Since this mod does not touch sanctuary at all the bridge flickering is another mods doing all together.

 

 

Put Commonwealth Slavers at the bottom of your load order or as close to it as you can.

oddly enough, the flickering came after i got it, nuka ride and some other mods related to them.

not saying they caused this, but it's weird (never happened to me last year when i downloaded nuka ride, either)

and nope, putting the mod last thing in load order didn't help, i forgot to mention that the massage (commonwealth slavers ready!) do appear and all the pointers that the mod works, just can't start it.

Oh, I'd love to. In fact, that's how my third project came about. I said to myself "I'm going to create a small club where the player can go and make extra money by serving drinks, dancing, acceding to customer requests, etc. whenever the player wants".

 

But the club needs a guard. It needs an owner. You need coworkers. You need clients. And to accept/reject requests I need the client to have different personalities. One can be nice, other can be rude or a pervert. I don't want to randomly give personalities (imagine client 01 starts out as a pervert but the next time you visit the club he is a gentleman...).

 

And, as much as I try to avoid it, I want to give a little background to everyone. When you start to give background, you start to give them personality. And when you give them enough personality, the dialogues come out on their own and then the quests come. If I don't do that, I feel like they seem so generic.

 

So the small project ends up becoming a big project with different characters, plots and subplots.

 

I have tried it. But I like to tell stories.

 

I will never be able to make a light mod. ?

 

 

 

Tattoo Tutorial   and there is no materials tutorial. I learned by copying other authors' materials.

I finished the Hooker quest, am back at the whorehouse and after having rested I am tasked to speak to him in order to get the next quest. That is the Scaver quest according to the main quest stage overview.

 

Thing here is akin to the last problem I am able to force the next stage, but Declan refuses to let me out.

In fact he plays the supplies answer when talked to about going out.

 

From what I can tell the timer on my collar is not set and it seems that is acting as a kind of failsafe to not let the slave escape by simply wandering out the front door.

 

On top of that everyone and their pet hamster is repeating the apparently last line lindstrom is supposed to say for giving that quest.

Including me.

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm. Maybe you uninstalled a mod (or cleaned your save) and now everything is messed up and the mod is broken.


Or maybe you used console commands at some point, but this mod is a minefield. Because internally, sometimes, advancing a quest means advancing one or two other quests. And if one of them does not advance, then everything is at a standstill.

 

But, yeah, the mod is broken rn.

No on the first two as this is a dedicated new game made specifically for CS.

On top of that uninstalling a mod mid playthrough is a horrible Idea on Bethesda Games.

Not everything you can do is a good thing to actually do.

The one you recommended earlier.

 

But I don't think a stuck quest alone is capable of explaining the "new and improved" greeting sported by absolutely everyone.

 

Short from reverting to a much earlier save (and possibly run into the same bug a third time) there literally is nothing I could think of doing.

I guess I'll try that and hope for the best.

JB. i'm really in need of your help right now, i'm trying to make the mod work for a day now, nothing works so far. i did figure out the flickering issue is related to nuka ride somehow after disabling it and checking the game. and this mod, CS, doesn't start by talking to murphy (i can't talk to him, the player just say hi and that's it)

i'm not asking for much, just a few tips and general advices regarding my load order. would mean a lot to me.

Well, this is just install it and you're done. You literally have Murphy there right out of the Vault. If you get the message that Commonwealth Slavers is ready, it is because everything is installed correctly.

 

But a quick look at your mod list and I see that you have mods like "Less Quest" that might conflict (I don't know, I'm just saying...). Or SexEmUp, which could cause the character to start whoring if you activate it.

 

The only thing I can recommend is that you create a new profile in your MO and activate only the basic mods, and test. A profile dedicated to Commonwealth Slavers.

 

With this mod you will not be able to use even a tenth of those mods that you have installed ? It is an extremely restrictive mod.

Is there a way that I can progress with the main story and interact with merchants while free roaming? I understand that it makes no sense story wise for a raider slave to be doing quests and selling items to merchants, but I don't want to end my enslavement and I want to progress with the game

Continue on to Nuka Ride and become a different kind of slave...

That can only be said by Medium Sized. There is no way the character would say that line. I really think the mod broke at some point.

Talk to Medium Sized. He's the one who should say that line, but if the player keeps saying it, I don't know. For some reason the aliases got messed up and the mod acts like you are Medium Sized, something I've never seen reported.

And there is the second part of the issue I reported earlier.

 

Declan is unwilling and/or unable to open the door.

If I talk to him about letting me out he starts the dialogue option for obtaining supplies instead.

 

can COC to the outside of corvega, run back and talk to medium sized bomb.

But as far as I understand it he is supposed to accompany/supervise me on the scavanging but he does not move an inch.

 

 

 

I tried a "speedrun" from an earlier "The Fighter" save and it is exactly this.

If you remember that was the first quest where Lindstrom did not want to talk and I started the next quest via console.

I suspect the mod broke somehow  before I reached that point and only now I am seeing the cracks.

I played through this mod over the weekend.  It was dark, depressing, and one of the best quest mods that I have ever played.  In the end, I chose to keep the marks, the tattoos, and the name change for my character because it felt like I had earned them.  Fantastic job!

 

There were two issues that I encountered.

1) After the slave fight, Jared just left my character in the cage forever.  I got around it by using tfc, flying over to Jared's location, clicking on him in the console, disabling tfc, and then using moveto player.  He immediately teleported out of the cage, and then a "Raider" came over to the cage to let me out, saying that the boss wanted to talk to me.

2) The inside of Corvega is all strange and missing textures.  This causes odd light streaking on all walls and floors, making it hard to navigate.  I ended up using the elevator to get to the assembly floor and back each time because stairs were impossible to navigate.  I knew where the factory assembly room stairs were, so I was able to use them without seeing them.

Thanks. It's definitely depressing, which is why I have a hard time grasping the mod. But I've almost finished it and I can't wait to start doing the final quest, which is basically the destruction of the slavery ring.

 

The first and second bug are related. This mod needs higher priority in your plugins list. It has to be lower.

Hey, JB, I was just wondering if, at some point, it would be possible to transform the mod into a femdom-themed one? (as an mcm option ofc)

Like swap the slavers to females and slaves into males. I could model chastity devices (although, again, I don’t know how to import them to F4 ?), some custom collars and whatnot. Maybe spice things up with castration/nullification. I could help with the dialogues maybe? There’s a huge shortage of femdom content and I feel like this mod would fit perfectly into the theme, with not that many adjustments to it. Or, I guess, I have no idea how F4 modding works lol

Fantastically done quest mod. Seconding the guy earlier when they said that it was one of the best quest mods they've ever played. I walked into it expecting to have a fun little romp around the raider encampments for a few hours and then I'd get back to the main game afterward. I ended it feeling bleak and depressed, I promptly burned Corvega and the surrounding area to the ground, and then I went to have a lie down. God, I want to give my PC a hug and some therapy.

I want to give particular praise to the unique PC animations and dialogue on the junkie path. Just... jesus christ. Suitably grim and very effective. Well done, I look forward to seeing this mod's conclusion.

I'm sorry to ask this question, because it has probably been answered. But I have started a new game and run into murphy, and his dialogue starts. However he just walks into me and nothing happens. Have I done something incorrect when installing the mod?

Yes, no.

 

If you see Murphy sitting near Vault 111 you have installed CS.

If all initiating dialogue does is him standing up you have not awarded the esp high enough priority.

Load order:

lower in the list = higher priority.

 

If you use vortex you can double click the esp and assign it to the group "dynamic patches".

Plugins from this group are assigned the highest priority automatically.

Also just make sure if you are using a alternate start mod like start me up. And don't start at the vault make sure to go down into the vault aswell. The quest won't kick off if you just go straight to him.
