cloudmc Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 (edited) Anyone have any issues with Alternate Perspective? I am doing the default quest (sleep in the inn) but nothing happens. I wake up and then nothing,,,, Even choosing another option doesn't seem to start the beginning quest. I chose regular at sleeping giant inn and ran back and helgen is still around. I was being dumb, I didn't see the 2nd option for rent a room, start quest Edited March 29, 2023 by cloudmc

It just takes a while to load, and also you need to fiddle with the settings a bit. The default settings when you first load in aren't enough to give your character a glossy look, especially if you don't have glossy skin textures for it.
darqonus Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 As for all the questions around Wet Function Redux. I am running it, have it showing in the menu's and seemingly working properly with no issues on 640. Give it a try before you say it does not work vs just posting the page recommendations. It might not be designed to work on 640 but seems to just fine is what im saying.
Chaas Paike Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I am not to be sure about this but: In the picture Run xlodgen with seasons, Blackreach is checked. Solstheim is checked although on the Seasonal Landscapes Mod, during the instructions installation is unchecked.
Rey_Vegeta Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 I have never used OBody. What are the Zeroed sliders for?
psychoqwirk420 Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 27 minutes ago, Rey_Vegeta said: I have never used OBody. What are the Zeroed sliders for? So that the other bodies that you have can overwrite the zeroed body. For example: If your default female body was a big-breasted skinny body, and you had a preset in your load order that had even bigger breasts, then when/if OBody made a random selection on a character in the world, their breasts would be even bigger than before. If you have a zeroed body, then it's a clean slate for OBody to distribute the body presets and have them look as close to ideal as possible. Same goes for outfits and males. Zeroed body base makes for a better quality distribution. Make sense? Hope I didn't confuse you lol 2
Alabaster_Stone Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 @Aylis I got some bad news, the execution bug is back again with the two handed weapons, I was doing my berserk build and it executed me when I executed someone else.

alaunus01 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 You could guinea pig disabling ODefeat and see if that is the reason for the self execution.

Klokeofdarkness Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Well, I have given up and I am here asking for everyone's help. I get to the game all the way to load continue new etc and when I click New. Instant CTD and I have no idea where to start here.
Klokeofdarkness Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 As a troubleshooting step, I removed all sex mods, ran FNIS to remove everything there and then tried again and still CTD.

That would give you an idea what MIGHT be the problem. Here is a document about how to (ish) read them. Fair warning, it's not as "black and white" as you'd hope, but it might give you an idea. When you followed this guide, did you install everything? Meaning any mod that needed a prerequisite (required mod). Also, if you installed any additional mods that are outside of the guide, did you install requirements and/or check for compatibility? Did you download the correct version of the mod (meaning the version that corresponds with your game version)? There is a LOT of reasons the game would CTD. Load order issues and missing requirements have usually been the culprit in my experience. We would need a little more information if anyone can try to assist.

Chet Grubbington Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Currently trying to debug a green water coloring issue. Outside, water looks fine: Spoiler But Inside it gets this green reflection. First image is Broken Oar Grotto where it looks particularly bad. Second is Solitude sewers. Spoiler I've tried moving water modifying esps to the bottom of the load order and rebuilding Bashed Patch to no success. I'm using Pi-CHO ENB with Aylis' tweaks.

Load order issues and missing requirements have usually been the culprit in my experience. We would need a little more information if anyone can try to assist. All fair questions, let me see what I can do about answering them. 1. I did and I appreciate the document and I will try to check that out. 2. I did follow the guide but it was 900+ installs so I am sure I might have oopsed at some point so I am doing my do diligence and going through it all again as they are all downloaded now, I just have to check them off as I go so it will be much less painful. 3. I do not have any mods outside the guide installed. Though I plan to eventually but would not ask for help on those, etc. 4. I have been downloading the AE (.640) version of the mods as under File Version mine says 1.6.640.0. 5. I loaded them all in the exact order that the mod had posted, so if they are not needing to be in that exact order, mine will be wrong. 6. On a side note, I do know that even after reading I have 0 clue at all what to do with Wyre Bash. So maybe that is part of the issue.

libertyordeath Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 (edited) >_> Typical LLabs. First they create a complex patchwork contraption of a sexmod ecosystem. Then instead of keeping the guides limited to getting just that contraption to work, they throw a hundred unrequired and unrelated mods into the mix, for maximum confusion. I don't get it: If you wanna maximize difficulty, then why use a guide at all? Real men don't need no guides! Trial and error is the real hardcore! Anyways, i'm done ranting now. Gonna look for another guide that focuses only on getting the bodies, physics, vanilla clothing and sexlab fundamentals to work. Let's see if such a thing exists. Gonna look for another guide that focuses only on getting the bodies, physics, vanilla clothing and sexlab fundamentals to work. Let's see if such a thing exists. Well, aren't you just a special kinda <redacted>. Odds of you finding a very minimal guide like you are looking for is going to be very low to none, because: a) if you follow the install instructions for sexlab, you will get the basic setup. b) Every guide has the basic setup embedded in it. You get the main mods, usually the ones that are esm, and any of their dependencies related toto them, that will be your basic setup. c) A 'basic setup' can be very abstract concept depending on what you consider to be the basics when if comes to sex mods. This can also include whatever kinks, bells, and whistles you might want. Also, some mods, like sexlab unironically, are either not all in one packages, or are enhanced through the use of other mods, so basic, depending on what you are looking for, can quickly get complicated. d) most likely, what you are looking for, is probably more akin to a 'bare-bones', no thrills setup, which is usually used for troubleshooting, which again, I point you back to a) e) as for body and physics, I have to laugh here, because there is no 1 universal setup depending on whether you want to use either pure smp, CBPC, or a combination of both (which this modlist uses). As for body, same thing: pick what body type you want (cbbe, BHUNP, 3BBB, 3ba, etc) and its requirements, get bodyslide, and go to town. In short, this isn't fallout 4 modding, where you only got 1 or 2 options to choose from. But if you took a moment think, you would realize that you could easily discard 95% of what's in this list based on what it does. To make it simple for you: You need all of skse (i.e., the mods that keep the gaming function properly), Most of UI (To make things legible), most of PC (to make your character beautiful / good looking, just get rid of the options you don't want), the pieces of physics and animation (Just ignore the animation packs), little over half of the sexmod section (minus the parts you don't want), and anything from patches for the stuff you kept from the previous sections. Everything else is optional, but makes the game prettier (except for the stuff in weapons and armour, but that's more a style disagreement than actual bad choices). And don't forget FNIS and/or nemesis, in case you're on of those people who don't actually read requirements for mods, or they're description pages, which often include important instructs for getting the mod to work properly. Otherwise, do your homework, figure out which of the main options you want to play with, install them and their requirements, and there's your basic #)*(%&@#*()%$ setup. If you have questions, feel free to ask them, and I am sure someone will answer them. If you just want to whine because you don't like a given mod list's setup, just save yourself the embarrassment, and stick to either whining to your computer monitor, or just write it down in note pad next time. toodles! 2

You can, literally, unironically, just grab the mods you want from each section and 9/10 they will work just fine. Thats the entire point of this guide, besides very few mods you can use one entire section, skip the other and just pick one of the next one. Or, or OR you can be a """""""""""real men""""""""""""" and figure out your own, guide, its 2023, if you cant figure your own mods/grab one guide then edit to your liking, just quit modding. 1
