Cases vary dramatically from person to person, and arguments can be made on both sides, but I can only speak about my experience. I had FAR more trouble with Vortex than I did with MO2. Only asking because in MO2 (can't remember on Vortex) there is an indicator that a Master is missing. I'm also not using LOOT to sort my plugins and have stuck to this guide's load order. However, I have added additional mods outside of the guide. You can always try the famous (yet tedious) method of disabling half of your mods, try the game. Not work? Disable half again, try. Not work? Try half again. Keep doing that till it works. Then you can narrow it down to what the issue mod is. Then you can have a better idea on how to fix it. Hope some of that helps?
markvarley Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 (edited) My steps for Wyre Bash, as someone who's not new at all to modding (using) (back to skyrim after about 7 years away in Fallout4) but never made bashed patches before, I learned a few months ago when working through this list, might be helpful for others: install and run Wyre Bash when everything is installed and load order sorted. 'File', 'New Bashed Patch', scroll to the bottom of your load order and Right Click "Bashed Patch, 0.esp", select 'Rebuild Patch', from here you can just click Build Patch or make some changes, here are the changes I make (my personal choices): in the Left column select Tweak Settings, then in the Right Column Right Click and change: 'Actor: Max Companions' to '10' 'Actor: Merchant Restock Time' to '1 Day' 'Arrow: Max Arrows Attached To NPC' to '30' 'Arrow: Recovery From Actor' to '70%' 'Combat: Disable Projectile Dodging' 'Crime: Alarm Distance' to '1000' 'Crime Pickpocketing Chance' to '25% to 100%' click 'Build Patch' when you're done making any changes and wait while it does it's thing, when it's finished it'll ask if you want to activate the patch esp and it'll show you a report of everything it's done, click 'yes' and close Wyre Bash. First off Thank you for the help. I wish I saw this earlier, lol but better late than never. I am using MO2. So I turned off everything first, then did section by section that mattered to me. You know, the important stuff only. My Body. Making sure the breast bounce and I have a nice ass. Then I added back on all of the sex mods, because, well, sex mods. All of those work. Though Ostim or what ever it is called says it cannot launch once I get to the console so I will have to troubleshoot that. Added back in UI, Housing, Companions and can still launch, started down Foundation which crashes before the game even launches now. so I have spot checked everything and now I am running LOD which will take an hour or two so I will finish up in the morning. Worst case, games ugly but I boink everything to take my aggression out. Though sadly defeat won’t work either as Ostim is not functional. 1

I have been doing a lot of this over team viewer so it’s unplayable. I do have a question. So I downloaded and installed all of the zero bodyslides and also the char presets. Does that mean that I do not need to run Bodyslide at all? The next question is I want to use the Creamy Curves and Diamond Skin body. At what point do I select that in game or how do I specify that is the one I want to use? I cannot express enough how appreciative I am to have you guys around. 1

Yep, that was the reason i uploaded the files. 2. Check the MCM of OBody. __________________________________________________ Moved 'File Sorting' up to the modlist. Updated my test list for patches. Had to rename a few to get them better sorted (and to immediately know what they are for). __________________________________________________ Ouch! My "Defeat" is working just fine, so perhaps there is a load order issue for you? I'm not sure, but I would definitely start there. Should help get some kinks out?

remodel Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 I'm still playing the build from the pre AE build. One weapon animation is driving me nuts and I don't know the animation mod that causes it. Here are some screen pics: This is the dagger 1st person, which blocks seeing objects (think traps) just before PC. Next animation occurs when carrying a shield and pulling the dagger. You can see nothing of your target. It takes time to drop the shield and I've lost surprise because of it. Please let me know what mod caused this. When I get to this build I'll be sure to find another animation mod if it's still being used. This is awful for my game play.

psychoqwirk420 Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 I went the route of no ENB (because it tanks my FPS and honestly, doesn't look ALL that great) and instead used Skyrim Upscaler with a Reshade. On top of that I used the Community Shaders/Grass Lighting/Grass Collision/Tree LOD Lighting/Soft Shadows/Vanilla HDR combination. I'm quite happy with the performace boost, however there are some caveats that others might not enjoy. There is a bit of artifacting that happens every now and then. It's noticable more when lips are moving (at least for me), but otherwise looks good. Personally, I was getting about 20-30 FPS with ENB and zero parralax. Now I average around 50-60 FPS. Everybody will get different performance (if any) because everyone has different GPU/CPU combinations. I've got a Ryzen 7 5800 X CPU and a Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU for comparisson. Also, I play in 1440. I told that story to tell you this one, lol. The Grass Collision isn't as good as it is with ENB. Yes, it moves around, but not like ENB's does. I would say ENB is a bit more "fluid" (for lack of a better term). Therefore, I would recommend that if you're happy with ENB, stick with it as it already has grass collisions. If you're a masochist who enjoys tinkering with your game to see what runs better and/or just want to try a new thing out and aren't afraid to (possibly) fail...then you can try the Skyrim Upscaler (not ENB compatible) with the combination I mentioned and test it yourself. I can send you a couple videos on some basic setup if anyone is interested.

If it moves to the normal esm loading space I get an error about it being before masters. It's got a few esp that are masters for it... Lux Via - Markath Entrance and Farm Overhaul.esp, Lux Via.esp, Skyrim Extended Cut - Saints and Seducer.esp and Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. Think I figured it out, I needed to keep the bold things (not just .esm) in the right order. I used the plugin to sync load order to mod list and it seems to have done it correctly, other than having to fix a few patches that were in higher mods then the masters were Edited April 1, 2023 by cloudmc

Yay! ? Got through a lot of the patches and found out that 'Estrus' is incompatible with one of them. I might have to remove 'Estrus' and the mods requiring it (the suggested fix didn't work). Found some animations that look promising (and try to find one i've read about). Greatswords are perfect now! I also got some mesh replacers to check. If those work out they'll fix something i was always annoyed about (aka the broken floors in houses). Seem to work fine Finally found something for Falkreath. Now it looks more like a capital and not like a couple of houses thrown into the midst of a forest. Might require a new game Edited April 1, 2023 by Aylis 1

I'm not so sure about this one. Some people have problems with it and it is a bit off (two loading screens just to get there and another one to enter it). From the logic side it makes sense, but it feels clunky to actually use the shop there. I'd rather like to spend time on working on the integration of something like AYOP. I'm using PI-CHO ENB with your custom enbseries.ini. I'm also using all the Blended Roads mods and fixes in the list, The Omnibus - Terrain Complex Parallax AiO, Lux/Lux Via/Lux Orbis and all fixes/patches on the list, and Auto Parallax. Here's another terrain glitch at the Quicksilver Mine in Dawnstar. Is there any other location it could be? (I checked enblocal.ini and made sure ShaderCache=true). I tried to check if my video card has shader cache enabled but it seems like it's on by default and couldn't find any option other than shader cache size (I'm using an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super). According to this random post, apparently the enbcache folder doesn't exist anymore? Not sure if it's correct or not. Also not sure if this is related but whenever I run the game, there's a "Shader Cache" folder in the overwrite of MO2, but its always empty. EDIT: I figured out the problem!! When I installed Skyrim Landscapes I also installed the Skyrim 3D Landscapes Groundcovers. When I disabled that, it fixed the problem. Just so you know, the latest OStim NG requires a newer version of OSA in a different github page. You can see it in files section in OStim NG - OSA Overhaul and API Next Gen at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
