The option to make all sex corruptive doesn't seem to be working. I still get corruption like normal from every other source - bimbos, rape, potions, etc but not from normal sex. Also is it intentional that the tavern bimbos don't actually count as bimbos for corruption gain? I tested Roni, Krista, Telarial, Belle, Erina (slut ending), and Cindil and none of them added corruption, I was only able to get it by bimbofying some random woman first.

Great update by the way, I love the new quest.

I have a suggestion for the awesome letter quest.

Spoiler

It would be fun if you could ask Drevis if he could keep sending you lovely letters. When he asks why you could answer it was fun but scary not knowing who was sending them. He'll only agree if you can convince the other masters that you are asking him to do it of your own free will. Lots of fun options there and some bonus dialogue if you're the Archmage. Then you have the fun of the letters with consent and safety.

Again some extremely tiny things (from 1.7), so do or don't do with it what you want @jib_buttkiss; after you receive the hair from Mikael, but the quest hasn't progressed, the dialogue option with Mikael is still there.

And I would have expected Mikael to keep some extra dialogue afterwards "Lyli is the one who got away", or having him refer to the love that could never be, or something like that.

And a longshot option; if the player changes gender after the hair, Mikael could pursue the player. 😁

now all we need is an extension for yps or something that causes hair to gradually become more blonde or whatever color you set it too. just like with bimbo skin.

I only got the first letter delivered to me.

After that I didn't get anything.

skipped two weeks or so and had the timer set to 1

Also having a pop up tell you a new letter is coming is idk...

Any option to turn that off?

There are other options for aroused, but that's the one I use and know works beyond a doubt.

Also, in an attempt to be helpful:

oldrim or Legendary Edition is the pre 64-bit era, so it's the original game that released in 2011 with the expansions :classic_laugh:

SE or Special Edition is typically how I've seen 1.5.97 referred to.

AE or Anniversary Edition is typically how I've seen everything past 1.5.97 (usually settles on 1.6.640 and/or beyond) referred to.

When they jumped from SE to AE, a lot of mods broke, which is why the two often get separated out, both are 64-bit, but Bethesda bethesda'd and broke a bunch of backend stuff that then created a ripple in the mod community with how many mods suddenly became obsolete :classic_laugh:

Which then happened again with 1.6.1130 (and later 1.6.1170) last December when they added a couple more paid mods to the Creations list, as well as adding "Lite" plugins which somehow don't count against the active plugins limit (but I find that both mystifying and not something I want to dive deeper into [ESL instead of ESP, which is also when ESLified suddenly started appearing])

Quick question.
Is there a way to mark a skill as a bimbo skill, so that this skill does not decrease?

In Love Sickness MCM you can set a skill not to be touched.

Only had a couple hours to spare today, so I could only do some quick testing of 1.8, but I've got a few observations from that. Note that these aren't from a fully new game, but rather a save in the LAL cell; restoring all my mod settings at the start of a new game takes way more time than I had available so that will have to wait for a bit. That said I didn't notice any issues, the MCM updated with all the new content in both this LAL save and the last save for the character I've been running for the last few months.

For this test I used one of the inn starts and dropped into the inn at Morthal, where I had placed a quick custom follower. I grabbed the new Elder Scroll using AIM and tried it out on the innkeeper, with the headparts hair changing and name changing on. That worked out fine, although the game was a little stuttery as the script rushed through the curse. It also appears that she's not on the list of pre-set bimbo names, as it gave her a generic one. There was also something slightly unexpected about the hair, which I'll get back to in a second.

Next I recruited that follower and used the debug commands to curse her, setting the progression to one hour and speed running it with waits. Again, everything ran pretty much as expected, aside from one oddity with the hair. I had the 'unusual colors' setting on, but on both of the NPCs the new hair when applied by the curse was still the character's original hair color. I don't remember this happening on the prior version, I'm pretty sure that the color changed immediately there. The original hair color persisted through the final stages of the curse, and it then took two changes of hairstyle to get the new color on the follower. On the innkeeper, however, her hair color never changed. It seems like the script somehow picked her original black hair color as its random color, maybe?

Once both NPCs were fully converted, I dismissed the follower and popped in and out of the inn several times to check their stability. I did have the greyface bug pop up on both of them the first time I went back in, but it only happened that once in multiple cell loads, so it appears to be more stable there than in the previous version where I was getting greyfaces all the time. I also exited and reloaded the game several times, and found that the new hair still doesn't persist between game sessions. Every time the game is loaded they're back to their original hair meshes, and I didn't see anything firing off to fix that.

As for the fixes for the name loss bug, they seem to be a resounding success so far. At no point during any of my testing did the follower lose her name. In the previous version simply exiting and re-entering a cell once was enough for a dismissed follower to lose their name, so the name persisting through multiple cell and game loads is very promising. It did mean that I had to load an existing save where I had several folowers affected by the name loss bug to test the fix spell, though. That spell worked perfectly every time, restoring their original names which then let me reapply their bimbo names through the dialog options. So that seems to completely resolve the issues with the name change function.

It also unexpectedly resolved a separate issue. In that existing savegame I had run into a problem with Slavetats; at some point the function that let it detect nearby NPCs apparently stopped, which prevented me from manually changing their tattoos. I thought that either this mod or DoM might be responsible for this, as the both of them hook into Slavetats the most out of the mods I run, but didn't have any real clue as to the cause. After fixing the name on a follower that I had done a lot of tattoo changes on I decided to check Slavetats again, and all of a sudden its NPC detection was working again. I can only assume that the names getting lost somehow bugged up the detection system. Hopefully the more stable names in 1.8 will stop that from reoccurring.

Only other thing I've noticed so far is that the mid-curse 'how are you feeling?' dialog didn't make it into this version? Was kinda looking forward to that.

I also did not notice any changes in MCM, for the sake of interest I looked through additem, I did not find any new notes, although the file itself. The esp is larger in size than the previous one. Now at level 38, so far no letters have arrived. Maybe some other conditions are needed?

MCMs tend not to update unless you start a new save.

Any quests that have the 'Run Once' flag don't refresh their properties if they're changed.

That means if an update adds new properties to a quest, the game won't recognize it and papyrus will show an error whenever it attempts to call it.

Spoiler
Error: Cannot call <function name> on a None object, aborting function call

There are 2 ways to work around this.

1) Utilize the OnVersionUpdate MCM feature to fill any newly added properties on quests that have the Run Once flag set.

Spoiler
Scriptname CC_MCM_Script extends SKI_ConfigBase

CC_exampleScriptName exampleScriptName Property Auto

; Increment this every time you need to use OnVersionUpdate
Int Function GetVersion()
    Return 2
EndFunction

; Manually set script properties this way. newVersion is the version number were updating to
Event OnVersionUpdate(Int newVersion)
    ; Ensures this doesn't run the first time the mod is installed
    If CurrentVersion > 0
    	; If you want to split this based on versions
    	If CurrentVersion < 2
                exampleScriptName.newObject = Game.GetFormFromFile(0x1234, "CustomComments.esp") as ObjectReference
                Quest exampleQuest = Quest.GetQuest("CC_exampleQuest")
                exampleScriptName.newQuest = exampleQuest
        EndIf
    EndIf
EndEvent

2) Remove the Run Once flag from any quests that you don't intend to be run only once.

This removes the need for method 1.

This WILL NOT work for save games that already have Bimbos of Skyrim.

This will ONLY solve the issue for new games/saves that don't already have Bimbos of Skyrim.

@jib_buttkiss

The if statement logic for 'Corrupton on all sex' CC_SexEventsScript needs to be changed.

It will currently never fire, because sexVictim is None for consensual scenes. CC_CorruptionOnAllSex needs to be separated from the sexVictim checks.

Spoiler

CC_SexEventsScript.psc Line 548:

;CORRUPTION ON AGGRESSIVE SEX:
;Player: if victim is player and this is enabled
if (sexVictim == Player as actor) &&  (CC_CorruptionOnRape.GetValue() == 1 || CC_CorruptionOnAllSex.GetValue() == 1)

;Other NPC: if victim is other NPC and this is enabled
if ((sexVictim != Player as actor)  &&  ((CC_CorruptionOnRape.GetValue() == 1 || CC_CorruptionOnAllSex.GetValue() == 1)))  &&  sexVictim != None

It shouldn't be YPS thing, so no worries there. Is this on a fresh save file? Try hitting the NPC with the reset name debug spell (get it from the MCM).

I am sorry if that offends anyone.

Well, sounds like you're a second person who'd be keen for that "make quest NPCs female" patch CodeSerpent wanted. I'll get around to it vaguely soonish- probably just after I get 1.8.1 going.

15 hours ago, emily1673 said:

Thanks again for the update! I tried it out and the gender-swap and bimbo nails feature work well.

Two observations:

1) I noticed that Bimbos upon getting their nails (Bimbo stage 50) immediately are set to Bimbonailstage = 4.

Maybe it would be nice to let the Bimbo nails grow over time.

As I see it, it is not very straightforward to add gradual nail growth into the bimbomorphhandler script, since it works differently.

I might just add such a functionality to YPS: e.g. if current Bimbonailstage == 0, and the modevent is called to set it to =4, YPS will not immediately do it, but rather set it to =1, and add one additional nail stage once per 24h, until the value 4 is reached on the fourth day. For me this is easy to implement.

2) I noticed that the GenderBender message is just a single line. I think there could be some more versatility, but I could that just add to YPS: once the gender change modevent is called, one of the transformation "stories" will be played. There have already been several suggestions on this forum, and I might just include them if that is ok with everybody. So these stories could also be used if other mods want to use the genderbender modevent.

Anyway, good job! :)

Nice! Glad that bit's working at least!

1) I always had the bimbo curse as a series of unexpected transformations. So the nails don't grow out naturally, because the PC thinks everything is completely normal- until she looks down and suddenly has long pink manicured nails!

But if you can add the 'sudden growth' you've described, that's cool too!

2) Oh? It's mean to be a mid-length messagebox that loads from bimboDreams.json (and is therefore customisable), followed by a short "You're a woman now" explanation. I'll look into that.

15 hours ago, xyzxyz said:

It certainly shouldn't have! Is it possible you gained some corruption from something else?

14 hours ago, xyzxyz said:

Who has the highest chance of reducing bimbo corruption?

It's entirely dependent on what materials you use, so all vendors have the same chance.

Technically priests are a bit worse since they don't accept any max-level ingredient so you can never make the best cure possible with them, but that's not particularly helpful!

Nice breakdown, I'll just respond to things as you brought them up:

-Yep, the bimbo scroll will cause a little stutter. The game's not a huge fan of triggering all 16 bimbo stages instantly.

-I'll look into the hair colours. It's possible I messed something up when I adjusted that script. It's also equally possible that yeah the innkeeper got black hair she already had.

-For the hair not staying on reload, does come back on its own after a bit (about ~30 seconds or on cell change? That's the behavior I saw (and expected).

-Good to hear about the names! God that was an annoying problem. I still don't know why other mods that do it (like The Manipulator) don't have this issue and I do.

-Yeah, there's not much new bimbo dialogue in this update. I got pretty stuck with the hypno quest, so didn't have the drive to do it. Next time!

Just wanna say brilliant update, I know you had a lot of trouble getting the  whole hypno notes thing working but nothing is perfect from the beginning, but one thing I will say is the genderbending curse is probably my favorite addition because it seems to have good synergy with YPS's being a woman quest which of though not done I can already see great potential in the two. I've not tested it yet but I assume the genderbending curse will perhaps go with Lyvia's quest at some point soon but I shant pressure you into doing things right away, I'm very greatful for the stuff we've got and that this mod is even still being worked on.

So yeah, just gonna give you a pat on the back for that and to say keep up the good work whenever you feel ready to do so.

"True, true, but did you see those titties though."

This doesn't seem to be working for me. Courier seems to just stand around after delivering the "give gold" letter (which I understand is probably vanilla behavior?). I'm on SE, this is how I tested this script on a new game.
 - Change MCM settings to lvl 1 start and letter every 2 days.
 - Using Live Another Life start in Markarth Home
 - Wait 48 hours inside, go outside and receive quest
 - Go to the mine, activate the chest.
 - Wait 48 hours, go outside & receive "give gold" quest
 - Complete quest, go inside, wait 48 hours
 - Go outside, Courier just standing there, "Nope, sorry. Nothing."

Also, good chance I'm mistaken here (memory is a bit hazy on this), but I think on my first try of the mod I got a letter *after* the "give gold" letter, and then I didn't receive any after that. So it *may* not be consistent.
