The new categorization is looking very interesting! I am looking forward to seeing which mods get placed into which categories. As for your new color coding idea, I think it is great and ties in with this well. You could optionally add a color that means, "this is where you would put your own mods", like follower mods, custom armors, etc.

Trying to fit LotD in again? 👀 Has icecreamassassin reverted his stance to actively sabotage sexlab mod compability?

As far as i can tell they do work so far (havn't tested everything yet).

Short answer: No!

Long answer: Still 'No', as i use mods that are neither allowed in 'Wabbajack' nor in a 'Collection'.

Btw. look at the date of the first post here. Since then i'm improving and updating the guide...

Now ask me again about some 'hours' to set it up.

Well answered.

First of 'a few' updates.

===============================The list above this line has priority in case of a conflict==============================

=================================Everything below this line is subject to change=================================

This guide will never get updated...

I have the crazy idea to colorcode mods in the list:

Yellow mods        Optional mods. Nice to have but not essential.

Violet mods         Mods i won't use myself, but could be interesting to you.

Standard color    Mods that are required for the guide.

Hello!

First of all, thank you so much for making this modlist! I'm quite new to skyrim modding and modding in general and this page has been helping me along very nicely.

I've been working on this modlist for a few days now and noticed a new update for it today. Nice! I've been implementing some of the changes and just wanted to clarify something:

In the "Meshes" group, I'm getting a bit confused on the order. I think "Unofficial Material Fix" is throwing me off, because it links to the "Mesh Patch For Various Mods" page. Did you mean to instead link it to this page, or did you mean one of the unofficial material fix patches in the mesh patch page?

Thanks again, and keep up the great work! My Skyrim has never looked better thanks to you!

Second update is up.

Next step will be interesting as i found texture mods in the guide that i don't have installed here (its a complete reinstall for me too ;)). Those have to be re-evaluated.

Got 'OBody' working again (maybe i missed an update). Started on my version of the config file.

Spoiler

Still have to find more good presets (aka no silicon valley) for 3BA.

The Creation Club is almost as bad as LUX when it comes to patches...

Thats it for today. Site now refreshed twice while i was typing... Thats NOT funny!

Very (!) early morning and update 3 dropped.

I try to work as fast as possible to make the transition to the overhauled guide as smooth as possible.

Now as you can see the new formatting. Is it an improvement? I think the violett doesn't pop right... or am i only seeing a non-existing problem?

@Aylis I've been following along and updating my list as you're updating, and I'd say the color coding works great. Clicks in my brain very easily which does which, and they seem to pop out fine to me at least.

Edit: One weird thing I've noticed is that I have no way to change the difficulty until I get out of Helgen. After that it appears but if I change the difficult, exit the menu, and go back to it it's reset to Novice. But it seems like the difficulty has indeed gone up, since it says I'm on Novice but I'm getting three-shot like I'm on Legendary. Disregard I'm stupid and love to sniff butts.

Great to have you back working on this update, glad you are better!

Couple of observations so far -

In the Flora - Plants  - Cathedral Mushrooms is included twice, Once as Cathedral - Mushrooms near the top and once again lower down as just Mushrooms.

In World - Locations [Exterior Cities] - Rob's Bug Fixes - TGC Dawnstar the linked mod seems to be obsolete now having been added to the main mod according to the notes.

In World - Locations [Exterior Skyrim] - Environs - Abandoned Abodes has a typo in the link with a , at the end.

In World - Locations [Exterior Skyrim] - Khajiit Has Wares - Dawnstar Patch no longer exists and appears to be an option on the installer for the main mod now.

Thanks for all your hard work putting this together, loking forward to the next sections as you update them.

@kaosengine @trgdolors

I'll look into it. Thanks for the info.

The updates are more a recheck whats in the guide and what i got working here. So if you find something strange tell me about it (i'll make the necessary fixes asap).

#4 is up.

Errors fixed.

Added comment regarding the 'KHW - Dawnstar Patch'

Replaced the outdated rotation mod with 'Race Menu Rotation Mod'.

I'm still not sure if i want to include 'Wintersun'... 🤔

Making a break now. Typing for more than six hours straight isn't good for my wrist. Update #5 (already partially there) will come a bit later.

Hey, not sure if everybody here is aware, but newer version of Sexlab P+ are not compatible with SLAL animations. They have to be converted to SLSB using a script that goes after the original animations in the load order. I found the conversion scripts on the Sexlab P+ Discord under Development/slsb-packs. As much as I hate the use of Discord as a forum/file repository, I do want to respect the original authors' work and not repost them here. A link to the Discord is available on the Sexlab P+ page, posted below.

Additionally, I had some trouble getting converted versions working using FNIS + Nemesis, but Pandora works perfectly, faster, without any hacking required.

@nfortunately

Yep, i'm aware of it, and make a guess what will be in the update... ;)

There will be 'a few' changes to the guide later on. Like the mods i'll add now.

Btw update #5 is complete.

The next update will be a fun one and make the world feel real.

#6 is done.

Removed 'KHW - Dawnstar' as it was for a different city overhaul i used before.

Now we are at roughly 50% of what i got here (i'm still tweaking). The world itself is, diregarding some details (like missing walls for Whiterun), finished. Next updates will focus on populating the world.

*giggles*

Oh boy... I still got some surprises for you...
