... No chance. Armor is completely different.

 Then yes I do, I have the zero weight version installed. But I am still generating black face with her. I've been playing with the plugin order trying to make her stop black facing but it keeps happening :/

That is weird because I am just going in the install order of the guide :/ Didn't think it would warp the plugins too badly while doing that.

Naked Defeat (plus its update to 4.81 and Naked Defeat - Voice) is a good alternative for 'ODefeat'.

The upcoming change for the armors will require changes to the optional Dwemer armor as well.

Lightened Skyrim should increase the FPS. Just below USSEP it gets overwritten by all the changes and i had no issues with it so far. *knocks on wood*

What? With something like Skyrim you need all the small advantages you can get.

Just looking at your consideration for Mihail's Hawk and Eagle Replacer.  I'd used it for a bit up until today, when I saw a new Hawk replacer and jumped on it instead.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77204

 

Mihail's wasn't bad, but it has its issues.  Ex:  when you down one that is flying around, it doesn't drop.  A corpse spawns instead at its nesting location and falls.  So if you don't know where the particular bird nests, you may never find the body.  Also, the first dungeon run I had with it installed, (my favorite Bleak Falls Barrow) there was a hawk near the outside of the structure.  Unfortunately, the bird was spamming its audio which could be heard until you exit to the next zone.  This at least can be fixed by hiding the audio files from the mod though.  Figured I'd pass on my experiences with it.

Look at the fineprint. It uses Landscape and Water Fixes as a base reference so we will probably end up with landscape seams at the locations we dropped LaWF for again.

Which makes it even worse. We get all the terrain changes from LaWF the author incorporated but none of the compability patches.

First of all for thank you very much for your effort, this compenidum of beauty. Vote for sticky?

 

And a question: modlist / foundation: why listing the replacers for flowers (Mari, Cathedral) before "Seasonal landscaapes", while this mod overwrites them both and makes them obsolete? Should I completely misunderstand the topic, I'm sorry for me mixing it up.

And if thas has been answered before, sorry twice!

I tried out the Ostim & Sexlab combo (because apparently I enjoy creating problems for myself, lol) and have an issue/question. First off, Ostim works perfectly fine. After a Sexlab scene, I can't move my character, unsheathe weapons, nothing. Controls are just gone. I didn't install the entire list (I left out the creatures and such), just the basic stuff. Tried looking online elsewhere before I asked for help here. This happen to anyone else? Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated!

Aylis, I appreciate all of your work! Glad to be getting back into modding, now that I've installed Anniversary Edition on a clean drive free of all previous mods.

Looking over the updated list, something isn't terribly clear to me. Is DynDOLOD being run more than once? I'm looking through the list for the right places to run it, Wyre Bash, xEdit, etc. My fear is that I will run something at the wrong time, or multiple times when unnecessary, and screw up the process. Am I missing something?
