Alpha719 Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 My player character won’t change her hair back into any of the bimbo options I switched my hair before the update back to my real hair then after update I tried to change it to the bimbo options is there a console command to change my hair into the bimbo hair?

Morella was indeed sitting on Olava's bench with her. I started her quest but there are only 11/18 items in the bedroom and all its containers. Oh but I didn't wait 'til 7 like was suggested, maybe they'll show up then. That 11/18 is interesting, because there's only 3 of the ones that seem to be bugged in SE/AE. The rest should all be in containers around the room. Have you checked all of the chests/drawers/cupboards? You should be able to use the Makeover! power to choose your hair, or an equipItem xx1DE318 to force it. But if those don't work you've run into a problem that seems to rarely happen. For some reason, the game refuses to equip the hair on the player as if the slot was already occupied. Even changing the hair to be a fully-playable helmet didn't change anything- pressing E to equip just didn't do anything. The only way I could fix it was a new save. I have literally no idea why it happens or how to fix it. If you don't want to restart, you could use racemenu to just manually blonde up your hair. 59 minutes ago, mxwinter said: Ran into the same issues. Does anyone have any idea why that would happen? Because if not I'll have to remove those three from the quest. At least I can leave the dropping them around town part, because you can just put them in chests or barrels for that. EderMercer Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 (edited) Pretty sure the problem with panties is related to there being two BOS_Panties_GO.nif files in the SE patch: one under CustomComments folder directly, and one under CustomComments/armour directory. I solved it by just giving myself the remaining 7 items with the console, so that I'd have 9 of each. Was able to complete the quest after that.

I fumbled the new ground object file into the wrong folder when compiling the SE patch- the one in the armour folder, that the game is actually using, is a dud. The one in the CustomComments folder is the correct file, and should replace the one in the armour folder. I'll upload a version with that fixed as soon as I get a chance. Oh, hm. I'll check it out- I know I never left it long enough between quest started->arrive in bedroom for that to happen in testing, so if they are respawning containers I wouldn't have caught it.

They still sink into the ground and are not recognized as heels for some reason, at least for me anyway. Not a big deal, as I am just using some from a different mod instead. Just wanted to put that out there. I did try (before this patch) to get them to work properly but nothing I did to them seemed to work, even though it seems like they should have. Not sure where the issue lies with these, perhaps something in the way they are put together? I am unsure as those kinda details are a bit over my head.

With how the curse handles hair color changes (both dye and base), causing a "cut" event could be done regardless. With "match natural hair color" enabled in YPS, would make the carpet match the drapes.

I really like the trope of giving dialogue choices that are all clearly not what the PC would want to say as a way of showing their loss of control (for example, having several "Yes" options after being told to do something sexual and no option to say "No"). On the other hand, the trope of straight mind-control (a man walks up to you, casts a spell and ooh now you're enslaved to do what he says, so suck his dick) falls a bit flat for me, so it's tough to come up with a whole questline involving it (and also, involving breaking free of it so that you can keep playing the game). It sort of just comes down to personal preference- the mod actually has not that many instances of straight up enslavement-type mind-control. It's usually an accident, or someone getting or what they deserve or more than they bargained for, or a general non-targeted curse, or something. I prefer more "enslavement-to-the-self" kinds of thing like the bimbo curse, and I think that allows for more interesting gameplay opportunities too. Hmm, looks like the bodyslide nifs had that issue with a leading space in their data that ForeverAloneGuy (I think it was!) mentioned a while back as well. Can you try putting this .nif file in Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\BOS Heels and rebuilding them in bodyslide, and let me know if that helps? I just wanted a cowgirl-type character, I think it'd be more fuss than it's worth to add integration with a mod just to make that one NPC's game mechanics more accurate. The fix for the Good girl rules buff seems to have removed the cooldown period for corruption gain on read. Allowing someone to instantly bimbofy themselves if read enough times in quick succession.

The first is that their seems to have been an oversight on the SE/AE version with the good girl note, at least with a quest I had already started before updating but not finished, don't know if it's there on a fresh new game, said bug is regarding the name and maybe the function on the good girl rules. The second bug is that encounters that it seems are supposed to linger on a final dialouge option and then start sex, like talking to the bimbos and asking them for it or this interaction with farengar, instead immeietly close the menu after the character finishes their silent "Speaking" and don't start sex, no matter how long is waited. I tried to change the the note to look for the Good Girl buff instead of having it's own timer (so you can gain corruption from it again once the buff wears off). In 1.6.1 I'll change the note to detect the underlying Magic Effect instead of the Spell itself. (I've just tested this and it definitely works.) Until 1.6.1, your Dragonborn will just have to resist the urge to read the note over and over and over again... The way it works is that script properties tend to get baked into your save file, even after the scripts themselves get changed or updated. I swapped the note's spell out for a whole new one and redirected the property to point at that, but your save file has the script's reference to the old one locked in. (I renamed the old one so I could easily tell if this exact thing was happening). As for the sex not triggering, that's real odd. It's, like, the simplest functionality in Sexlab (framework.Quickstart(actor1, actor2)), and I use it to trigger every single sex scene in the mod (except for two very specific ones). Unless you have something in your install interfering with dialogue playing or Topic Fragment scripts? What happens internally is that there's a script attached to that line of dialogue ("I've already cast it! On your knees girl"!) that runs when he finishes speaking. The script is one line that basically says StartSex(you, him). That code works fine, so you must have something stopping it from triggering somehow.

I've kinda started somethin like 12 new games in the last couple months so really hopin to not have that be what I have to do, is there another workaround I could do? and any ideas why the script seems to be closing the chatbox instead of starting the event? in terms of maybe a factor of my game causing that? Images below show the two issues, once again this is on AE. I also play on AE and I haven't been having this issue. It may be an issue with your load order or save file? All I can confirm is that it being on AE is probably not the problem. I've had the same issues as other AE users on the rest of the bugs I've seen, but not this.
