Is there a good guide for the CBBE 3BA body installation for this?

 

I can only get SMP to work, but CBPC is not working at all :(

Not even sure which mod should overwrite what and some mods are twice in the Opening Thread without further explanation.

I had issues with getting a body to work too.  For this setup to work optimally you need to build almost everything with zeroed sliders (exception follower mods - zeroed armor files work for them). Basically what I did was install the entire OBODY set up at once using the BodySlide files from the Game Listing.  The PC is the modder's responsibility.

 

Then Built the PC Body in Body Slide. Using the setting in Pic Below:

Be careful on the Batch Build and make sure only the CBBE 3BBB body is selected.  You want the batch build for the morphs. It will try to build a bunch of bodies and armor/clothing.

 

This worked for me.

I may have answered you wrong.  I don't know what mods the statement statement refers to.

 

I mostly followed the guide, jumped ahead to the OBODY installation, and built the body as explained, then everything to came together and worked.

The modlist is set up so that the load order and overwrites are done by order of the mod list.  Some of the mods show to be installed multiple times in the list, so that patches/addons are installed (right pane) as additional mods are installed.  So first install is base mod, second (reinstall) will include patches or addons after secondary mods are installed, and the new bits will be properly located in the load order.  Basically, do it top down as instructed and your overwrites are already done for you.

It did not work for me. 

 

There are several files for CBBE bodies, its not even clear which one to select in Bodyslide. SMP Physics work for the boobs now (and look horribly o_O) but the CBPC Body physics do not work. No idea... the guides I found do not adress the issue.

I don't know why, but until I got OBODY installed I also had issues.  Probably, because of the zeroed sliders for a player character; I'd never seen that before.  I loaded the character bodyslide output just below SKSE Tintmask Configs in PC section.  I originally, Used a full body preset (without head) for the body, but OBODY wasn't playing well with it and didn't distribute different bodies as frequently as my zeroed PC slider body.   I built the zeroed PC body after the Obody install.  Be sure to build the PC body with morphs, you might want to adjust the body; remember it's zeroed.

 

The Obody installs are under the Gameplay - Anatomy section.   Put the OBODY configuration file and slider Presets in the guide order.  Aylis made the 3BA - Zeroed Preset.  Make sure to use the premade sliders sets referenced in the guide for other things like armor or followers near the bottom.  I made a separate Section for BodySlide files Just above FINAL and made sure they're ordered the same as the loaded mods.  They will overwrite each other.  

 

I sent a pic of the selections I made and they worked for me.

 

The Parallax, OBODY, and new SexLab configurations are throwing me into loops of troubleshooting.

 

Aylis has put together an outstanding set of realistic armors for the guide.  If you want realism follow the guide.  Of Course I'm off the wall, and went in another direction.  Aylis probably wouldn't support my armor choices, but the guide is robust enough to allow me to do it so it works.

I appreciate that you're trying to help, but:

I've already tried everything

It worked before. It isn't me starting with the modpack and it not working. It worked and I didn't change ANYTHING, even a simple texture mod, between the times when it worked and when it didn't. So I completely understand that you want to help by saying that I need to have this or that or check the file extensions, but not only they are correct, they all worked before.

I'm not going to ditch my 100+ hour playthrough because my sex mods have suddenly stopped working.

So at this point I guess I'm looking for either people who have encountered and successfully fixed a similar problem(And I know for a fact those people exist from Sexlab p+ threads) or people who know how to troubleshoot and fix complex script issues in an active save, because it clearly is a sign of some sort of script being broken.

Got it, That wasn't clear before.  I guess you did all the reset with Sexlab and SexLab P+ and reloaded them.

 

Also you don't have to ditch you 100 saves.  Create a new game under a different name and see if SexLab works.

It seems like the issue is unfrequently being reported in Sexlab PPlus Discord as well, but no real fix from anyone. As far as I can understand, some kind of script has a chance of getting borked and baked into your save, so any new attempts can't properly call on actors and get empty strings, which doesn't allow animation to start. What a mess. I couldn't figure out if there's anything I can delete or disable with the ReSaver, so I guess that's just that.

EDIT: Nevermind, might've fixed it. Backed up my save and went full on nuclear on it by deleting all instances of script that is mentioned in the log. It broke Sexlab completely, it didn't even output the error. Then I reinitialized it again from the menu and it seemed to have baked a working script into my save again, making things work. Obviously, this might've broken a lot of other things in my save, I haven't fully tested all this yet so I can't call it a solution for now. But as I suspected, it's a broken script.

Your error comes from this call made to Skyrim.esm.  Something blocked adding your PC to the leveled lists and SexLab's call to Skyrim Failed.  
error: Cannot call GetLeveledActorBase() on a None object, aborting function call

 

Then SlEN is passed a NUll resulting in the following call and eventually failure to load an animation.
<unknown self>.slenutility.MakeTaggedSexEx() - "SLENUtility.psc" Line 49

 

I posted this on:  SexLab P+  with annotation the developers can check easily.  Look for their reply.

OK I see the problem. I sent a tiny pic of the BodySlide I used; can't read the thing.  Microsoft doesn't support 3D Paint anymore and I'm trying to figure the file size width by pixels in Adobe.  Clearly I need to bump it up.

yeah thx. got it to work now. 
somehow I did the right thing in Bodyslide but confused the files in the 3BA nexus download.... Seems I dont have some SE/AE terms memorized yet. Alot hase changed indeed! 

Now I m on the quest for CBBE textures that do not look like a plastic inflatable sex doll :D
realistic skin whatever looked like an orange fruit o_O

(trying Mature Skin next)

What exactly do you mean? If you mean that specific icon from the screenshot, it only shows up during certain phases. Or are your icon broken/different somehow?

"SexLab - Fertility Mode - fixes and Tweaks"  has the widget.  Aylis has her recommendation setting just below in a Spoiler.  Open MCM start the mod,  I don't remember if you need to enable the widget.  Kazurahi22 is right, I get different Icons for different periods, anatomical (womb and ovaries) included.  After sex I get the one you showed in the pic.  Make and drink your pregnancy prevention potion or maybe get pregnant.

Yeah, of the icons I get, pre-ovulation and ovulation are the same circle within a circle, non-fertile is an anatomical image, and end of cycle is four drops in a diamond pattern. Pregnancy is similar to the icon in the image, but there's no red portion.

Greetings all!  Going through this modlist once more and ran into a bit of an issue.  I'm on the heavy armors section and running into Black Face and missing limbs for Ralof in the opening scenes thanks to the Sons of Skyrim mod.  Specifically narrowed it down to Sons of Skyrim - 3BA Unibody Bodyslide Preset being the culprit.  Any advice or patches that will rectify this?  Thanks in advance for your help!

I've been having a devil of a time with the game crashing just before character creation.  I've been fighting for weeks.  I'd uninstall the mods I just installed and it'd work.  I'd do something as simple as a BodySlide change and it'd crash before character creation.  So I fixed a bunch of errors like a missing patch and such, I like running loot for that sort of thing and I get some good suggestions and some bas ones; but more help then not (No I didn't sort the mods).  I removed "Faster HDT-SMP - XML Files" since they're out of date, they aren't even on the list and rebuilt the body.  I was still getting this crash.

 

Then I read in the Faster HDT-SMP forum that "SMP-NPC crash fix" was incompatible for Skyrim AE version 1.6.1170.  Although others said it work for them.  Some even said to disable when running Nemesis (I guess Pandora now) then reenable and it would work.  The Info seems all over the place in the forum.

 

I disabled "SMP-NPC crash fix" and my game works now.  So If you're crashing at the character creation screen and the crash log says Unhandled exception ..... VCRUNTIME140.dll and in the stack there's a reference to hdtSMP64.dll, this MOD might be the problem.  I will say I haven't had any problems with it while testing created characters.  It might be something I turn back when I have a running character, I'll see if I have an SMP crash while playing.

Yes, first a test. You'll need a save prior to meeting the NPC for the first time.  

 

Second, Open SSEEDIT and select the "Bashed Patch" and "High Poly NPC Overhaul -........".  You don't need to select anything else.  If the MOD you think is a problem doesn't show, it's not a problem we don't need it. I'd grab all three High poly replacer and support mods.  If you don't have a Bashed Patch, now's the time to do it.

   - apply the filter show conflicts, it'll run a long time.

   - Go to the Non-Player Character (Actor) section of the Bashed patch and find Ralof under the (Editor ID)

  - Every mod that changes Ralof will precede the Bashed Patch version.  The only one we need is "High Poly NPC Overhaul -........".

  - Copy the cells from the mod look you want.  Aylis has provide the High Poly NPC Overhaul; which uses an armor type for the body, so be sure to copy it.  You can actually drag and drop.

 

Exit and save the bashed patch.  Run the save from before the black face and see if it's fixed.  If so your permanent fix is to create a mod to forward the look to a higher priority past the offending mod.   You'll need to learn how to make a simple patch.

 

Additionally, you can find other Black, brown, gray face issues in the Bashed Patch and you can fix them all at once.  Conflict show up with color codes and I can't remember which color combinations indicate the problem.  Use Rolaf to guide you on the colors.

 

Now for the question I have, Did you run more informative console on Rolaf by opening th console and clicking on Rolaf.  It will say what the last mod was that mess up Rolaf.  This is the first time I've run OBODY so I'm not positive, but I don't' see how a body preset could do this.

Unfortunately, I haven't made my way completely through the modlist yet.  I just finished the Heavy Armor section and was running a basic test like Aylis suggests you do when completing one of the sections.  The opening scene all the stormcloaks are affected to some degree and Ralof just seems to be the most affected.  From what I'm seeing of the entire list is that Wyre Bash is run toward the very end of all of this, meanwhile I still have like half the list to still download.  Do I just deactivate Sons of Skyrim for now, continue getting the rest of the list and ignore the black face for now, or is there something I can do to solve now?  Thanks again for the assist!

Its the 'Cloaks of Skyrim' that caused the problem here. Check the LO for them.

I keep getting infinite load screens after having to completely reinstall Skyrim and all it's mods. Well I've never been able to get Wrye Bash to work, if not for one reason, then another. So, would merging mods and esl flagging with Xedit be fine?

I do know the latest version of Wrye Bash has issues with the latest version of Windows 11 so if you are on Win11 use the last version of Wrye Bash which I believe is 312.1. I can't help you with the others questions though.

I just tried moving the patch for Sons of Skyrim down below the presets, but no luck.  If you're talking about the Cloaks mod itself, I've been downloading everything in the order of the modlist, and that is up in Light Armors.  Does it need to be moved?  Or am I missing something?  Or do I simply not need to worry about it for now and it'll be fixed when Wyre Bash gets run?
